Tommy from R&C responded to our weekend e-mail first thing Monday morning. Our issue was a water leak in the cooling unit. Tommy arrived 30 minutes later to perform the repair. Very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Tommy explained what the problem was - and the fix. The repair was completed & we were back in business in less than an 45 minutes. I'm giving them one star only because I can't give a zero. The first person who came out, in addition to being rude refused to even touch the dryer, much less pull it out. I was told I should get a new dryer but if not this one needed a new board, almost 500.00. When I set up an appointment for the new boards my daughter left work early to meet the service man, he didn't show and no one called or would answer the phone. I got a text the next day with a story about an emergency and scheduling another appointment. daughter got off work again and a no show. Got another text the next day with basically the same excuse but they would get in touch by lunch. Never heard from them. I hired a different company, extremely polite, communicative and came when he said he would. The dryer plug had worked it's way loose. He plugged it back in and all is good. What if I had spent 500.00 for a board we didn't need or worse bought new appliances. Under no circumstances would I consider using this repair service read more

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience. They asked for models #'s before they went out to see if they had parts, which I gladly supplied with pictures. I received a text from the tech the next day saying he'd been out and wasn't able to do anything but he'd send me the part # if I wanted to order it myself. I replied and asked for the part #. I went there (it's a cabin out-of-state) a couple of days later and could not find any evidence he had even been there. I texted him again asking for a part # but never got a reply. They've since sent me a bill for $117.43 for services rendered. I'm having a real problem with this as I don't even know if he went there, much less did anything. I finally got a part # when they sent the invoice weeks later. I'd already had it taken care of elsewhere. read more

WORST customer service you could imagine! The lady working the office apparently doesn't give a rat's bottom about lying straight to your face! Kept me waiting for 3 days and never showed up despite having confirmed 3 times! Steven, I'm assuming he's the owner, came by the house for the original appt which was booked for 3 weeks out but then no one showed up for the actual repair appt despite having confirmed with the office 3 times! Oh and good luck getting someone to even answer the phone at the office! Apparently they're so busy that answering phones isn't a priority either! Never again!! read more

Oh my gosh these reviews are spot on. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They don't follow through, don't return (or answer) phone calls. Took over 30 days to get a part they ordered and have been out twice to fix our ice maker (not making ice)...worked the day they fixed and stopped working the next day. read more

Our washing machine stopped working and I called this business because we had used them before and been very happy with their work. The repairmen came out and checked out our washer. They figured out that it could be fixed and said they'd order the part. So far, so good. After a few days someone in the office called to tell us that they were going to have to order the part from somewhere else. I agreed to this. After hearing nothing after several days, I called and asked how it was going. The woman who answered the phone in the office sounded a little aggravated and said they would call when they got the part. I waited another week and called again and left a message asking them to call and let me know something. No call back. I called again after a couple of days and left another message. Nothing. It's been a month now since they came out, and I have called a few times, each time being assured on the message that "your call is very important to us," but receiving no call. I am assuming that they can't get the part, but not sure why they won't call to say so. The repairmen were great...but the office communication people suck. read more

Terrible communication and service. Worked on our wine refrigerator October of last year, tech said he needed a part. Left the appliance apart as he would be back soon. it is now April, why wife had numero calls left unreturned. After several emails, they finally responded and said they would be here today. Of couse, no one showed and calls again unanswered today. Now we would be happy if they would just come out it together so we could use it for storage. read more

I have never left a review for any business, but felt compelled to do so after my recent experience with R and C Appliance Service. The bake element on my oven burned out. They sent someone out to look at it and charged $96.00. We were told that they would order the part which should take 2 or 3 days, and then come back to replace the element. After 2 calls and 3 weeks we finally got tired of waiting for them and ordered the part ourselves and my husband fixed it. Be warned I do not believe they had any intention of coming back to fix it. Just wanted to collect the service fee. So, save yourself the aggravation and call someone else. Terrible service! read more

Unethical service. Conspire with landlord to scam tenants. Those guys want to charge $$$ for 5 minutes waiting. And no signature required for their service(aka they will try bill the customer for whatever they want after they leave because the customer didn't sign the repair order). read more

We have known them for 20 years, we moved from Miami and found them to be most ethical, courteous and helpful!

Terrible service. Not punctual, unorganized, poor customer service. They do not have you sign anything at time of service, so when they bill you they add extra charges you aren't aware of or charges they haven't told you about. They said there was a 75$ service fee, no more. I ask for an invoice and get three more charges that weren't even properly described. read more
