Mine feels and looks every bit of what you'd expect for the price and truly takes the room up a few notches. It's part function, part art. And moving around on it is like gliding on ice. In fact, you actually have to get used to how effortless it is. Whatever force you'd been putting into moving around will now send you rolling right off the thing! I also want to give a big thumbs-up to their casters. The chair mat would be great (and enough) without their casters, but they're an excellent addition. In fact, I've tried the chair at another desk without the glass mat, and it's a huge improvement over that regular chair. The regular chair's casters get bogged down in the carpet, while Clearly Innovative's casters move smoothly through. (New casters on the way!) So if you can't afford a chair mat, at least consider getting their casters. It'll be a huge upgrade to your desk experience. Last, a definite five stars to Hirrum and Brendon for their solid customer service. No problems needed to be fixed, but it was solid end to end, and the glass mat arrived in a very impressive packing that was fully thoughtful.
