I was approached in a very unprofessional manner and accused of stealing some alcohol and drinking it in the restroom. Now, let me make this clear, I am not a drinker, let alone a smoker or drug user. I feel as if I were racially profiled by the employee who was literally observing in The bathroom. I politely explained my position and asked the manager to pull the cameras or call the police to have this insane accusation handled. The manager declined all of my requests. I was literally livid and embarrassed. I did call the corporate office the following day and demanded the cameras to be pulled and an apology' for discrediting my integrity. Being hung up on while trying to manage an important prescription is extremely unprofessional and reflects poorly on the level of care being provided. Patients should not have to deal with uncertainty, lack of communication, and disrespect when it comes to their medication. I would appreciate a follow-up regarding this situation, including what steps your team will take to ensure this does not happen again to other patients. It should have been communicated last week that the medication might not be available, allowing me to make other arrangements. While you may be dependent on your supplier, patients should not be placed in the same position due to poor communication and lack of transparency.
