I stopped in here to get a drink refill. While I was there, I made used to the restrooms was pleasantly surprised to see how clean they were staffing was great very friendly a little bit of banter always a nice thing. If you haven't been to a quick trip, there are a lot of drink options. Even a way to add cherry syrup or vanilla syrup to your soda. They have a lot of grabbing go snack. Options in the store was very very clean. Even the outside was kept very nice and tidy hardly could see any trash or grime anywhere by the pumps or out in front of the store. When I lived in Chicago in the late '90's, I had a co-worker that had also re-located from Kansas City. We sort of bonded because we always had something to talk about - Chiefs, BBQ, Royals...but the thing that we agreed upon the most was how much we missed QT. The White Hen Pantry's in Chicagoland couldn't hold a candle to QT. Flash forward 20+ years and QT's are still evolving and staying at the top of the convenience store game. Now I can not only get the C-store basics, but a pretzel with garlic butter, a white chocolate frappe', a salad, competitively priced gas and FREE AIR! They also hire and demand a staff that can keep the line moving. The occasional few times that they have screwed up or exceeded the time to get your food or drink to you, they are quick to hand out a free drink coupon for next time. During the Covid - 19 pandemic, they have kept the lights on for us essential workers and done so with class and a willingness to put themselves on the front-line. This review is for the Riverside location since I'm here the most, but extends to all in the area. Over and over this qt has no fresh brewed tea. But they will be cleaning the floor empty the trash or today stocking motor oil or standing around. I have complained at least 10 times . It's just that simple. QT is a great store. Clean, nicely maintained and the staff is friendly. I have been coming to QT for years. If I have ever had a problem, it was appropriately addressed. I've sent the manager a notecard with compliments on service and they always personally respond. Every time I have written to acknowledge positive staff interactions, they have mailed me free drink coupons. I can tell they value their customers and strive to provide top notch service. This is not a store where you are going to find all your groceries. They have staple items to hold you over until you get to a real grocery store. This is a store for chips, gas, snacks and gum. The quality of their food- hotdogs, pizza- is consistent. They also have yummy pre-made sandwiches which are fresh and delicious. Sometimes I get a yearning even for their ham and cheese from the cold case. Prices are on par with other stores of this type. I like that they have a card you can use if you don't want to charge your gas. I am trying to pay off my credit cards and QT let's you pay cash for gas without pre-paying. The worst thing about living in NYC as a KC Native, was not having a QT around the corner. Sure a bodega could suffice in a pinch, but you can't beat QT. We made the mistake of going to a Casey's on a roadtrip, instead of waiting the extra hour to get to the QT. Biggest mistake ever. Casey's doesn't great you, doesn't smile, the bathrooms are dirty, there isn't even a breakfast burrito. You walk into QT, and you are literally in and out in 2 min flat, with every want and need completely satisfied, some needs you didn't even know you needed. Took a pit stop to use the restroom. Urinals were disgusting and appeared not to have been cleaned in a week. The smell was horrible. Normally they are cleaner than that. I love making my stops to pick up a drink and snack and use the facilities. Today was awful. Hoping they will read this and fix it. This is prolly one of the best quick trips/gas station/mini mart I have been to. They are fast but at the same time you don't feel rushed. And they are really nice. And as far as qt in general they are really take the whole healthy life style to heart. There health section has everything from water to Naked to fresh fruit etc..... I was at the counter with soda and cash in hand, and the only one waiting, the girl finishes with customer and a friend or frequent customer walks up beside me and she blew me off and waited on her. It was no mistake and she knew i was frustrated. It took approximately five minutes for her to chat, sell her beer, chat, smokes, chat, pay and more chatting. I handed her exact change didnt get apology or thank you. It was all i could do to keep a smile on my face and thank her. She needs much training in customer service! read more

Qtrip has been around for many years. They are always the place I stop at. Gas, drink, snacks whatever it may be. But lately I have been very disappointed in them. I thought their stores where considered private property? So why do they allow people to get arrested in their parking lots? Ive seen it twice now just within 2 weeks time and I think it is totally absurd. Take your business else where not in public display in a public private place.
