She is extremely knowledgeable about all areas related to quilting. For example, she recognized that the fabric in question was vintage 1930s, and warned us that it was not colorfast. She then recommended products that would help protect against color bleed during washing. Without this information we might well have damaged the quilt simply by trying to clean it.
