It's a QuickTrip. I always wonder what to say about a chain convenience store. I make a point at using QuickTrip over other gas stations. They are absolutely consistent, and typically have less expensive gas (if you use the app, it is a tremendous discount that adds up). They are alway clean and well maintained. This location, true to their consistency, is like all the others. :-) I could literally copy and paste this review to every location, because their absolute consistency is practically a trade mark. Sadly... They have decent coffee, but few-to-none sugar free flavor options, which is a ding on them. read more

The new drink machines are pathetic. The tea is out every time I go in there. And diabetes knocks out most of the soda, plus I don't like the taste of diet. They don't care. Happens over and over again. Literally used to go in there EVERY day, not anymore. Buh bye! read more

My go-to gas station and convenience store because it's always well lit, clean and a safe place no matter how late at night I go. No pics but if you've seen one you've seen them all. Look for that big red and white QT sign, it's worth the wait. Speedy service and friendly, patient cashiers. read more

We've been in this quick trip three time since it's across from our apartment but we hate it. Today September 15th 2021 at 3:05 we went there and the gas pumps were not working. My husband went in to pay for the gas and the only person that was available at the counter was on the phone and instead of putting the person on hold they shook their head that the pumps weren't working when he asked, said in annoyed voice and pointed that there was another Quick Trip about .8 miles down where from we were. Never once did she get off the phone apologize or something, talk to us in a nice way she was only rude and mean. Also we've been in there twice to get some of their food from their kitchen and the subs were or pathetic with little meat little veggies and tiny squares of cheese plus again they gave us rude service and the chicken wraps had ground chicken and were tasteless. I don't recommend this quick trip at all. If you can avoid it at all I would or at least avoid going in to the store. I would go the extra .8 miles down the road on 87th street to the other quick trip where we've always had good service and the food is excellent or as good as gas station food can be. read more

This is possibly the best QT in the KC metro area. The interior is spacious, with plenty of drink and on-the-go meal options, including condiment bars. I like the fast service, the good prices, the plentiful and friendly ("see you later") staff, the QT kitchen, good auxiliary parking, and the free air. These guys and gals rock! read more

Pissed at the QuikTrip on 87th and Farley. So my fiancé went in to get a bag of ice and tried to pay with a $10 dollar bill, and they told her they couldn't give her back any change? WTH?? So she's gonna have to spend exactly 10 dollars by the penny? Or use a debit card for like $2.50. Not gonna happen. He sighted a "national coin shortage". But when we went to the liquor store right in the parking lot next door, they had no problem giving us back coin and dollar change for ice. Will NO LONGER BE PURCHASING ice here any more. read more

Loving the new Quiktrip. Cleaner, faster, friendlier it seems they have taken the advice of customers and revamped the quick trips. This one seems to be forward thinking. Easy access from 87th St. The one-way entry is a little odd but once you get used to it it's fine. You will find the same friendly staff and same good service. The drinks are still cheap and the food is still hot and ready to go. Not that I like eating gas station food but occasionally one has too. I would recommend this Quiktrip to anyone for a fill up or a quick drink and bite to go read more

This is one of those new super QT's that I am absolutely in love with. I love the space and the increased options over the regular stores. Needing some caffeine for a day of homework, I decided to stop and grab some iced tea from their huge variety of tea options. They have about 6 different options, plain or flavored, sweetened or unsweetened. I tasted each of the unsweetened flavored options and really couldn't taste any fruity deliciousness in any of them, but as a brewed tea overall, they are pretty solid. I am not sure if the night crew played a joke on the day crew and switched bags on them, but the flavored teas need a boost. Normally I drink decaffeinated iced tea and would love to see some place that offers it besides my kitchen. I also noticed today that in the tea area they have a selection of lemon/lime aids. Like all QTs, the employees are friendly and efficient, the store is clean. read more

This brand new QT opened last week and all I can say is WOW. I've seen this "model" of QT before but usually out on the 435-type hinterland locations. They have a separate coffee bar, a hot dog bar - it's like a 7/11, actually. Lotsa gas pumps so even though there's a ton of people there you can usually find a spot before too much of a wait. QT is the cream of the crop when it comes to gas station/convenience stores. They are clean, efficiently run, well stocked, big and champions at roller foods. There are different types of QTs, the best being the "Phase 3" design. This location is just that. What is phase 3? It means this place is bigger and better than even the normal QT. There are walls of soda fountains, slushy machines, an large island of roller meats rolling their way to deliciousness, a kitchen churning out mini pizzas and kolaches, walls of coolers always stocked, and all the snacks you could possibly want. QTs are always loaded up with cashiers who keep the lines moving (lines... these places are always busy) and more workers keeping the shelves stocked, etc. There is plenty of parking for all the comers and goers. QT is the best in the gas station game and this location is one of the best types. Thumbs up! read more

Who doesn't love QT. This is one of the newer ones that have evrything. You want ice cream ?they'll make you one just the way you like it. You want a hotdog with everythinh on it? they have that too. So if you're in the area and need gas, a clean restroom, a snack, or drink make this your one stop shop. read more

I've traveled all over a few state region. I would go out of my way to hit a QuikTrip because I could count on good service. Clean bathrooms are a must. I don't travel as much now but I still only hit QuikTrips. I'm loyal to them. I work outside down the road from this one and the bathrooms are typically trashed. The paper towels overflowing from the trash and on the floor, empty paper towels dispensers, and nasty toilets. Do the employees wash their hands before returning to work? Hmmm. I've even told the employees and the only thing I got was an eye roll like "who cares". This is consistent over the last 6 months. Hopefully this will get someone's attention to address it. read more

This new Quik Trip ROCKS!! Not only do the live up to the awesomeness of Quik Trips everywhere but they have it ALL! Pros * clean clean clean * warm soft pretzels? Yum, yes please. * the donut case that seems to scream my name as I look the other way * always three or more cashiers that put the "quick" in "Quik Trip" * huge selection of fountain, deli, roller items, snacks, etc. * did I mention clean? even the restrooms *great location of the bagged ice, right by the door and built into the wall. huge supply of it too. In the summer when you're out and about and need to fill your coolers, it makes it super handy * built in metal picnic tables outside with tents * always busy but always open parking spaces * doors swing both directions so you're never looking crazy * always open * the cashier station is in the middle with roller stuff and fountain on one side, order area in the middle (soft pretzels take a little time but YUM!) and then the tea and misc drinks on the other side. It works well to divide the folks out. Nice design. Cons * an odd "enter only" drive that always has people going the wrong direction and mucking up the flow (yes, I did it once too) read more

This specific quick trip was very slow and the man making the food called me an idiot because the lady handed me the wrong order. the grilled cheese i ordered was not up to par either it had too much cheddar cheese. read more

This is the new QT on 87th Street and man-oh-man, what an improvement over the old one. There are more gas pumps and they're laid out in such a way that you don't worry that you're taking your life in your own hands when you enter the parking lot. There is ample parking in front of and on the sides of the building. This is a very large store in comparison to most QTs and is well-laid out with duplication of some items on both sides of the store to make convenience truly convenient. There is an area where you can get specialty coffees in the back, although I haven't sampled them yet. They always have fresh fruit that's not past its prime. Checkout is always fast and friendly. It's always spotless in the store and everything is so new that it practically sparkles. QuikTrip hit a home run when they designed this store. read more

This QT is amazing! The restrooms are really clean and they provide clean tables outdoors to eat on. They have plenty of cashiers so long lines move really fast. The pizza is good too! This one has several ways to get in and out so that helps with traffic flow alot. I am most impressed with the cleanliness of the entire facility! read more

QT is always better than the other gas stations. This one is one of the better QTs in Kansas City.

The Quik Trip right across the street from the library on 87th St. me and my wife live very close. We started eating their ice cream twisters about a month ago. We would go about twice a week , they are very good. They started out being a full cup of ice cream mix , usually up into the lid. Lately they have been getting less and less. Tonight was the worst. They usually put the domed lid on the cup to make the product. The server tonight just used the cup and did not spill a drop. When he took the cup off of the mixer there is usually a hole in the center of the ice cream, tonight the hole went all the way to the bottom and he tried to fill it up with the chosen flavor. He then put the lids on which made no sense because there was nothing for the lid to contain. My wife said that I should have complained but complaining about prepared food is not the best thing to do usually. I have chosen the alternative, we do not eat ice cream treats from Quik Trip anymore. I will drive to Dairy Queen. read more
