This Pilot is not a big one and parking spaces are very limited. I stopped in for fuel and everyone was just in the fuel aisle not using it. I purchased a Snapple kiwi drink for $3.19 which was very reasonable. The restroom needed some cleaning when I used it but the store was stocked pretty well for everything I was looking for. The other day I decided I was going to stop by the pilot. I have never received customer service the way I have when I went there. I believe her name was Piper? She always wears a hat! She went above and beyond for my needs. I do have to say for any and all customers expectations, Piper knows what she's doing! She was so amazing, kind, nice a professional to me. It costs $0 to be that nice and she does it. I'd be shocked if she didn't get a raise or even a higher position there if not already! I was stunned to be greeted so nicely by her. She's a good one! This place is the best place in town hands-down. If you need fuel it's got it. If you need food, it's got all kinds of food and to top that it has the best and I repeat best pizza in town with tons of varieties to pick from the food is only complemented by the immense amount of beverage selections as you can get from this place as well. They have a coffee machine that freshly grinds organic coffee beans for you to get in your cup if you choose. on top of all of this the staff is friendly helpful knowledgeable always they're ready with a smile. If I have to pick somewhere to eat I pick the pilot if I have to get fuel I pick the pilot if I have to get anything my first thought is, can I get it at the pilot? It's almost like a Walmart gas station makes for the restaurant. read more

Wow I'm impressed. I drive OTR and see many truck stops. This modestly sized travel center FERTILIZES their grass. One guy drives around in his electric golf cart processing all the garbage cans. He's fast and there's no garbage laying about. Clean ladies' room. Adjoining McDonald's has fast service, nice staff, fresh food. Travel center staff are all nice. Easy access from the interstate highway. Will stop by the next time I'm delivering around here. read more

The sign said corn dogs 2/$2.50. At the register, I'm charged $3. I asked why and the manager says $2.50 is for Rewards Club members. Yet there is no sign stating that. That's deceptive and misleading. read more

It's a truck stop when you need one. The McDonald's here is efficient. There is plenty of parking.

I live a few miles away from here so by default I've been here several times. This Pilot is usually busy and half the time there is a long line to checkout. They have a very well stocked inventory most of the time but the problem is they are way over priced on almost everything. I hate truck stops that take advantage of truckers by jacking their prices up. If I was a trucker heading East, I'd keep going till I got to the Quik Trip in Greenville. It's cheaper, cleaner, and has a better parking lot. This Pilot also has a 24hr McDonalds in it which is not the cleanest place in the world usually either. This pilot should have better/healthier food options. All in all this Pilot is a decent convenient store, with almost always good priced gas, just don't bother getting diesel here, because it too is overpriced. Oh another thing, the air isn't free in the car section, but it is for the truckers. What sense does that make?? read more

The restrooms were clean and I found a variety of healthier things to get for breakfast, including fresh fruit!

I am a professional driver and on 12/18/2018 I had stopped at the Pilot Travel Center at 2226 1903 in Caddo Mills, TX. I purchased $600 worth fuel. I walked into the Pilot to warm up my food and while inside I noticed that the store clerk was throwing away what looked to be good hot dogs. I asked the clerk for a couple of the hot dogs that she was trashing. She replied that the store manager advised her to throw the hot dogs away. I said come on you can give me a couple of the hot dogs and she said if you want a couple you can go into the trash can and take them out. I said are you serious? Go to Hell! Then the acting manager Randy Jones jumped in front of me with violence about what I said to one of his employees. He had gotten so irate that he got up in my face yelling and screaming. He then yelled at me telling me that I could not finish my business in that store. I politely turned around and walked away and the stores surveillance cameras will bear witness to what I am saying occurred. Randy Jones then preceded to act in an aggressive manner while following me out of the store still yelling. I walked to my truck without saying a word to him and he began to take pictures of my truck. He then said he was calling the police. I turned to him and said you can't call the police for a non-criminal action. Then I got in my truck and left. Then my employer called me to tell me that the truck and I was banned from that store from purchasing anything. Randy Jones acted inappropriately and escalated the situation by proceeding to follow me outside of the store and calling my employer and the police. The situation was not that serious as he made it to be where my employer needed to be called and threatened with being banned. You do not tell any person that if they want something they can go into the trash and get it and you most definitely do not as a store manager jump in a person face violating their space. I felt harassed and threatened that day and my employer has agreed to pull his account from this store. I never thought in a million years that asking for hot dogs that they were discarding would ever lead to me being yelled at and demeaned like I was nothing. I would like to be contacted about this matter because this is serious enough to me that I have decided to file a complaint against this store with the BBB, Texas Attorney General's Office, as well as the Pilots Corporate office. WARNING: Be very careful with parking!!! If no spaces are available, I strongly recommend moving on to another Truck Stop, Rest Area, etc. I got stuck 3 times in 10 hours! That's an entire paycheck for me. read more
