Left: cake cream choco milk tea Right: Vietnamese coffee with ube

The vietnamese coffee was strong and more than sweet enough at 50% sweetness level. The ube cream was relatively bland however. The people I was with got the cake cream choco milk tea and the creme brulee ube cream blend, which had a strange texture to it, likely from the creme brulee mixed in. The outdoor area was pretty and service was fast. This was a fun boba spot to check check out with unique flavors.

Third time I've been here the last time the cook was not available for lunch. Today came by again, months later again the cook was not there to cook food. So I'm assuming this place is only good for tea only.

Came here to get some work done before checking out the NASA space center and it didn't disappoint. Besides boba, there were also snack options that I would've tried if I had more time. I do wish there were more boba flavors, though, and the tapioca pearls themselves weren't the most flavorful. It is a bit chilly inside so make sure you have a sweater if you plan on staying for awhile. It's dog friendly and they have free wifi, a few outlets by the booths, and a restroom. There's also a small patio outside that has some lawn games, and inside has a few board games too. A very nice atmosphere

This was my first time visiting Cana Tea & Coffee, and I had a really great experience. I loved the atmosphere--it felt very warm and cozy, making it a perfect place to relax. The menu is quite diverse with many drink options to choose from, and the drinks were delicious, even better than many bubble tea shops I've tried before. The shop is beautifully decorated, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely come back again.

Just adorable! I've gone here many times and it's just gotten better every time. Wide variety of milk teas and juices and yogurts. The best Taiwanese style popcorn chicken in the area. If you're just a little patient with the newer folks, then the service is attentive and sweet from the young ladies who run the joint. Cannot beat the vibes with the attention to detail in the decoration. Make sure to catch the holiday decor at night!!

Cana Tea & Coffee is a little difficult to locate. Their prices are decent and they have a vast selection of drinks. I wish they had more boba milk tea flavors. The staff's English could be better, though. Their service could be so much better too. They gave me a regular straw for my milk tea! That's impossible to use when you're drinking boba tea! They didn't even give us napkins. The interior design gives off a old fashioned-tea house with a mix of Asian culture. Cana Tea & Coffee have free Wi-Fi. There's a nice seating area outside where you can enjoy tea as well. Cana Tea & Coffee also have snacks and desserts. Their spicy kimchi ramyeon was delicious. Kimchi is the only ramyeon they have. My companion said her beef Banh Mi was bland. I might come back to Cana Tea & Coffee, I don't know.

Cana tea and coffee completely replaced the teahouse that used to be here. I remember coming in at the beginning of the year to see that they rebranded and trying to reestablish themselves. Not sure if they got bought out or if this is a rebranding but I love the new direction that it is heading! I came in today to find that the interior has upgraded A LOT. I did not recognize this place as they added more personal touches and warmth to the place. Talked to the cashier and they said that they're still not finished with the changes yet. You can expect more changes to come here. Decor was thoughtful and interior was super inviting. It makes me want to come back more often! Now, let's talk about their food and drinks. Compared to the previous teahouse, this too has been a major upgrade! Drinks are delicious and consistent (compared to my first visit months ago) and the food was on point today. I got the thai green milk tea 5/5 perfection and refreshing. Not too sweet and just right. Special combination banh mi 5/5. I am so picky when it comes to my banh mi guys, this is serious. The banh mi was perfectly toasted so it's crispy but also soft at the same time. They were generous with their mayo and pate, along with the fillings of meat and veggies. I would definitely come back for the banh mi alone. I liked it that much. Popcorn chicken (spicy) 5/5. Wow, I don't know how they could've made this even better but the crispiness of the chicken and the seasoning was perfect. The taste is also great and it feels like they used new oil so you can't taste the saltiness of the old batter. I also loved how generous they were when they gave me this order as well. I was so full, I couldn't finish but know that I'll be bringing this home to share with my husband! Overall, amazing experience. I gave them a couple months before coming back to give them a full review, and I am just impressed. From internal, external changes to their menu items and food, they definitely hit the mark on all of these categories. However, because they are new, there seems to be lack of staffing. This wasn't an issue during this visit but I urge everyone to kindly remember that they are also just starting out and this shouldn't be a reason to give negative reviews over. Customer service was excellent despite the staffing shortage. I will definitely come back. Thank you!

Very nice atmosphere. Lots of seatings. Generally extremely quiet with several tables of people studying. They had a lot of interesting drinks combination that were all pretty good. The panna cotta is only 2.50$ it's so good and creamy!

Super quaint coffee shop in the old Teahouse spot. This place is 100x better than the old place! The people running the place are super nice! Fantastic place to study with WiFi. Great snack/food options and their drinks are really good! I got the Yuzu Lemon tea with less ice and 25% sugar and my wife got Viet salt coffee with less ice and everything was great!

This place is so cute and cozy!! I loved the overall vibe there the times I've been! They're so sweet and friendly. Every time, I've gone I've gotten the chicken banh mi and lychee mango tea with lychee jelly! The banh mi is the best I've ever had here in Houston, it hits every time! I also love how refreshing the tea tastes, especially when it's hot out!

Came here to find a new place to study, loved it! So roomy and lots of places to sit with outlets. Service was 10/10 because they were all so accommodating and were able to give suggestions when asked. My bf got the popcorn chicken and korean corndog, and it was really good. Not too salty like most places. Prices were good for the portions. Drinks: creme brûlée taro cream blend 10/10 brown sugar fresh milk 8/10

It was our first time dining there and we weren't impressed with the food. First off, really disappointed at the fact that there were no Banh Mi; I was told they ran out and they would serve it tomorrow. The food was good but it seemed as if there was too much of the same flavor in the same items we ordered. Eventually your palate becomes overwhelming and even cloying. They should offer pickled items like cabbage and carrots; kimchi is a substitute but I can only eat so much of it. The mango and lychee tea was good but I've had better. The trash was full and dirty. They should pay more attention to hygiene. The cashier didn't know anything about the food items and even gave us the wrong info on one of them until a lady from the kitchen came in to explain. The place overall needs to declutter a bit. Christmas stuff still lingering around and it's the end of January. This is a college hangout place. Fair prices, comfort food (no real meals available) and obviously your coffee and tea fix. Unfortunately this is marketed for a different segment than mine. Would I ever go back? Probably not because I didn't try anything worth craving for, even the popcorn chicken everyone raves about. Sorry folks, I'm neither disappointed nor impressed.

Love the tea. It has very very strong tea which I like. But the sweat level is way off. I ordered half sugar 1 time and it was way too sweet. My friend suggested me to do no sugar. Today I got jasmine oolong milk tea and it was still little bit too sweet. I asked for half ice and the cup is filled with lots of ice . I questioned the staff to make sure this is half ice and she said yes. This is more than regular ice at other store. I'm giving 4 stars bc I do like their strong tea. Just hope they can adjust the ice and sugar level to be more accurate

Their bánh khọt was crispy, sweet and savory, and went well with the fish sauce. Although the portions initally look small, they are very filling. The bò né was filling and sizzling when it came out. It also came with a side of salad. The meat was tender. I really liked the bánh khọt and would definitely come back for them. I couldn't have been more wrong. Xeo Yum (#1) as it turns out is one of the most legit Vietnamese places in Midtown serving up some of the city's best banh xeo and banh khot. Located inside of a Food Hall (#2) in the back corner, they have low-key become a destination and without question, the most popular stall in the entire place. The fan base didn't happen overnight but is a direct result of Chef Cuong Nguyen's commitment to quality Vietnamese fare. Banh Xeo is their signature item, which is also known as a sizzling crepe or pancake made of rice flour, tumeric, and coconut milk. The banh xeo holds well, is perfectly crispy, and is nicely stuffed with an assortment of beans sprouts, shrimp, and some of the best grilled pork belly I've had. Another specialty item that doesn't get enough mention is their banh khot, which is similar but has a mini muffin / cupcake like appearance made in a specialty cast iron mold. This version is wonderfully crispy and pairs perfectly with fresh greens and fish sauce with some funk. It is my favorite item here. Some have argued they also serve one of the best bo ne (#3), the Vietnamese version of steak and eggs served in a skillet. The chunks of beef are nice and tender with just a tad of char, served with two fried eggs, and a banh mi baguette with a mix of butter and spare. Normally I think of spam or sausage included with the meats, but Chef Cuong's spin is with cherry tomatoes. It's a different approach and I'm not mad at it. Folks not looking for this can shoot for bo luc lac, aka shaking beef, which is also recommended. The staff here is sweet, hard-working, and very friendly. They also make a mean Vietnamese coffee and offer free iced self-serve water. The prices are what I would expect in a Midtown food hall, and there's plenty of seating. Anyone checking out the food hall need to make Xeo Yum as part of their eating itinerary. __________ (#1) A play on the Vietnamese sizzling crepe, Banh "xeo" and yum" (#2) Previously the Conservatory and now Stestí Food Hall. When I arrived there was nobody dining in the restaurant, that was a bit worrying, but I figured it was a bit early for the dinner crowd and late for the lunch crowd. Food & Drink - 4.5* First up was the noodles, I enjoyed them, but I wouldn't say the hype I'd heard about from some others was there. They had nice flavor, but there just wasn't anything "special." 3.5* Then it was on to the crawfish, and my oh my. Superb, the flavor is delicious and unique. This more than made up for the noodles dish. The potato and corn was good too. Service - 5* Solid. When I first arrived the owner was quietly reading a newspaper and eating his own lunch. He paused to greet me and advised that I could sit anywhere. He provided water and adequate time to determine what I wanted to order. The food came out quickly and he checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok. As time went by, the crowd of folks showing up increased quite a bit and he still managed to check in on tables consistently. Pricing - 4* This is where it was odd. Always subjective but I found the noodles to be overpriced for not only the size but what I felt was a pretty simple dish. The crawfish on the other hand was priced very competitively and made up for the overpriced noodles. I provided pics of the menu for someone to make their own assessment but in general I thought many of the dishes were pricier than they probably should be. I know inflation is certainly killing many businesses and consumers but even these felt a bit off. Overall - 4.5* This is definitely going to be one of my go tos for crawfish when in the area. The flavor is fantastic, the pricing is good, the size of them were solid. There are a couple of other dishes I may try on the next visit. I don't think I've ever consumed so much shrimp paste in my life, so if you don't like that flavor you probably wanna go elsewhere, but other than that everything was just really comforting and nice to eat. My least favorite of what we got was the Banh Bot Chien, and even that was still really good and had a nice crunch. Everything else we ordered was all really authentic and very forward with flavor. The restaurant was incredibly busy on the Saturday we went, with the bustling lunch crowd of both large families and old couples filling up the entire restaurant, so try to go at an off-hour where most people aren't eating. It was just an incredible experience that I 100% recommend to anyone wanting authentic Vietnamese food.

I've been going here for several years, both in person and for take-outs, and they have never failed to impress me. I like to go here for late lunch or early dinner when the restaurant isn't as busy. The restaurant is in the same shopping center as the Chase Bank and Thanh Da Quan. Even though it's located on the far side of Chinatown near My Hoa Market, the drive is definitely worth it. The restaurant is small and well decorated, and the workers are nice. The dishes are a bit pricey compared to other Vietnamese restaurants for the portion size, but the taste and quality definitely make it worth it. Even my parents, who are super picky when it comes to Vietnamese restaurants, love the food at Com Nieu Houston. Like the name, most of the dishes here are in clay pots. Everything is always super flavorful and perfectly cooked. My absolute favorites are the Thit Ba Chi Kho To (caramelized pork belly), the Suon Non Rim To (braised spare ribs) and the Canh Chua Tom (Vietnamese sweet and sour soup with shrimps). I also really love their Com Chien Ca Man (salted fish & chicken fried rice), which I think is one of the best in town, as well as their Ga Kho Xa Ot (braised lemongrass chicken). The Ca Bong Lau Kho To (caramelized catfish) is my parents' favorite. Photos are from my most recent visit.

I never had central vietnamese food before and never heard of most of these dishes. We saw that everyone was getting the three appetizer platter, bun bo hue, and had to try it. I also got the chicken vermicelli just as a classic. But every single item in the bun bo hue platter was jawdroppingly good. I never had anything like it before. I didn't know there were vietnamese dishes that utilized mochi flour and now I can never go back. Every single item was so good. The mochi was cooked so perfectly as every bite was so chewy and soft with no hard clumps at all. The meat that came with them as well were so sweet and tender. The vermicelli plate was awesome too as you can make a wrap with the lettuce and veggies and rice noodles and they all come together to mouthwatering perfection. I found a new spot to hyperfixate on whenever I come to houston.

My favorite appetizers (in order): Banh beo chen, Banh ram it, banh bot loc, egg rolls, crystal dumplings. Personally I wasn't a fan of the paste-y texture of the banh nam but that is a personal preference! Service is not the most hospitable but very quick. We were reseated after spotting a cockroach under our table. But even so I would come back to have this amazing food any day.

My friends ordered the filet mignon and the chicken and they were equally as impressed! I ordered the espresso mousse for dessert which comes out in the shape of a coffee bean. Cuteeee and perfect! This is a higher end fine dining restaurant so you should expect the portion sizes and price to be pretty comparable to a lot of other finer dining restaurants. Overall the food's flavor was fantastic. I ordered the king salmon clay pot. I thought the salmon was so tasty! They added pepper and sauce to the salmon - It was tender and flavorful and paired nicely with white rice. The quail (not pictured below) also was super flavorful and was cooked so well it tasted like beef. The soup was also light and refreshing, similar to a west lake soup. It was thicker consistency and had cilantro and chucks of lobster. The drinks served were also super balanced. We ordered the mojito and the dragon fruit cocktail. The mojito was the right balance between minty and sweet with just a hint of alcohol flavor. For the dragon fruit cocktail, it was very fruity, on the sweeter side but not overpowering and was topped with egg whites to give it a little bit of frothiness. I will say, we are slightly underdressed to enter this establishment. Everything seemed so luxurious and many people were in formal business wear! Keep this in mind if you go! There is a parking deck right next to the location as well, both self parking and valet!
