We had a home warranty company that sent their contracted electrician for two incorrectly installed outlets in our kitchen. One for the dishwasher and the other for the stove. The work order gave a detailed description of the problem. We were told the warranty company denied the claim but we needed the work done and the electrician was already at our home. The bill was almost $600 for two hours labor, two outlets and two junction boxes. We've asked for an itemized bill three times but have yet to receive one. We were charged the two hours labor because the electrician did not have all of the parts for the job and we live in a rural area. The warranty company paid the service call. To make matters worse, the outlet installed for the stove clearly stated it was for camper use only and was not even an outlet for a stove. The electrician had to come correct his mistake. Fortunately, we were not charged for the second service call. The work was finally completed and is in working condition, but we have serious reservations about the integrity of this company. read more

They have a couple of good electricians, but they also have ones that were truly lacking in any expertise or integrity. We had to reinstall our electrical after we were hit by a tornado. They had to come out 5 times and STILL didn't finish the job. We finally told them they we would take care of the rest, because we could plainly see that they had limited interest in quality work in a timely fashion. Live and learn.

I kept having a breaker blow losing power to half of my house and smoke alarms. I reached out to Courtney at R-2 Electric and she was able to get a technician out to my house the very same day. The technician was very courteous and I felt comfortable seeing him representing his company in his logo company shirt, the van was easy to identify as being an R-2 Electric company van. He quickly diagnosed my problem, presented me with 2 quote options, I chose the best option for my situation and he fixed my breaker box quickly. Cleaned up after himself. He also made sure all my smoke detectors were working properly before he left. I was sent an invoice to my email with a payment link, paid my bill. I have not had any issues since he was here. I would highly recommend R-2 Electric Inc. to anyone needing an electrician. read more
