They have an extensive drinks menu, and the staff don't rush you, so you can take your time and enjoy the scenery. I especially loved the cappuccino frappé--it was so good I ordered it twice! The only letdown was the cold chocolate drink, which was quite underwhelming.

It was definitely a different experience but glad we tried it. It was good. We also ordered their coffee while we were there and two guys with guitar was outside the restaurant playing live music. Service was great and they have open space with windows so you could see out while dining. Lot of servers in Mexico City speaks english but we did bust our high school spanish skills too.

I should have chosen the one with chile habañero, but that is sometimes too spicy. The enchiladas in green sauce were simple and good, if a little bland. The Sopa Aguascalientes was served with the ingredients in a cylinder, to which the server poured the hot broth. Again, it was okay, but rather bland and the bits of chile poblano and corn were tiny and few. I prefer soups without cream, but at least the broth, as described, had only a little cream. The meals come as is, no bread, tortillas or salsas unless requested. Service is polite. The ambiance is the best part. The patio dining offers great views of the park and stunning architecture. An added plus is the absence of beggars and unwanted musicians. The vibe is casual, but this being Santa Fe, the crowd is upscale. Given that, the prices are quite reasonable.

The Portobello Roquefort seemed unique and a good enough option for a lunch sandwich. It included Portobello, mezala de queso, another type of queso called queso de cabeza, Dijon mustard so delish, and lettuce. The restaurant is set-up very elegantly, and the service was right on par with the ambiance. Not a detail was overlooked and our dining needs were attended to with great attention. I am almost considering coming back again before I head out. Highly recommended restaurant for breakfast or lunch!

We arrived around 10:30 a.m. and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away even though the restaurant looked packed. There's actually an upstairs area that you can't see at first, so don't be discouraged if it looks full when you walk in. Our group ordered a mix of items -- fresh green juice, two plates of chilaquiles, and two hamburgers -- and everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The portions were generous without being overwhelming, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Service was quick and friendly. Our server was kind, made great recommendations, and navigated the language barrier with patience and smiles. What makes this spot even more special is its location inside a small marketplace filled with local vendors selling everything from clothes and jewelry to organic oils and scrubs. After breakfast, we wandered through the shops and ended up buying a few cute items -- the perfect way to start our trip! Overall, Petit Roquefort was such a delightful surprise -- great food, warm service, and a charming atmosphere. Highly recommend for your first (or any!) morning in CDMX.
