I was broken down on the side of route 1. These guys told AAA they could be there in an hour or less. After an hour passed and they did not show, I called AAA and AAA could not even find him. At the two-hour mark AAA says "call your own tow and we'll pay you back." So I do and pay in advance by credit card. At the two and a half hour mark when the tow I have prepaid for on my own is en route, this fellow finally calls to say he is just minutes away. Had something heavy from the back seat fly forward and hit my shifter, damaging it. Even though it was right around Thanksgiving, Dennis got my car back on the road in just a couple days. While I am not local, I went here 3 months ago for help with a tire issue, which was quickly resolved for a reasonable fee -- and was back today for an oil change and help with an undercarriage problem -- again, quickly, efficiently resolved for a reasonable fee. From what I've seen here both times, they clearly have a devoted clientele that appreciates personal service and, even though I don't live nearby, I may plan to have this be my "go to" for car maintenance during my frequent trips to the area. My tire had a slow leak that I needed to have repaired fast. I had called several tire repair shops in the area and they were booking into the following week. Our 2009 Nissan Murano broke down (just died) on a back road in the middle of nowhere near Pemaquid Harbor, ME on a rainy Saturday afternoon with terrible cell phone reception. We called AAA and they connected us with Quick Turn Auto Repair and Towing for a battery check and possible tow. Parker, the driver, was able to find us and get us loaded up on their flatbed truck after the battery checked out fine. We decided to tow the car back to the Quick Turn Auto shop instead of a Nissan dealer that was further away since it was a Saturday afternoon and we were hoping that Quick Turn would be quicker to diagnose and possibly repair the problem since we were scheduled to depart the following day (a Sunday) to go back home 4 hours away. Dennis, the shop owner, came in himself from home and did diagnose the issue as a failed alternator and told us the part would not be available until Monday, which necessitated us to stay an extra day at our lodgings without a vehicle since Enterprise wasn't open until then. Dennis also hooked us up with a local taxi service to take us back to our hotel in Boothbay Harbor. As things happened, the repair was not able to be fixed on Monday due to an issue with a connector that also needed to be found, shipped, and installed. Long story short, we got a rental car to go back home, then we were able to return to pick up our repaired vehicle the following Friday. The repair bill was less than we anticipated which was great. The car has run flawlessly since our return home and we were very fortunate to have Dennis and his team help us out under the worst of circumstances.
