Since Harris Teeter has moved to the new current location, I almost want to give a 5. Yes, I might be a high maintenance customer. I love shopping at Harris Teeter now. Was that because there's a competitor of Walmart across the road. . In deed Walmart also has improved a lot since more new development along HW16. The new Harris Teeter is very impressive with new look. Their customer service is very good. I love their lunch counters for their choices, price and quality. It's just a few times, I was late and all trays were empty. One thing I really really love is the bakery department. They have 1/2 a cake available with a nice plastic box for me to carry to friends' house. Their cakes are super delicious, just like where I was grown up in old Hong Kong, European style, a lightly sugar fresh cream but not traditional Americans heavy sugar icing that I threw away everytime. The sponge cake base is so soft and close to puffy tastes super delicious. I can't recommend which is the best because I've had their lemon cake, Cheese cakes, others & yesterday the big fruit tart, all are delicious. Everyone said they love them. Good job bakers ! This Harris Teeter is beautiful and largest I've ever seen. They have an actual Wine & Bar section with closed captions TV. You can probably seat at least 25 ppl! The Sub section had a long line and was short staffed. But Manager Eileen stepped up and was making Subs with Cece and the line was gone in minutes. Eileen is truly a good leader. I will drive 18 miles to shop here again. read more

This location is my primary for groceries and gas. We don't use the pharmacy because it's. If in the TRICARE network, otherwise we would. The staff is usually very friendly. We like that they have fresh food like sushi, subs, pizza, a hot bar and salad bar. There's also an alcoholic beverage bar that usually has a good selection of local beers to try, maybe before you buy a growler or six pack to take home. Unfortunately, the bar manager, Brian, seems to be either hot or cold. He can be very friendly (to other people), or he can ignore that you exist. The latter has happened to both me and my husband on numerous occasions when we're together, separate, and with or without our kids. It's gotten so bad that I left a note with Teeter this afternoon after lunch. We will keep going to this location, but may not go to the bar when Brian is there. read more

Truly an awesome place to relax with an inexpensive house wine while enjoying the food Harris Teeter has to offer like their sushi, pizza and pasta salads. The bartenders are awesome and I've met some really great regulars there at the bar top. They have trivia on Wednesdays and Music on Mondays. This is Nya! I needed to quickly stop to get some grapes & water for my sons 7v7 team. I stopped at Harris Teeter right down from the field. I asked Nya if she wouldn't mind just running some water over these grapes because I didn't have time to go home. Without hesitation she said "yes sure, I totally understand; moms do the most!" LOL She did a REALLY good job & took her time. That was so thoughtful!! I'm also sending a note to management at the store & to corporate. I hope it doesn't get her in trouble. Stopped by for my routine grocery trip and had some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. Nolan, one of the cashiers, was extremely friendly and kind and was very engaged with the customers in his line. I have been here many times and had the "normal" experience of checking out with the normal "paper or plastic yada yada yada". Nolan spoke to his customers as if he was speaking to a friend and was very attentive to each customer and went above and beyond in his job. I hope he is recognized for his hard work and what he brings to the team over at the Riverbend Harris Teeter location. I hope others are able to experience his kindness! read more

I'm always a fan of the Harris-Teeter chain of supermarkets and this one is a great example of their implementation. It is clean, bright, well-stocked and the associates working here were great. I did a full shop here as it was on our way home from vacation. Deli, produce, dairy, frozen, all in great condition. This is the best Harris Teeter ever!!! You need to go there just for the experience. I told my wife when I first went, I could tell she couldn't appreciate what I was saying. So we went together and she was blown away! It is super nice. And I really like the Event Station. With something being cook fresh everyday. Wednesday is lobster meals and they were cooking those things left and right. They have a wine bar and so many stations. Still not a fan of having food out in the open for self service, especially with today's climate. But to each his own. Just check out this location. You will love it. read more

I usually love shopping at Harris Teeter. However this is the 2nd time I have come in contact with an employee,Billie, who was very rude, the same employee. When spoken to she ignored me, after the transaction when I said have a nice day she ignored me. The first time I said maybe she was having a bad day. The second time was 3-4 weeks later and the exact same thing happened. Overall the store is clean and the majority is the staff are helpful and pleasant. This location is closest to my home and I stopped to retrieve a couple of items I forgot earlier. I had noticed no one was in line at customer service. The cashier ---Halle-- made it clear that she wouldn't check me and proceed to point to registers lanes of customers being helped. She stated "there are lines scattered around to check you out". She walked away from behind customer service into the store passed check out leaving customer vacant. Go to the Denver location their customer service and professionalism is far better. read more

Love love love shopping here. Everything is FRESH. Juice, sushi, subs, pizza and even draft beer and wine at the bar. Butcher on site is very friendly and always willing and ready to help. All isles are clean and organized. Cashiers are very polite and helpful. Never been here and been a long line. Always in and out. Excellent excellent excellent wine and beer selection too. One side. Double check your prices that are marked on sale they don't always ring up at the sale price. It's happen twice this week for me. Just let the cashier know and they will adjust the total. read more

Things have gotten a lot better of late at Harris Teeter. The wing station and soup bar have reopened. I was told they were gone for good, but I'm happy they are back. I picked up some wings today. The pizza bar has been awesome, although I miss the burger option. Still disappointed in the cheese selection as they cleaned house to exclusively offer the Murray brand owned by parent company Kroger. All one stop shop!!! This new Harris Teeter location is across the street from the old one on Mt.Holly-Huntersville Rd BUT WOW!!! It is Harris Teeter 2.0! There is everything you could want including an actual draft bar with big screens showing sports for the spouse who wants to wait while their significant other does the shopping. There is a fresh juice bar, pizza bar (create your own), burger bar, fresh seafood, deli and soooo much more. There is even a lavished pet area with dog/cat beds/toys/treats! No need to go anywhere else, I promise you will he just as impressed as I was! read more

Placed an online order for pizza which was not ready when I arrived. The pizza maker was so rude. I got sworn at and had it not been for a manager holding her back I probably would've gotten assaulted too. I don't expect to be talked to and treated in this manner. I hate that I don't have a Harris Teeter this size on my side of town. Anytime I'm visiting my sister I have to come here. The bar, the food options, the aisles, everything is neat, clean, organized and in stock. The self checkout is constantly moving no matter how busy it is. I'm only giving 3 stars because this HT suffers from the same shortages my neighborhood store inDallas does. While this store is multiple times bigger then my local store, on a Thursday they have half empty salad sections, no power greens, no freshly baked bread, subpar bakery section, and few eggs. They do have a beautiful butcher shop and fish market. I just wish they worked harder at stocking staples. read more

Like this Harris Teeter alot. Super clean, super new and lots of things priced fairly. What I dont like about this Harris Teeter...the amount of dusty looking Luke Combs wannabes walking around with no masks on. Also the dark skinned manager shaped like a bean bag chair with a pissy attitude. I get it, nobody over 24 really wants to work at a grocery store, but damn atleast be nice.
