I was scheduled to have two tests done to determine the viability of a tooth. After the first test, the assistant said it was pretty clear the tooth could not be saved and deferred running the second test, saving me more than $100. Dr. Simon confirmed the result and recommended I return to my general dentist for a tooth extraction rather than going through with a root canal in his office. They both could have run the second test, and I would've been none the wiser that it was unnecessary.
