You will have to pay out of pocket such as a root canal and your medical billing will be considered as out-of-network hence the out of pocket payment is higher. I don't know if this was all agreed to by the practicing offices here in this city but it really does affect how patients are treated and where they can go to for their care.

Every staff member I interacted with was polite and seemed to genuinely care about my welfare. But what stood out to me the most about my visit was the honesty of both Dr. Simon and his assistant. I was scheduled to have two tests done to determine the viability of a tooth. After the first test, the assistant said it was pretty clear the tooth could not be saved and deferred running the second test, saving me more than $100. Dr. Simon confirmed the result and recommended I return to my general dentist for a tooth extraction rather than going through with a root canal in his office. They both could have run the second test, and I would've been none the wiser that it was unnecessary. The next time I receive a referral to an endodontist in Tallahassee, I won't hesitate to make the appointment with Dr. Simon.
