We were then introduced to Brian who met us at the house when it was being framed and he began to provide us with suggestions. We enjoyed working with Brian and felt comfortable with his style so we moved forward. Brian is a dealer for Tru Audio products and Nuvo whole house audio systems. His recommendations for these products is where Brian made a couple of missteps. Brian recommended Nuvo without really taking the time to understand our music listening needs. We are Apple Music subscribers and Nuvo did not have a license to access this causing some initial frustration. However, let me be clear: Brian never once wavered from his commitment to ensure we were satisfied. He communicated with us properly and we ultimately chose Sonos as the proper solution. All Nuvo equipment was swapped out and we have been extremely pleased with the end result. The other misstep involved his recommendation for built-in subwoofers for the home theater in our finished basement. This was a recommendation from Tru Audio even though Sight/Sound had never installed these previously. It ended up being the wrong solution as these made the walls vibrate to the point where movies were unlistenable. Once again Brian stepped up and promised to make the situation right. He removed the subwoofers, paid to have the drywall repaired and replaced them with a standard cube subwoofer. We were left satisfied. Even with these mistakes, we are very satisfied with the end result. Brian's integrity along with the excellent service and skill of his installer Nathan made all the difference. They care about their customers and it showed in how we were treated. I would recommend Brian for all your sight, sound and security needs.

We called another tech company who found that the WiFi wasn't set up correctly and interfered with the URC system causing it to disconnect our video. He came with the mount and had it installed in about 20 minutes. In the picture you can see the wires hanging, but I asked him to leave it like that (as opposed to adding a power box behind for just a little more money) because I'm renting my apartment and didn't have time to clear it with my landlord first, but he offered to come back and install one if I change my mind. Ashcraft does some pretty cool stuff like home automation, network security, setting up wifi, theatre installations etc. Basically this TV mount was a walk in the park for him compared to the other stuff ;). Side note, Jordan has a really cool back story and is awesome to talk to- he used to do security networking for the government, and has built this business from the ground up. He's honest, really cool, and even gave my pup some love :).

They will do great!…read more My home internet has been terrible for far too long and it's been frustrating trying to find something else..... the only thing that seemed like it would solve our problems was Starlink...: my husband wouldn't commit to helping me install it and wanted me to find someone who could do it and do it right! I poked around on the internet and I mainly ended up with random companies that were not "local" then I found Next Step Communications... I did their online form to get them to contact me and they did so basically instantly. The best part was that it was an actual person and not an automated system response. Jason & Ryan were on top of it and ready to help me however they could. I asked tons of questions and serval I probably asked serval times. My husband had some questions that I emailed them back and forth about. In no time it was evident that they were the ones that we wanted to install Starlink. The starlink equipment was ordered and the installation was scheduled. My starlink came sooner than expected and they adjusted their schedule to accommodate the early installation Their crew to install was two very nice guys who did a great job. Not only did they bring their booties to wear in the house but they literally had everything they needed in their vehicle. Ive had several different installers that have came to my home over the years and it usually stresses me out because they make an absolute mess and they have zero respect for your clean home and nice things. BUT Next Step Communications did a great job on the installation of my new Starlink service! The service requested was definitely completed with 100% satisfaction! It was so pleasant to have this experience with the crew from Next Step Communications. They even had a little shop vac to clean up behind themselves. Drop cloths, ladders of every size, mounts and cords for the starlink to adjust to their needs for this particular project.
