Back in Sept of 24 we asked R &K fencing to do our fence and concrete area. The work was great quality and the value was very very reasonable and better than others and most importantly dealing with them was AMAZING. Very nice , professional and flexible. Because we liked them back then, they were the first to call for another project in March 25'. We had an old shed and we needed to renew the look of that area of the back yard. They demolished the old shed and saved pieces of it to build a storage shed for us in another corner of the backyard. They built a pergola in its place, poured concrete floor and installed nice lights, speakers and outdoor kitchen, which made our backyard perfect for entertaining friends and family. They still have the same professional and friendly attitude towards their work and their prices are so competitive in comparison to others. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in their services. We used them once and this is our second time and we will continue to do so every time we have a project in the house. Ruben replaced the dilapated fence between my neighbor and I. The quality of his work cannot be stressed enough. I just can't believe how straight everything is, truly my first A+ contractor. The wooden fence that they put up is the best fence I have ever seen built. They took those extra steps like nailing the vertical boards together so that they don't bow and end up with revealing gaps. All of their metal fastenings (nails etc.) are galvanized. They really take pride in their work. I will hire them the next time I need fence work. Out of the three fence bids I got, they were on par. The craftsmanship makes them clearly the best choice especially given the fair bid. read more

I requested a quote from R&K Fencing for a 7-foot redwood board-on-board fence, to be built at my home in San Joe, CA.  Brandon showed up as scheduled and provided a quote on site with a fair price (which R&K was one of four contractor quotes - not the lowest price and not the highest price.)  I requested several different, out of the ordinary build material and construction processes, such as: Con Heart Grade B Redwood fence boards and trim (and received architectural grade heart B for the same price originally quoted); 4x6 fence posts to be delivered before the construction of the fence so I could dip the pressure treated posts in Copper Naphthenate wood preservative - yes this is extra protection); 1x4 trim pieces for the top/bottom and both sides of the fence (as this is a "Good Neighbor" fence; Post holes to be dug 3 feet deep with 4 inches of compacted gravel for drainage and then filled with dry, fast setting concrete - domed at the base of the fence posts; and I finally requested the fence, both sides, to be sprayed with a semi-transparent redwood stain. R&K completed the fence with all my requests met in two days (first day fence build and the second day completing the staining of the fence.  Fair price, quality construction,  on-time completion, using top of the line material.
