    FREE AIR!
    Chris S.

The closest QT to my house and one of the newer ones in the Charlotte area (relatively speaking, all of their stores are less than 3 years old). I go to a lot of QuikTrip stores throughout the week and I can tell you that this one follows the company's standards of cleanliness very well. Trash cans outside are emptied regularly and employees are always out cleaning up somebody else's mess (shame on people!). Heck, one day I even saw an QT associate pressure washing in front of the door, impressive! I can't stress this amenity enough: All QuikTrip stores have FREE AIR! Who would ever have thought we'd be cruising all around Charlotte looking for a place to top off a tire without being robbed by an air compressor? I pulled into another gas station the other day and their compressor had a $1.50 fee, complete with a credit card reader, what is this?! Thank you QT, for the free air, it means a lot. It makes me wonder if someday in the near future, might we have to pay for regular air to breathe? I digress... If you're going up or down Tryon St. the store is easy enough to pull into. Northbound just turn right into the place and southbound will need to turn onto Pavilion Blvd, then right at the movie theater. If you're on Salome Church Rd. (most people would know it as Ridge Rd, it changes names near Hwy 29) you're outta luck. You're forced to turn right, away from the store, then the only place to make a (legal) U-turn is about 1-1/2 miles up the road, bummer! Everything you would expect at a convenience store can of course be found here. Fresh pizza, milkshakes, hot dogs, and a huge selection of snacks are all QuikTrip staples. Thank you QT for clean stores, clean restrooms, and most of all FREE AIR!

This was my first time visiting this store. I was immediately welcomed by staff. I noticed the store was clean and everything was in order. This store is not your average gas station because of the large selection of items. The food actually looked appetizing which is something most do no say at the usual filler up shops. Although i just popped in for a quick visit, i was very impressed. Good job, QuikTrip. You made my quick trip awesome.

The slushee selection is over delightful. I have found love in a cup!!! I haven't been able to put it down since I bought it.

I felt like having a burger and fries. Johnny Roger's was the choice. I had the Wagyu smash burger with fries. Price was a little steep, but what the heck. After a short wait, the order disc started vibrating. The burger and fries were good. My burger had two patties with a slice of cheese on each one. I did like that. The bun was good, it held up while I was enjoying my meal. The patties were very thin, but tasty and enjoyable. The fries were pretty good. I didn't get any seasoning that I could tell, but that's ok. Gibson Mill Market food court is actually pretty good place to hang out it seems. Who doesn't enjoy a burger and a beer (High Branch and Cabbarrus breweries are on site). It seems like a great place with plenty of things to see and partake in. It has a great vibe for sure. We would probably visit here again when everything is open. I would eat another burger here honestly.

I waited 40 minutes for a bbq sandwich, "French dip" cheesesteak, and Mac and cheese... If an order at quick service is going to take that long it'd probably be best to stop taking orders at a certain point, I had somewhere I needed to be. Once the food did come out my French dip cheeseteak was cold to the touch... wasn't even under a heat lamp, the cheese and meat looked sad. And so was I. Oh and the Mac and cheese was an extremely small portion, last time we came it was served in a large container, it was about $4..

The guy that took our order was super chill and even gave recs for the spice level my group and I should get. All the food took about 10 mins to be prepared. We were able to grab a seat in the dining area while we waited. We got a variety of sliders, tenders, and fries. All the ingredients were fresh ingredients and the fries were crunchy and seasoned well. I appreciate that they don't skimp on the sauce if you need more. Glad Dave's are nationwide, bc this experience made me want to try them again.

I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich combo. Let me tell you something, these fries were special. They were twice fried french fries and are cooked again when you order. So there is a lovely crispy with soft pillowy contrast. i would come back and order fries every time! the chicken sandwich was a little of a let down since it suppose to be the star of the show. It had a nice kick of spices but i didn't find a lot of other flavors. the chicken was fried nicely with not too much batter but it just lack flavor beside the sauce. The restaurant is larger than it appears with plenty of seating at tables and the counter. It's spotlessly clean with two all-gender bathrooms. Every worker we encountered was cheerful, super polite, and willing to help. I only waited in line for less than a minute before it was my turn to order. I ordered two Hot Thigh sandwiches to go and then I saw on the order board that they had soft serve ice cream. I just love a good soft serve cone, so I ordered two as well. My husband and I sat down at a table briefly to eat our ice cream cones and wait for our sandwiches to be ready. The ice cream cones looked like they were vanilla, but were actually sugar cookie flavored. That was a fun surprise and quite enjoyable. Soon our sandwiches were ready, wrapped nicely and packed in a bag for us. I was very surprised at how heavy the bag was. We had a long drive home and popped them into the fridge. At dinner time, we unwrapped them and just barely reheated them in the microwave. All I can say is, if they were this good after all that time and being reheated, fresh off the griddle would've blown our minds. I'm not kidding, those were the best hot chicken sandwiches that we've had in a long time. The bun was super soft, they were very generous with the hot sauce and the Duke's mayo, and the not-quite-spicy pickles were very nice touch. The chicken thighs, two(!) to a sandwich, are fried perfectly with a flavorful thin batter, not too thick, and the thigh meat literally melted in your mouth. It was probably the most tender chicken I have ever had. Seriously, you have all got to try this place!
