If 6 stars was a thing, I would rate R&B tea 6 stars!!! This location is the absolute BEST place for boba in Pearland! The tea is always perfectly brewed, the options are plentiful, the atmosphere is great, and most of all the staff is always positive, pleasant, and hardworking! If you have never tried boba or don't really like it, they have many options to choose from! Their stormy drinks are a perfect blended option for a sweet treat or for the kiddos, they have a wonderful Hawaiian green tea with fresh fruit, and if you love coffee I highly recommend their Vietnamese ice coffee! On top of all of that, their prices are MUCH more reasonable than any other boba spot around! All reasons why I can't stop coming here!! Give it a try! :) read more

R&B Tea - Pearland is a great addition to the area! I love how convenient it is coming here instead of the busy Bellaire location. Walking in, this R&B Tea is cool because it's connected to CrunCheese which is a Korean corn dog place. There's a good amount of tables and seating. As far as drinks goes, I love almost all of them honestly. I will say R&B tea is more expensive than most other tapioca shops, but there's a higher quality here too. My favorite drinks are taro stormy, Thai tea stormy, avocado stormy, Hawaiian fruit tea, mango or passion fruit green tea, and so much more. It just depends on the mood I'm in. The boba itself is always consistently the right texture too so that's a plus. Overall, R&B tea might be my favorite boba shop in the Pearland area. I have been here few times every few months to try to out but this is probably my last time. Drinks are not consistent in flavor it's bland , boba are fresh one day, hard or undercooked. They serve food at r&b tea now, and ordered some to try. My child doesn't drink any of the drinks off the menu, I requested cup of water, they told me it's 50 cents... I said that's fine, because I get it cost of material. Then I was told sorry they don't offer cup of water, I need to buy bottle of water. Only the Korean hotdog restaurant crunchcheese (the station next to them) is who sells water by a cup. I get the separate entities, but R&B food was cooked in Cruncheese kitchen! Make it make sense. It's just water that had to be so complicated. I specifically requested no spice, plain. They seasoned the popcorn chicken and said will it be bland if we don't seasoned it. My child won't eat the spice because they see the color it's red means spicy to them. They kept arguing with me it will be bland, I'm aware it will be that is why I requested no spice. Happy to see the boba tea scene finally making strides in Pearland. Decided to switch up from my basic milk tea routine by trying the lychee green tea with aloe vera this time. I'm glad I did! Great option if you're looking for something that is not overwhelmingly sweet, Customizing it to 50% sugar did not make it taste watered down in my opinion. I'm seeing a handful of reviews mention that not enough boba was added. While I can't speak on that, I can vouch that they did not skimp out on adding lychee to my drink. Lots of seats, easy parking, and lighthearted wall decor. The book wall is fake, but there's a miniature self-service book exchange as well. My daughter's favorite is Hawaii fruit tea, taro stormy. We decided to try something different today. We had Oreo chocolate stormy and strawberry horchata. They are very good. Got the oolong tea. It was okay. I like the texture of the cup. They share the space with a Korean hot dog business. There are letter magnets along the wall so you can create words. The only seating that fits 2+ people is the table on the side. They should consider adding bigger tables so people can hang out here together. read more

The place is really cute! they share a space with CrunCheese Morean corndog place. they offer happy hour between 1-4 Mon thru Friday! check my pic for more details. Did you know most places that lets you modify sugar usually uses a type of simple syrup? lychee is a syrup concentrate and already sweet so i also confirm with any boba places if they add simple syrup as additional sweetener. Cut out some sugars and save calories for the hot dogs next door! The bobas were chewy with a little sweetness to it! pieces of lychee fruit can be seen floating inside. Green tea has a good strong flavor profile which i love. I want to taste the tea not flavored water lol. Service was excellent. Barista who took my order was knowledgeable and sweet. Def one of my favorite tea shops at the moment. Drink of choice is Hawaiian fruit green tea and it comes with fresh fruit (slices of lemon, lime and oranges and also watermelon spears inside). So delicious and refreshing. Full sweetness is a little too sweet for me so we often opt for 50% sugar with no toppings. Service was great and they had my drink out in a jiffy! I got the oolong milk tea w boba- I wasn't a big fan of the boba taste/consistency - it wasn't as springy as I'd like. The milk tea was also average. 90% of the reviews listed here (as of Feb 2022) are for Ding Tea, which was this location up until a couple of months ago. (#1) R&B, a chain that is primarily in California finally made its Houston area debut just at the tail end of last year and I can't say it was better than its predecessor. Average drink selection overall and certainly works well in a pinch. The classic milk tea is the best drink I've had here. There is a subtle sweetness and it's smooth to the last sip. I don't want to consider it a benchmark drink, but I do feel in some way that all boba spots should have at the very minimum a decent milk tea. I would also say their Vietnamese coffee (bonus points for cheese or ube foam) also gets a thumbs up. I would really expect nothing less for this area. However, there were some (#2) misses and miscues. The thai black, winter melon green, and jasmine milk teas were surprisingly bland. I wouldn't recommend the strawberry or rose oolong as those were no bueno all around. Upon letting the staff know, they weren't sure to make new drinks or issue a refund but they seemed somewhat apathetic to the feedback. I am not one to complain per se, but I feel it's important to inform, especially when ordering so many drinks. At the end of the day, a revisit would really be a toss-up decision. I've tried a few but the dragonfruit green tea with popping bubbles is my favorite. Not sure why ratings are so high. Boba is miss or miss - harder than I'd like, and not sweetened at all. Tastes like chew toys instead of boba. I got the honey black milk tea, which was just ok. I know honey flavored corn syrup when I taste it. It's quite artificially sweet, and for honey flavors you can't change sweetness because they don't use the standard sweetener as other milk teas on the menu. Tea flavor really doesn't come out here. I was so happy when I found Ding Tea! After moving to the Pearland area I had a trial and error with finding a tea place I enjoyed. The first time I ordered was during covid deliveries, the order came during the time frame we were given and the teas were amazing! I've had the traditional milk with boba, traditional milk with coffee jelly, honey green tea, iced black tea with sea salt cream. All have been so good and refreshing! Noticed this place a week ago and said I'd bring my littles because they love tea. The place is a cute little (read: tiny) spot next to a barbershop shop on the Costco end of Business Center Dr. It was relatively quiet for the line and amount of drinks they were making. The line moved fast and people were in and out within 10-15 minutes. Actually, now that I think about it, that isn't fast at all lol. I think I just appreciated the ability to sit at the wall-length bench underneath the groovy bookish wall art, so I didn't mind the wait so much. Opposite the books is a wall of huge Scrabble pieces which are moveable, and near the door is a chest of drawers which holds board games that can be played in-store. Anyway, on to the drinks. The first thing I noticed was how small the cups were in comparison to every other tea house I've been to. The prices were comparable, if slightly higher, but the drinks are smaller. 16oz compared to 24oz usually. That was an automatic red flag for me, but we powered on since I'd made the drive. I decided to get a new to me drink and ordered the Dragonfruit Mango Tea, half ice, regular amount of sugar. It was a complete disappointment. Not only was it cloyingly sweet, but underneath the sweetness was a bland tea with huge chunks of dragonfruit. I didn't taste any mango at all. I can't speak on the drinks my littles got because kids get sugar and think it's delicious lol. My first impression of R&B Tea was kinda meh but I think I'll go back and get my go-to (Hokkaido milk tea) and see if my feelings are different. read more

I'm a fan of bubble tea spots and have checked out quite a few in my day. Ding Tea is one of the newest ones to sprout up in Pearland. This location is in the same shopping center as Cinnaholic and several other businesses. I stopped by for a tea and to do some work. Ding Tea is relatively small so most of the tables were taken. I found the last one open even though it was for a larger group. Like most bubble tea spots, they have a variety of teas, smoothies, and sinkers. I tried the lychee tea with golden boba (which is what they're known for). They're clear and yummy. You can also further customize your drink by choosing the level of ice and sugar. I went the healthy route here. The main issue I had, beyond the cramped space, was that you have several sizes available to choose from. The small is pretty small. To the point where it looks like it's a drink for a kid. Come on guys! Larger sizes that are more in line with other spots would make a difference. read more

I'm a frequent boba tea person. And usually not too picky on my drinks. Ordered the strawberry horchata and the winter melon milk tea. Way too much cinnamon in the horchata...my head literally whipped bsck on my first sip....nothing strawberry about it all...just some purée type jam that settled at the bottom from the last few sips of the drink. Winter melon way too sweet and not much hint of winter melon. Boba was hard but I guess it's from the end of the night batch since we did come around 830ish. read more
