That said, the prices are pretty comparable to the beer prices at Midway, and Howdy Doody is easier to get in and out of. They don't always have what I am looking for, but they always have something that I like (something I cannot say for the nearby 7-11) when it comes to beer. PokéStop next door at Chopsticks, and a gym across the street at the doctor's office. The employees here are always pretty chill - no one is particularly friendly and I've never seen an employee out from behind the counter, but they are always nice, fast, and get the job done without issue. Overall, if I have the time, I go elsewhere for beer, but only because of the price. Otherwise, this is a neat little c-store in a great location.

As far as the history of convenience stores in Dallas, Circle K was always an also-ran. 7 Eleven was king for decades and the competition fell off behind them in varying degrees of "convenience needs satisfaction". Then 15 years or so ago, Quick Trip revolutionized the business by providing well stocked clean stores with great service and now they dominate the area. Im not sure if Circle Ks are company owned or franchised but this one seems to be independently owned. As i was taking photos for this review,the clerk approached me asking,"why are you taking the pictures"? I explained but not sure he understood. The inside of the store is geared pretty much as you would expect. It appears it mainly serves customers getting gas outside that need to pick up a drink or candy. New wine room has a decent selection of basic wines, more than typical for a gas station. Gas station has shell gasoline. Use your Kroger Plus Card for a discount if you have 100 Kroger points accrued (from spending $100 at Kroger with your Kroger Card).
