The lady that check me out was rude and gave me a dirty look. The dog spot is small and no shade. One of the bathroom stalls was also gross.

I'm only providing a one star review, because I cannot publish without at least one star; if it were up to me, I wouldn't even give a star..here's my story. I worked late into the night, and have a history of gassing up, purchasing snacks etc. well before I picked my snacks and paid for my gas, I visited the ladies room. I'm not kidding you, but the restroom was filled with the local lot lizards drinking and cleaning themselves. I did noticed an employee standing near the door observing the raucous; I quickly used the restroom and walked out, picked out my fav tea and a bag of Chex muddy's. I stood in line for about ten mins, once I reached the cashier to pay, the same employee that was in the restroom was standing near the cashier. I was approached in a very unprofessional manner and accused of stealing some alcohol and drinking it in the restroom. Now, let me make this clear, I am not a drinker, let alone a smoker or drug user. I feel as if I were racially profiled by the employee who was literally observing in The bathroom. I politely explained my position and asked the manager to pull the cameras or call the police to have this insane accusation handled. The manager declined all of my requests. I was literally livid and embarrassed. I did call the corporate office the following day and demanded the cameras to be pulled and an apology' for discrediting my integrity. I will not do business with this place of business based on my negative experience. read more

Stopped in here on a recent road trip and their motto "clean places and smiling faces" is alive and breathing at this location. Came here for gas, bathroom break for us and our dogs. One thing super nice about this location is the dog park/bathroom. It's a large gated off area with plenty of room for your pet to roam. While they have poop bags available for the customers some customers don't believe in cleaning up after their dog which is completely rude. Inside the minute you walk in was the "smiling face" welcoming us into Loves. Then the "clean places" this place is immaculately clean. The restroom was so clean and despite the amount of traffic this place probably gets it was absolutely above standard. Great location and for sure will be one of our favorite stop off places while traveling. read more

Never thought I'd see the day when I'd review a travel stop.... but Love's is just THAT different. My travel companion told me how his dad would only stop at Love's, and I now understand why. I made two stops at this Love's: once, on my way to Burning Man last week, and again today, on my way back out. On the way in, I picked up ice, fuel, and water for my motorhome. On a side note, I was surprised at how tasty the food was (that pepperoni pizza is bomb!). On my way out today, I had to pump out the grey and black water tanks. I paid the $10 fee, and I'm NOT kidding when I say that the fella apologized for taking THREE MINUTES to get to me! The service here is impeccable, and I'm now a convert! Plus, for frequent stoppers, I understand they have a rewards program. Winning! Thank you, Love's, for reminding us of how it's SUPPOSED to be! read more

Honestly the only reason I'm giving 1 star is because of the hospitality my husband and I received from Diane at God Fathers Pizza she was a breath of fresh air. But this was the worst shower experience at a Loves we have ever had didn't have any towels and one of the towels smelled like pet pee so my husband gave me his to dry with and I had to cut my normal routine short to go to the desk and get two more towels anyway and when I told the manager it didn't seem to phase her. not a very comfortable or relaxing experience we have been to Loves all over the US we shower at loves every other day and this location was very Disappointing. read more

Store # 716 Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Sept 18th had a small utility trailer and the tire blew. I had a spare but I didn't have the tools to fix it. The guys at the truck stop fixed it on the spot and didn't even charge me. Excellent group of workers. Can't thank them enough. read more

Loves Truck Stop and Travel center are one of the few gems that most people get to experience, I mean if your not a truck driver then why stop there? Well did you notice that cars stop there too, so if you walk in an picked up one of their reward cards after signing up at the kiosk that is you will start to accumulate points to spend on discounts, showers and more. Now Showers your thinking, I'm not showering there. But why not? If your the kinda traveler whom sleeps in their car well you need to wash up somewhere. My thoughts on more about Loves.... The Staff, well at this location it's excellent I mean everyone has their bad days but hey who doesn't. But the staff are always so nice and helpful. There's one whom gets to know everyone without keeping them from there day to day outings total sweetheart. But no when it comes to a truck stop I'd rate the staff here a B+ As for the establishment and building, this location is connected to a casino with staff on duty for gambling needs, also it has Arbys in case your hungry and truck stop foods not for you. Both are Open 24hrs a Day. Loves Manager your doing a great job running this location keep it up. read more

Loves Lake Havasu ...I hope this reaches someone who can give this man the respect he deserves. And hopefully my current status plays no role because my husband and currently homeless. Completely out of options and resources I asked the girl behind the counter if i could speak to the manager. When he approached us I didnt know what to expect so I just said i was homeless and hungry and if they were throwing any food out we would gladly take it since its been a minute since our last meal. He said that we wouldnt want that because its old and no good, but he could do better. He then escorted us to the subway and said to the girl working make them whatever they want and call me when its ready, So we made some sandwiches and not knowing while we made our sandwiches he went and gathered up 2 grocery bags worth of things from the store like fresh fruit, fresh sandwiches and water tea and soda. The amount of food totalled close to $100 my husband said,(he watched him litterally pull out his wallet and pay) he then came and payed for our subway too. About half way through the meal he saw us sitting outside and approached us again and asked very politely if we would like a shower. We agreed and upon entering the shower there sitting on the counter was a hand written note and inside it said "i dont know what got you here, just know the best chapter of your life has yet to be written. This is only temporary, Keep your head up and dont give up" signed much love repect and encouragement.. A friend... When we were talking earlier his name tag said Brett. THis man changed our lives, we were so moved by him my, husband went out to look for work that day and found a job. He spent the past year looking eveywhere but noone would hire him. We never got a chance to thank him. So hopefully he reads this and doesnt stop being a real human being. Love these travel shops!! They allow overnight parking which is a plus. They always seem pretty clean and a few places have dog parks!

It's hard to hate on a place called Love's. I bought one of my favorite lighters here - on my first Burning Man trip in 2006. I can still remember waking up groggy - my overalls sticking to me - from being scrunched up in the back seat - and staring at a big bright sign that simply read Love's. I stumbled out of the car, and stocked up on water, gum, and a perfect Love's lighter. When it comes to "on the road" necessities - like Gatorade, snacks, magazines etc - Love's is a worthwhile stop. Their gas is pretty cheap - and it's a nice place to pull into - while you clean yourself up (ie - wipe eye crust out of eyes, brush hair, and use their restrooms). Next time I make my way back up here - I plan on buying several lighters. It always makes me smile to have that beautiful word in my pocket and bag. Oh and interesting fact - Love's is currently ranked No. 15 on Forbe's Magazine's annual listing of America's largest privately held companies. hmmmmmm...... read more

Burners before you hop on the 80 heading back to your default lives, this is a great place to grab a hot shower, dump your RV for$10, refill your water tanks, gas up and get an Arby's sammie for the ride home. Wonderful crew at this location. read more

The shop in Fernley sucks I called about a tire on my trailer the tire guy said they couldn't get to it till 11 pm it was 530 when I called

We stopped to get fuel while hauling our 40' horse trailer. My dog decided to lock the door while my husband fueled us up and I was inside. Our 3 yr old and 2 month old sons were inside with our two dogs- luckily the truck was running and AC was on. They immediately called the service dept with an unlock kit for us. 3 truck drivers stopped to help us.. within about 15 minutes they unlocked it.. Awesome staff that were more than willing to help us for nothing more than a handshake.... read more

Please re-post, share or call your friends in Nevada. An elderly father lost his spayed female dachsund named "Two" at the Loves Travel Stop exit 46 off I-80 near Fernley, Nevada today. Two is a very friendly dog, age 12, wearing a pink collar with fake jewels on it. She is a long haired dachsund. This is especially devasting as This Gentleman lost his wife (married 55 years) just three weeks ago. It is so devasting for him to lose this dog especially at this time. Please help us. . This is a nice, clean, convenient stop for fuel and a restroom break if you are travelling on I-80 westbound. Prices on fuel are very reasonable and the store is normally well stocked. There isn't much traffic on this side of the fwy compared to the other side where Pilot is, so it makes it easier to get in and out, even in the event you are travelling eastbound. read more

Nice truck stop for a shower and rest. Plenty of car parking spaces and modern bathrooms. Showers are a bit outdated and beat up but water flow is strong. Fuel prices are the best in the area and location is very convenient. Store well stocked and can suffice any of your needs. read more

They have a pet area at their Winnemucca, NV location. I have never seen this before at a truck stop. It had grass and a secure chain link fence and there were two areas side by side. I had my own bags and didn't see that there were any free ones. What a nice extra. read more

For the most of my recent trip I was so impressed with the restrooms, how clean and updated they were. But there was one Love's in Ocala Florida that seemed to have been forgotten and it was horrible. You truly need to update this stop especially after all the other ones I stopped at on my trip from Florida to Mississippi. I will never stop at this one in Ocala, Florida again. I even felt sorry for the women who had their children in the restroom. I would have told them to TOUCH NOTHING. Keep up the good work, but please work on this one it's terrible. If I could give zero starts rating for this LOVE'S location (store #412) I would. On 5/4/20 I've stopped at their 3948 Hodges Chapel Rd, Dunn, NC 28334 location (Exit 77 on I-95) on my way from FL to NY in order to buy 5 cartons of cigarettes and soft drinks. Once I got back into my car (which was parked in front of the store) I've realized that I was overcharged for the cartons of cigarettes. I immediately went back to in the store, the lady that sold me the items couldn't explain why I was charged more than the price she said. She then called a manager named Brian Williams to handle the situation. It took Brian more than 5 minutes to figure out what happened, apparently the lady told me the wrong price. When I asked to return the cigarettes cartons for a full refund (so I can buy it cheaper in another place), I was told by Brian that it's a federal crime to accept cigarettes back once I've exited the store. Brian wasn't willing to rectify the situation or to "make it right" in any way. To top it all off, Brain showed no regrets nor expressed any apologies for his worker's mistake. I ended up having no choice but to leave the store stunned, feeling cheated and without a way to return something I purchased literally 1 minutes before. Overall bad service, under trained employees, lack of courteous approach by employees and the manager. I will never stop there again. On 5/5/20 I've advised Love's in writing of the matter (via a message sent through their website) while asking to contact me to rectify the situation. As of today, I didn't hear back from no one about the matter. read more

On our annual trips we stop in here because its clean, well put together, and the fuel is cheap. Travel further east and you wish you stopped here. Compared to the other fueling stations ill choose to stop and shop at Loves any day. read more

An it getting harder an harder get fuel points added to your card after 1am thry alw as us say system down com back get your points added. I lost over 600 points in l as st six monts no one would help me get them back. . Workes either didnt know how or said they didn't have the authority.
