Upon my entry a young man spoke to me. I told him I had glanced at their menu on doordash but had no idea what I wanted to eat. Give me a little time to review. I had to say something their prices are a bit steep and their are no combos. Each item has a price. He informed me Nation's is based in California and their prices were brought herec to Texas . The food is made when ordered . The restaurant was spotless nice and clean. There were less than ten people enjoying their food while they converse with others sitting at their table. The young man returned to the cook top and his colleague Raquel smiled and took my order. Raquel handed me a regular size cup to get the drink of my choice. I ‍ walked to fountain station. Filled with "sonic" not too much The drink I chose was pink lemonade . I didn't time how long it took him to prepare my meal. I guess around 10 minutes give or take. I left the restaurant with a popping hot meal . My drive home took 30 minutes . I ate a few fries slowly because they were very hot had to constantly blow on them just so I could eat them. Returned home safely preceded to the living room. Picked up my serving tray arranging food on it. To my surprise my food was no longer hot or warm I just wanted to eat and it was actually good. First Visit: Our order was fairly large: a couple of wraps, Greek fries, regular fries, and a gyro plate. When we got home, we realized both orders of fries were missing. I called the restaurant and was told they would give me the fries the next day if I came back. With the holidays approaching and a busy schedule, I wasn't going to make a separate trip just to pick up fries, so I asked for a refund instead. They said they would "see what they could do." I followed up with an email afterward and was completely ignored. The food itself wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't as good as I remembered from other locations, as the basmati rice was pretty dry. I later realized I had placed the order about 20 minutes before closing (not knowing weekend hours were shorter), so it's possible the food wasn't as fresh as it should've been. Second Visit: I gave them another chance and went back with friends with another to go order. I mentioned the missing fries from my previous visit, but it was brushed off, and nothing was done to make it right. I wasn't about to make a scene over fries, but at that point, it felt like they simply kept my money. To make matters worse, the food this time didn't sit well. A few of us ended up with stomach issues the following day, which sealed the deal for me. Final Thoughts: After two visits involving missing items, lack of follow-up, and stomach problems, I'm not thrilled with this location. It's disappointing because I've had much better experiences at other Stop N Go Gyros locations. Unfortunately, this Forney spot doesn't meet the standard I've come to expect.
