I've used Waggoners for HVAC for years and have always been happy, but things seem to have changed. They came out in March for semi-annual maintenance on my A/C, and what would normally be a 45 min job took an hour and a half. I figured out why when I got an email right after the guy left with *36* photos and videos of my system. First time they ever did that. Overkill, much? That same week I had one of their guys out to give me a quote on a fairly significant plumbing project. I've never used Waggoners for plumbing, but this is a big enough job I wanted to get more than one quote on it, and it seemed like a thing to do. The gentleman came to my house, I showed him what I had in mind, we discussed options, and he said he would put together an estimate for me and get back to me. Days and days went by, and I had just about given up on hearing from them, when the guy contacted me that he had my estimate ready. He came to my house and walked me through it and it seemed reasonable. I asked him to please send me a copy of the quote by email, and he said he would do that. He left me a catalog to peruse, and said he would be back to pick it up in a couple of days. I told him I'd be happy to send it back with their A/C tech who was coming the next day, but he said no, he didn't trust that he would get it back if I did that. Readers, I never heard from him again. I never got the quote. He never picked up the catalog (which, btw, had NOTHING to do with the work I was asking for). I don't know what to think. I have a service contract for another HVAC maintenance, and I'll probably go through with that, but if things don't get better, I'll probably be moving on. It's a shame. read more

Total communication, told what to expect and when. The tech and his helper worked very hard to complete the job and get my tenant going. I used them to make my home ready for a 240V hot tub. I contacted like five electricians before hand because I was balling on a budget, and waggoners was very cheap, giving me a detailed estimate before the sale, while others gave me a range of what it could be(2k-3k). I wanted to know exactly what I would be paying and they new just from the inspection(and it actually was a little cheaper than originally planned because the service was fast). The job was super professional, and it all looks really good. They gave me easy instructions on what order to power off the breaker box in case I need to move the hot tub too. They're super good and would give more stars if I could. read more

We used their plumbing services and were told a hot water heater cost $1400 because of recent price increases. We should have verified that. The exact same model actually costs $700. Of course, there would be a mark-up but 100% is ridiculous. They sent 3 inexperienced plumbers who did not install the water heater up to code. The company refused to give us an itemized invoice even after two phone calls and an email to two separate addresses. They only responded when we posted a negative review which mysteriously disappeared. They sent the plumbing mgr out who was a nice man and experienced. Immediately saw the problems and sent out an experienced plumber. This plumber fixed the mistakes and was also quite nice. We again, in writing asked for an itemized invoice. We received a note in the mail thanking us for using their company...but no invoice. Most contractors will give you an itemized invoice if you ask for one and tell you the mark-ups up front. If they won't you need to keep looking. 1 out of 4 plumbers they sent to our house was capable of properly installing a hot water heater. Not very good odds. read more

Very happy with their service! I was having an issue on a new build where there was a 25° difference in the heat coming out of the vents in half the house. They came out and rerouted several ducts. The system is much better balanced now. No more cold rooms. They did an excellent job getting it balanced! Two weeks later, the furnace started cutting off after maybe 5 minutes running. Of course, it has to happen on a day it's 20° outside. They sent a tech out in about an hour and he determined there was an issue with the flue pressure sensor. He got it resolved the same day and it's been working awesome since! A fast response and resolution!! If you're in a pinch, they get things done and done right. Definitely will use them again. read more

-0 stars. very unhappy with the service and the gentleman Derek Bites? It think that his name. I overheard him yelling at an apprentice about how to rewire a unit that was not working. Dereck told his helper who was having trouble to "stop being such a retard and figure it the fuck out". The helper just seemed to be asking for help and got yelled at and made look like a fool in front of the rest of the crews working. Just terrible service and that journeyman or lead i think it called needs to be demoted down. Doesn't seem to be able to handle The work load. And just incredibly mean considering the helper was being nothing but nice and trying to learn. Will Not be hiring again EVER. Also HIGHLY recommending to all my other business owners to NEVER hire Waggoners. This Dereck Bikes guy needs to take some classes to learn to lead or something. Felt terrible for his helper. Also did not not appreciate them leaving all there trash and driving at 90MPH....just ridiculous. read more

These folks have been nothing but honest, fair and friendly with us. All technicians are professional and knowledgeable. We love them! They helped us when our furnace went out and when our A/C went out a few days ago. They helped figure out how to fix it easily on our own so next time we could fix it on our own. The company responded quickly to my request for a quote to upgrade my HVAC system and promptly showed up for a personalized on-site review. The commercial rep understood my needs and quoted me accordingly. The tech team was scheduled to be on-site just a few days later, they arrived on-time, they did the job well and cleaned after themselves. They forgot to clean the attic manhole door, I pointed it out to the company: the crew came back quickly to finish the job. The commercial rep also educated me on specific home improvement loans given by a local bank at preferential rates: I was not aware of such products that only a few banks provide. I'm very happy with the products so far, looking forward to seeing how this new HVAC performs during summer time when it's heavily solicited. read more

1st experience of estimate was okay, although performance of the product I bought was overestimated and inflated. Installation experience was average. I later had them install a wall humidistat and the tech actually left a hole in my wall. Getting them to come back for service calls was difficult. Would not recommend. read more

Have had a couple of needs, first with an air conditioning unit, then a heating issue, and both were handled easily and quickly. I've set up a service plan with them and just had Cody Easter install a couple of smart thermostats. He was great - installation was quick and he hung around to make sure I had everything I needed. I met the folks from Waggoner's several years ago when they came out to install my OG@E smart meter. I liked them and have used them ever since. I buy their yearly maintenance plan where I pay once a year and it covers the maintenance on my heating system in the fall and on the a/c system in the summer. My system is getting old and so I have had to call them out several times on short notice. Weekend or evening--no problem. They come right out and take care of it. A couple of years ago they replaced the entire hvac system at my mother's house. The system wasn't cheap, but they weren't the highest, either. It came with two years of twice-annually maintenance included at no additional charge. The system works like a champ and it's good to not have to worry about her system going out in the middle of winter or in the worst of summer heat. I plan to continue using them, and when the time comes to replace my system, I expect I'll use them. read more

I will only use Waggoners. They get you scheduled quickly and are prompt in their arrival. Not once did the tech act like he was doing me a favor by showing up. You always get a technician that is proficient in HVAC. They are courteous and helpful and sometimes, if you wish, educational. They also charge a fair price for their services. They tell you what it is going to cost upfront and that's it. No surcharges. Also, I use their yearly maintenance plan. It is a small amount to pay for peace of mind. We are purchasing a house and Waggoner's serviced the AC units. The seller asked us to contact them regarding the condition of the units. We called and they said they didn't want to get int he middle of anything. There isn't anything to get in the middle of. We just needed to ask a couple of questions about the units. We thought we would be new customers of theirs and thought they would speak with us. This is a question about mechanical equipment, no emotion, no fights nothing... It makes us wonder what is being hidden. We do not trust this company. Any other company would have simply provided information as the seller requested. read more

Needed a new central air conditioning compressor outside unit, 20 year old one leaking freon like a sieve. June 2011, get an estimate. #1 Gordon's Service Experts. Came out 2 times summer 2010, charged me almost $300 for about 30 minutes work cleaning the inside coils with something that smelled like burning tires.nice fancy shirts, estimate...entire system $7000+. #2 Sears, total system...$8000. #3 Air Comfort Solutions, inside coil and compressor...$5000+ and pressured to make decision in 24 hours. #4 Waggoners', compressor only...wow,$2700. Tommorrow 9am, no problem. Showed them breaker box and thermostat, gotta go to work just close door behind you. Results, nice composite concrete/foam pad with pretty new square 3 ton compressor set on pad keeping me cool during brutal record setting summer temperatures hotter then the surface of Mars. Thank you Waggoners' and Steve Kish, it looks so nice and professionally done quickly and at a price I could live with. Third time is a charm, nope. The technicians were super friendly, but the office people kept messing up scheduling and then not letting me know. The incompetence of the folks in the office was truly amazing. More than once -- one time this would super suck, but this happening multiple times is incomprehensible to me -- I stayed at home all day waiting, and missed work unnecessarily. Once they messed up scheduling where no one showed up. Another time they messed up inspector scheduling such that that they had to send a team out in the morning to do something, then send them back out to undo it all that night, then repeat the whole same process another day. Their electrician wouldn't get back to me and schedule an inspection for the work he had done. Then a couple weeks later, they fired this electrician, but it took them weeks to hire another one. It has been over two months since the installation date, and the whole thing is still not done. Who knows when it will be. Who knows how the system will work out, but from the installation process, I cannot un-recommend them enough. read more
