If I only I could give 0 stars. My very first visit was a creative and detailed experience with Anthony. When I came back the following week for review it was absolutely nothing we discussed. Wrong color backgrounds, added a poem and pictures I never selected, added backgrounds we never discussed. Waiting two hours for revisions and still errors. Told it was "too late" when I picked up final programs. I am highly disappointed and disgusted. I came to them based on reviews....i did not have the same experience as others. $242 for 200 programs. read more

I've used R&L twice. Once for my sister's obituary and once for an anniversary journal (100+ pages). Both times I was very pleased with the final product, very professional and good quality. They have a lot of samples to choose from and they will do what you want. When dealing with people during a stressful time I think they are very patient. I visited the office several times and I think I counted 4 people who were doing a pretty high volume of work. I recall having to send items more than once for whatever reason, but ultimately I was pleased and would use them again. read more

R&L exceeded my expectations. They were able to take my jumbled mess and put together a beautiful program for my brother's service all via email and phone. Everything was completed in a day and a half. They even delivered the finished product to the mortuary. One less thing I needed to do. I used R & L for obituary printing. It was simple because the funeral home used them and we could put the charge with burial with payment coming from the life insurance policy. The process was not hard and they give a huge booklet of choices. The service was okay and it was a wait as they stay busy. The issue was with the final printing. I proofed it and made corrections. However, at the service we find that changes were not properly made to these $700 of color obituaries. MY name was spelled wrong completely. That was a big deal especially after all the time spent with proofing and dealing with arraignments. They offered to print 25 new again ALL were wrong with 100 paid for but I would have to go back there with it. Not convenient with me going back to work. I would NEVER recommend them. They make too much money from direct funeral home referrals (Pye and James Cole) to make those kind of errors. read more

Linda is the manger of the company and she is the epiphany of customer service. I was floored by how she was able to exceed all my expectations on a rush job that was very important to me. Her team completed a DVD/Picture Slide Show, 100 Printed Programs, and three poster boards for me within 24 hours. What was most impressive about R&L and Linda specifically is that they really take their time to ensure your vision is brought to reality. Their prices were extremely reasonable especially for the high quality work they provide. A little know fact: Aretha Franklins family used R&L Printing to produce the amazing obituaries that were given at her funeral services. I used R&L to create and print obituaries for a funeral for a close family relative. First, let me say that the final product is absolutely beautiful. It's just everything you have to go through to get to the final product that was stressful. We went into R&L with a thumb drive containing all of our pictures and written material that we wanted in the obituary, and we provided a sample obituary that we wanted them to use for the format. We talked extensively with R&L concerning the color scheme, preferred font, and layout of the obituary. The saleswoman (although very pleasant) kept forgetting my deceased family member's name and I kept having to repeat it. She also kept forgetting my name, which was also very irritating. I found myself having to go over again and again the details of what we wanted, which is stressful in any situation where you're paying your money for a service, but even more stressful when undergoing the pain of losing a close family member and making funeral preparations. When we went back to look at the proof, it was as if they had forgotten what we had previously discussed and we had to spend more time editing and going over what we had already discussed with them at length. In the end, the obituaries were near perfect and we received many compliments on them but I would recommend R&L ONLY if you are willing to stay on top of the salesperson and are okay with repeating instructions.
