Since I rarely review fuel/service stations, I wanted to put in my two cents (or in this case my 1213th Yelp review) and give everyone some insight on the Fernley, NV "Quik Stop". Located directly on Nevada State Route 95 and just south of the I-80 freeway, this particular gas station is convenient not just because of the quiet location that is fairly off the beaten path but also because it is one of the lower priced options in this part of the state. I came here during the evening on Thursday 7/2/2026 at around 6:30pm to top off my gas. The exterior layout is recognizably that of a Quik Stop complete with the distinctive logo and colors that motorists are already familiar with. The vast amount of pumps with enough space to accommodate larger trucks and RVs make getting in and out of this station quite a painless process. I also wanted to add that they offer squeegees with clean water for your windshield. The interior layout is also very clean, organized, and well-kept as they offer a hot food area which includes pizza and hot dogs as well as pre-packaged items including premade sandwiches and salads. And kudos for this Quik Stop for offering a fairly generous coffee station area. In addition to the vast amount of snacks, they offer your basic needs that you'd find at many other service stations including tobacco, motor oil, sunglasses, medicine, and other essentials to make your driving experience a positive one. Since I needed to fill up my tank, I opted for cash which was actually a few cents less. But for those that wish to pay by debit/credit, they do offer Apple & Google Pay as an option. I will say that the service here was definitely a positive one as the lady behind the register was super sweet. Since I had to use the public restroom (before heading west to Reno), that too was well-kept with stocked bathroom tissue & hand soap. All in all, the Fernley "Quik Stop" exceeded my expectations as this review gets an above average four-star rating. read more

You have to wait in line for somebody that's buying tobacco product that's not stocked on the shelf, and they go back and can't find it for ten minutes.Fill the paper receipts. at 5:14 this morning I paying for gas at the counter with checkout clerk named Cinnamon . As I'm getting ready to ring up my card the clerk takes it upon herself to turn the payment kiosk, and try to put in her rewards number I asked her what she was doing, and she looked at me dead in the face with no response. I told her I will enter my own rewards number and thats actually illegal and that's stealing from your customers. She completely ignored me. Had to ask for a receipt walked out the store. This place is a great stopping place if you are headed south on the highway or headed to the park for a ball game. We stopped here often for gas, snacks and drinks all the time for various sports, school and camping trips. It is usually pretty busy because of its location. The staff is friendly and someone almost always greats you when you walk in the door. They have a great selection of products and everyone can always find a snack and a drink. Clean......staff was even OUTSIDE cleaning!!! However they HAVE gone up in price lately! 7-11 is usually cheaper. Other than my exhusband the staff here rocks! Especially Christina! Drove in to find an employee moseying in front of 3 cars trying to maneuver the lot so she could move a cone. She almost caused us be be rear ended and backed into at the same time. Cheap gas isn't worth it if they max out your debit card as a "pre authorization." Wanted $6 of gas, they gave me $6 of gas and charged me all $22 I had for it. Great people, good clean store. I just wish the fuel was as cheap as the Maverick in Dayton. Big difference. Probably because we are adjacent to a major freeway. I also wish they would be able to keep the coke icees working good. Most of the time they are runny and undrinkable. . Need to follow 7-11 example. Their slurpees are good 90% of the tiune. So quick stop markets charge the same price for a fountain size cup whether you put soda in it or ice water. How dumb is that?? I can understand charging the price of the cup but the super smart cashier decided to tell me that that's their cost on inventory for the cup. Really? No, not really. So if this theory is correct then I can bring in my own cup and fill it with soda for free?! Wow! What a deal! Because they don't actually charge for the soda, but the cup. I'm not a soda drinker so I find it really dumb that she tells me "you should have put soda in it." No, I shouldn't have. But I will take my ice water buying business and fuel purchases to Mavericks, who only charges .27 cents for their cups. Maybe Quik Stop should find out who their vendor is so they won't be paying so much for their "cup inventory costs"... LMAO read more
