I was looking for my boba fix after lunch nearby and Daboba showed up in my search. I didn't even realize they had a Pearland location. I went to their Chinatown location before remember liking their Shooting Star drink. This location is in a small shopping strip that wasn't busy so parking was easy. I was the only customer when I walked in and both the employees behind the counter just stared at me without saying anything while I looked over the menu. I asked a few questions and got a few "I don't know"s and even a shoulder shrug. Must be the new standard for customer service. I ended up ordering the Roasted Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea. It looked good. Taste wise, it tasted like straight up milk. No taste of tea was present. I'm not sure if it was intentional, but I kept getting big bites of sugar when taking a sip. I was slightly off putting. The brown sugar boba inside was hard and not chewy and bouncy as it should be. Overall, I was not impressed with this location of Daboba. There are way too many options in the area for better service and better drinks. read more

I would say Pearland does not have the best bubble tea places. I went here during its opening and this is my second time back. They charge you a dollar extra if you don't want ice and 50 cents if you want less ice. I would say my drinks are okay, they're just expensive. There's plenty of seating inside and some claw machines. Bathrooms are for paying customers only. Drinks came out quickly. read more

Daboba's drinks are on the pricier side BUT the quality is there every time! My husband really loves their Passion Fruit Green Tea. My favorite is Peach Green Tea. The fruit chunks in fruit teas elevate the drinks to a whole new level! Not all bobas are made the same - the golden boba topping at Daboba is definitely worth, it's chewy and has just the right amount of sweetness. This Pearland location is newer, always spotless clean in the two times I've visited. The service here is great and drinks come out fast. There are plenty of seatings as well. Looking forward to trying their snacks and other drinks when I'm in the area. read more

I stopped by and tried their Honey Golden Pearl Fresh Milk and Roasted Brown Sugar Pearl Matcha. Both were yummy, but the matcha did not taste like matcha at all, more like sweet milk. The drinks came out fairly quickly. Service was fine, but I prefer when you ask for recommendations if the employees provide some rather than saying "oh everything is good." The shop is nicely decorated, with a reasonable amount of tables along one wall. It wasn't too loud, so I think it would be a great place to study and get some work done. I'm always looking to try the new boba places in town! I saw this location a few months ago before it opened and I was eagerly waiting to try it once it opens. This feels like a bit more of an upscale boba place since the drinks are a bit more pricey (by a few dollars) than some of the other boba places I've been to. We tried the mango frappe and the passion fruit green tea. I loved the mango frappe! It apparently is made with real mangoes, mango syrup and yogurt. It tasted like a rich mango smoothie so I loved it! The passionfruit green tea includes coconut jelly and boba in the price. This one could have been more flavorful but it seemed like a nice light drink. We usually get less ice, but they actually charge an extra 25 cents if you do half ice since they need to make a little more of the drink. This part was a bit odd since none of the other boba places I've been to charge for light ice. The medium size mango frappe comes in a plastic jar with a lid, which I thought was unique. I would highly recommend the mango frappe with boba! It starts at $7.25 for medium and 8.95 for large plus 75 cents per topping. read more

I've been here a few times, and haven't been disappointed. It's spacious enough for you to sit down with a few people at a table or go solo! It's pretty quiet, and it's clean inside. I've only tried the Wintermelon tea, and it's delicious. It comes with coconut jelly and boba! It's on the sweeter side so I'd recommend getting less sugar. I've been to DaBoba in Dallas and I really liked it so this was disappointing. I ordered a Roasted Brown Sugar Choco with Boba and Cheese Foam. The drink itself was terrible and mixed awfully. I had grains of sugar in every sip and I the chocolate left a chalky feeling in your mouth. The cheese foam was not dense like most places and felt very light. The boba was pretty standard. I let them know about the quality of my drink and they made me a new drink for free. I got a Thai Tea with cheese foam instead and it tasted very basic/powder based. The Vietnamese coffee was also very basic. It was nice of them to remake my drink, and I do like the cute bear concept they have for their cups and stuff but overall I don't think I'd come back. read more

I've visited Daboba on I-45 next to Hobby Airport which was very aesthetically pleasing, so I had similar expectations coming in. This boba tea shop might be the nicest I've ever seen. Spotless floors and tables, lots of sunlight coming in through 2/4 walls, and a beautiful wooden interior. The standalone seats were also very comfortable. It looks like a simple straw chair, but it provides both a firm, supportive feeling with some flexibility. Brown Sugar Pearl Matcha - I normally don't get matcha since I react poorly to caffeine, but I really liked how its taste infused with the brown sugar. I didn't taste the creamy sensation you normally get with brown sugar milk tea; not sure if that's because I got the matcha or not so I won't fault them on that. 25% sugar actually tasted like 25% sugar (great for people like me who feel that the 100% sugar content is overbearing), and the proportion of ice to drink was not too high. Honey Golden Pearl Fresh Milk - I considered trying something new and getting this instead of a brown sugar drink. I'm glad I didn't. My friend ordered it and it wasn't anything special in my opinion. Not bad by any means, but it lacked any unique qualities that would make me consider getting it next time. I could see someone who likes the combination of milk and honey a lot enjoying this drink. Only significant downfall is how expensive the drinks are. $6.25+tax for a medium brown sugar sounds reasonable at first, but medium is actually the smallest size and fits entirely in my hand. (I can fit size S medical gloves if I had to...) I'm hesitant to take off an entire star for this place since it looks so nice and the drink was good. 4.5/5 stars overall. I can definitely see myself being back here when I need to a place to be productive in Pearland. However, it's not my first choice for boba specifically due to the price point. read more

Daboba is in a new plaza that's about a mile down from Costco. The space is clean and neat with lots of parking. There's a lot of plugs and tables if you want to study or get some work done. Staff were quick and efficient! I got the brown sugar milk tea with fresh milk. It was pretty good, the milk was creamy and the drink was super sweet (I forgot to ask for half sweet). Boba was made well with the perfect consistency. Lots of items on the menu, so I'll have to come back to try something else. read more

The decor is very cute and restaurant is well maintained. I ordered the passionfruit green tea 10/10. It was so refreshing! Included was boba and coconut jelly. I'm not the biggest coconut fan but it went perfectly with the tea flavor. The prices are a bit higher than most establishments but I will be back to try other tea flavors. read more

Missed the soft opening for this place a few days ago, but have been eyeing when this place was going to open for weeks! Glad they finally opened and decided to give it a try. There happened to be 2 people working the time I went, which thankfully during the time I went (noon), there wasn't that much people inside. I feel like there should be at least 3-4 people since the place just opened to prevent long lines IMO and then 2 would be perfect in a couple of weeks when things settle down. Other wise the workers were helpful in helping me understand which drinks were dairy free vs not, which I am thankful for!! I got the Medium 'Authentic Black Milk Tea' w/ honey golden boba, 0.75 sweetness + half ice. Super yummy! I can definitely taste the roast of the black tea which I appreciate. They offer 2 sizes. The staff were very friendly but you can tell they are still in training cause they didn't know which ones would be the best recommended flavor. The prices are pretty steep but the sizes are decent. The tea itself is very authentic tasting and they do follow the percentage of sweetness which is nice because other places don't do that. They give a lot of the boba toppings and I added crème brûlée in my drink because the I wanted to compare to the Alley but it was okay. I also added the cheese topping but tbh it could be more flavor. The presentation is very cute with the cups and the art of bear claw on top for the matcha. The staff doesn't know if they have WiFi but I do think it would benefit them for students or people wanting to chill at (and knowing how Pearland is with signal). I would come again when the staff is more trained... The shop is beautiful since they just open last year The girl with a color hair took my drinks orders was kind, but it seems like her English wasn't strong enough to communicate clearly with customers, since this is my first time been here, I asked her several questions but her explanation was not clear at all, look like she wasn't able to understand the question I asked. When I went in today very excited to try this place I tried to order a milk tea, I asked if I could substitute the dairy milk for oat milk since they had it listed on their menu they can substitute with oat milk. They looked at me very rude and if what I was asking was such an inconvenience and told me no because they premake everything in the morning and don't want to make anything extra. I let them know I'm extremely allergic to dairy and that's why I want oat milk and they told me the same thing, I asked them what could I order then since they don't want to make me anything with oat milk and they gave me 2 options and it honestly just tasted like oat milk and boba nothing extra. I ordered two drinks today. (This isn't my first time coming to this location to get boba, but this is dee first time I've ever experienced such poor service.) And yes, I am aware this place is expensive. I bought drinks which costed me $18 without tip. I normally tip, because I know what it's like to work at a tea shop but I chose not to today. And maybe because I chose not to tip them today, that they decided to do this? Whatever it was, I felt cheated. So this is my reasoning of why I give 1 star and not coming back here again. I didn't have boba inside my milk tea so I went to tell them I wanted boba. When dee girl told me I needed to pay for dee boba, I paid. Then one of dee employers came by to give me a side of boba in a container? I was caught off guard at first but then I spoke up and asked if it was possible to have my boba inside of my drink (...because that's how I wanted it to be in dee first place. Smh) ... I also did ask during my order that I have boba inside my drink and dee girl nodded and confirmed with me that she understood what I wanted. Well that wasn't dee case. One of dee employers, decided to just drop a side of boba that was in a small cup on top of my milk tea drink. I was shocked and then proceeded to ask another stupid question "is there any way you could put dee boba in my drink instead of on dee side?" At this time I was furious. How hard was it for them to fix my drink and just put boba in dee drink? When I asked for a boba milk tea, it should be implied that I want it inside, I didn't expect that they would just give me a small container of boba like wtf? That is ridiculous. I never said I wanted boba on dee side. They clearly didn't care. As I watched them open my boba-less milk tea, I can hear them whispering stuff about me, (it was assumed) I just kept watching them as they pour dee milk tea into a new cup so they can put that container of boba that they had stored somewhere inside and then pour my milk tea inside. At this point I was very much blaming them for their ignorance and arrogance. I decided to tell them to give me that leftover milk tea that they so clearly were going to throw away after they poured dee milk tea into another cup along with dee boba. Oh boy, they didn't want to give me dee rest of that leftover milk tea that couldn't fit into my "new" milk tea boba cup because it was already full. Lmfao. I arrived at 8:49 PM, well before your 9 PM closing time, only to find the doors locked while the open sign was still on and customers were being served inside. Coming from a hospitality background, this is completely unacceptable. If you're unable to serve more customers for any reason, whether you've run out of ingredients or have reached capacity, the open sign should be turned off and the situation made clear. This is poor management, and unfortunately, we won't be returning. We went to R&B tea instead and got their bubble teas. read more
