I haven't been in store yet but I did get gas here a few weeks ago and I found them on DoorDash yesterday. I just had to order a breakfast pizza. I got a large veggie+bacon. It was pretty heavy on the onion which didn't bother me but my husband had to add taco sauce to cut the onion a bit. The pizza was hot and fresh even being delivered 15-20 mins away. When Mrs. Dorothy York and Jamie Jackson are in the store - I know for sure: all tickets are restocked and they have everything! Looks like everybody knows them, people greet them by name all the time. Recently they have a new team member - young man, unfortunately I did not ask his name. He is also very friendly, but not annoying (if you understand what I mean). Every time I visit this place, I feel like part of the family.

Dreams officially came true at the Fort Worth location. I was thrilled to finally take the time to experience this legendary Texas institution for myself and I think I spent an absurd amount of time wandering around the store. I looked at everything... then circled back around to look at everything a second time... though I'm pretty sure my friends were very much ready to leave long before I was. And the shopping? Dangerous!!! *Nearly* three digits later, I somehow left with a Buc-ee's t-shirt, a seatbelt cover that I just love so much, Beaver Nuggets of multiple varieties, mints, a magnet/bottle opener, a patch, and honestly probably several other things I didn't technically need but absolutely wanted. Buc-ee's seems to sell literally everything. The highlight of the entire experience, however, was BY FAR getting a photo with Buc-ee himself. Absolutely iconic! Dreams. Came. True. Beyond the novelty of Buc-ee himself, the store was surprisingly clean, well organized, and efficient despite the crowds - so many people! Buc-ee's is basically part convenience store, part gift shop, part roadside amusement park, and yet it all works. If only they had a seating area to enjoy the mouthwatering pulled pork sandwiches they were selling... Anyway, I now *completely* understand the Buc-ee's obsession and can only hope California (or even New York!) someday gets one of their own. Until then, I'll just have to cherish my photo with Buc-ee and Beaver Nuggets from afar.

This is a full on grocery store. Inside they have a restaurant which is really like three restaurants combined. They have a wine and beer center they have a butcher shop. They also have all the sections of a grocery store that you might see such as produce dry goods, etc.. The staff was very nice and friendly, too. I even had one or two of them asked me if I wanted any assistance with anything and when even asked if I wanted him to take any of the pictures so that I could be in them. Most of the staff seem to be on the younger side probably students in the nearby town. I bought some corn nuts and a root beer and filled up with gasoline And then I was on my way. They've even expanded beyond Texas to places like Tennessee and Northern Virginia. Everything is kept clean, especially the bathrooms. This particular location is on the smaller side, so I can't even imagine how huge the larger locations are. There's a wide variety of souvenirs from apparel and home goods to even pet items. Towards the back, you'll find a deli, a wall of specialty beef jerky, tons of snacks, plus brisket sandwiches and desserts, including fudge. We ended up spending a good amount of time here before getting back on the road. You can sample the jerky. I really liked the Honey Jalapeño and Maple Cherry (on the sweeter side). And don't leave without grabbing the beaver nuggets!

It's close to the highway with easy access. There's a hundred gas pumps. There are multiple entrances to the store. Even at 1pm on a weekday, it was BUSY! Inside, there's that Buc-ee's smell that hits you hard. Candied nuts and fresh brisket. And all the other stuff you can see - jerky and fudge and soda fountains and Icees and a wall of candy. It's practically a ritual. Of course, we had to stop to visit the restrooms. Mrs. K. confirmed that the ladies side was excellent and I could see that the men's side was clean. I love the red/green lights to let you know which stalls are available or not. In addition to the fridge magnet, Mrs. K. added a BUC-EE'S ballcap to the collection along with two bags of the caramel drizzled Beaver Nuggets. I'm at the counter with my purchase, and some lunatic starts banging on the window behind the cashier and yelling/looking at both of us. The cashier says "Don't worry about him. He's here all the time." I said "Well, he'd better worry about me if he does that when I walk out." And what happened? Mr. "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" accosted me as I exited the store to the sidewalk. "Give me a beer!" he yelled at me, bowing up and trying to look threatening. "Leave me alone, man. I'll beat your ass right here and now," I responded. So the guy says "Bring it on!" and then circled me and punched me in the shoulder. The teenage me put my stuff down and swung at his face (I missed and hit him in the neck) and then he moved on to the next unsuspecting customer ... just like that. My wife yelled at me after I described what was supposed to be a quick beer and soda run, warning me that the guy could have had a knife. Fine. She had a point. To 7-11: Hire a security person. My boyfriend ordered the caprese toast, and I had the egg salad panini. He noticed that the cheese on his dish had an unusual smell, but we didn't want to make assumptions at the time. Unfortunately, a few hours after eating, neither of us felt well and we both experienced severe stomach discomfort. I eventually became sick and vomited. My sandwich itself tasted fine, so we're unsure exactly what caused the issue, but we wanted to share our experience as constructive feedback. Aside from that, the drinks and service were enjoyable, and we hope this feedback helps improve the food quality moving forward.
