I came in today planning to get eyebrow threading for myself and two family members, but after my experience I decided not to continue with the others. The threading was extremely painful and my eyebrows ended up very thin and uneven, with a noticeable bald spot on the bottom where hair had been removed. I paid the $10 for the service but was honestly pretty upset once I saw them more closely. I went back inside to ask if anything could be done to help fix them. They offered henna, which did improve the appearance, and I do like how my brows look with the henna. However, I was still charged $20 for it (originally quoted $30), even though I was trying to correct the result from the threading. The staff weren't rude, but the technician never acknowledged that anything went wrong and kept saying she was following my previous microblading shape. Unfortunately, the bald spot and uneven shape were clearly visible. The henna is just a temporary fix while I let my brows grow out. For now, I'll likely be looking for a new threading place. No photos because I was honestly too upset in the moment to take any. I hope others have a better experience. read more

This is my go-to eyebrow threading spot, so I may be a little biased, but for good reason--I promise! R&G Threading Bar in Fresno provides brow threading, upper lip threading, and henna services. They are usually busy during the afternoon, but that's because the service and convenience is really unmatched. You might wait maximum 20-30 minutes, but once you are in the chair, they can get your eyebrows looking great in ~10 minutes. And for only $10 (as of now)! The shop itself is spacious and there is plenty of seats to wait. It's bright and clean, which makes me feel good about sanitation and upkeep. Highly recommend! Convenient, friendly and so good at threading! We go there regularly and have our favorite threaders but they are all very tasteful and skilled. I love this place. Just go to the bathroom first. If you're there every week or so and wait in line, you're bound to need a restroom at some point. But they put a sign up that it's out of order for customers. I attended a Yelp event at the clovis location 2 weeks ago and liked how much my eyebrows looked that I decided to maintain the hair growth cycle and come back. This location is a bit closer to me. I arrived at 11:25 AM on a Friday morning and there were about 3 people waiting before me and 3 people receiving services. The wait was pretty quick. I had my eyebrows and and my lip done. This was the first time I had my lip done and it was a bit more painful than the eyebrows (let's be honest) but my skin was fine afterwards. Always ask for the aloe Vera gel afterwards as it soothe and calms. The shop is not as nice looking as the clovis location but it serves the purpose and it's clean. The technician was nice, friendly and was talking with me while I was getting my services done. It was done in a few minutes. I did not know you cannot tip electronically so I ran to Smart and Final to get cash back to leave a tip. read more

So fast and easy! I called right before I came in and they were able to take me right away. The lady doing my brows cleaned them up first and asked what kind of shape I wanted. I'm pretty simple and just get a slight arch. The whole thing took like 5-10 minutes tops. She also tweezed a few of the hairs she didn't get and then did a post-lotion on top to reduce redness. I was referred here by a friend a long time ago but had never had the chance to stop by. Fast forward several months and my daughter needed her eyebrows threaded in a pinch. It's in a great location in the Taco Bell/Smart & Final parking lot on First and Nees. Between errands stopped by here hoping we could be seen. They welcome walk ins and get you in and out quickly. Their prices are really fair $9 for threading and $14 for lip and eyebrows. I like that they know eyebrow trends so keep the brows fuller but shape beautifully. The salon was much bigger inside than I expected, and the sweet lady at the counter was on top of assigning distanced seating around the place and remembering & alerting each person when it was their turn (which, sure, sounds normal, but there were A LOT of people constantly coming and going during my visit; I don't know if I could have gotten that straight). Went in on Friday to get my eyebrows tinted and threaded. Mentioned many times that my current brow person does a really good job with shaping but her colors are too dark and since I have blonde hair I need them way lighter but want them visible. They assured me that they had multiple different shades and could make them a light blonde/medium brown color. Not only did the person doing my brows make the dye black but also messed up the shaping of my brows and they are super short now. I hate the way it looks. So upsetting! The original color has faded slightly because I've used micellar water, scrub and a few other things to try and lighten them but they are still way too dark and so short.
