The showroom itself has lots of different styles of lights on display to look at, plus a large bar up front for you to look through all kinds of design books and catalogues. In the back, a nice area with a big TV screen allows them to put pics from a computer or the internet up on a big screen for you to look through. Long story short, thanks to the power of YouTube and countless Pintrest pages and others that have come before, I'm tackling fixing up, which includes rewiring, a Power Wheels Barbie Pink Mustang that I found on large trash day. At least one of the motors is shot. I needed some very tiny female disconnect terminals, which will allow me to connect the existing wiring from the battery to two new motors. The big box home improvement stores did not have them, nor did the hobby stores. After a few random phone calls around OKC, I was directed to Hunzicker Brothers. I made a call and after a brief conversation, felt that they had exactly what I needed. I brought in the new motors, and was assisted the moment I walked in. Friendly staff. We were there on an overcast Friday, so they weren't busy. Every employee was masked, said hello, asked if we needed help, and then left us alone when we explained we were just kicking tires. While there are certainly some high end things, we were pleasantly surprised by the prices on some things, like lighting. We found many fixtures that we liked that were in our price range. I'm not sure what more I could ask for in visiting a showroom. I got lots of ideas, as well as an idea of what I can and cannot afford. I left with several catalogues. I was never pressured at all, nor was I made to feel like I was in the way for not being a serious customer, rolling in with dimensions and timelines. That…read moreexperience was fantastic, we were shown only items that fit within our budget and when we needed to compromise on some items due to cost we weren't made to feel like we weren't worth their time. Fast forward go 2023, our faucets developed some flow issues and the plumber we hired to repair them caused more issues than they fixed. I decided to deal with the problem myself and went back to Ferguson to ask for help. Not only did the parts department take the time to find the schematic for my faucet (which is being retired by the manufacturer I learned) but when they couldn't find anyone who had the part in stock they took me to the Business Manager who took my info and said she'd look into it. Due to her help I'm now getting new faucets covered under warranty and she did ALL the work to help me! I don't know if/when we will do another remodel, but our fixtures will come from Ferguson for sure!
