A lovely spot in this little shopping strip. My partner took me here and I enjoyed my time ! They had so many different things - that were lovely to see again and to figure out how to use. The store had a great collection. However customers service was not the best. From the time I walked in the store as young black woman I was followed through the store the whole time by white people. The man was white 6 feet tall and medium build. The woman appeared senior citizen looking 5'7 feet and plus size. While I was with my fiance the older looking woman went by the front door and tested the alarm. Please note another individual witnessed this situation too. The store appears racist towards black people from my personal experience of the close following. I did not see them follow white people/couples that were in store. It is sad and very unfortunate I was treated in this manner. I was raised to pay for anything I wanted and have done that as an educated, successful individual in the community. read more

Honestly hard for me to write this review. I love all antique shops and all they try to accomplish. This one has some great items available and plenty of options. Not the greatest prices but reasonable. The reason for the low review is simple. The people that work here are awful. Mean. Immediately walk in the door and do not feel welcome. Found one item we liked with a sticker attached "20 percent" off. Go to the register and the merchant refuses to honor the sticker price. I truly do lot know how a business with such great competition along the same street as them can survive while treating customers in such an aggressively negative way. read more

I love this spot so much but I also have mixed feelings. For one they always have good stuff, literally the best antique rings I've ever seen in a thrift/antique store. However, the prices here are sometimes kind of steep. If you are looking for something unique I would definitely check it out but be on your toes about how much something is worth. The staff is always accommodating to open any displays you need. read more

If you're going antiquing in Fredricksburg this a must-stop shop, and not just by default because it is the largest. They have such a variety of items: Tons of furniture, jewelry, Civil War paraphernalia, vintage artwork and advertisements, dishes, toys, etc etc. Pretty much anything you can imagine. They rent out space to sellers, so you really must wander the entire store to see what is available. The prices were mostly reasonable, but as is often the case with antiques, varied quite widely. The employees were not overly friendly, but nice enough when I made my purchase. read more

Old town Fredericksburg is full of some of the best antique shopping you'll find anywhere. This is one of the best antique shops in that area. It has two stories with tons of different sections. There is enough variety I'm so that anyone can find something of interest in there. read more

You would think that a large antique dealer such as this would have enough common sense, and respect for the antiques they sell, to NOT put a price sticker directly on the item in the most visible place right on top/front. If they must use stickers, place them on the BOTTOM! I was crushed when even the most gentle, slow removal of their sticker tore off some of what was an otherwise unblemished and beautiful label. It was a piece of artwork on a wooden box, and now there is a partial circle where their label was. Do not trust this dealer that obviously has such little respect for antique and vintage items. In addition, they offer no restrooms for PAYING customers. I understand not wanting everyone drifting in using bathrooms, but I'm sorry, if I'm spending an hour plus in your store AND spending money, and you refuse to let me use a bathroom when I indicate that my mother and I have need, and my elderly mom has trouble walking the 1/3 mile to the only public restroom....I think that says it all regarding customer service. Such a bummer here today. This place is HUGE. So much to look at, we legit spent an hour here. I picked up a beautiful Santa decoration at stall #84, which is right where you come in. Naturally I carried it with me throughout the whole store so I could buy it. The handwritten tag was scotch taped on, and apparently fell off the piece in the hour I was browsing. At the cash register, the cashier asked me to go with him where it came from and check the price. The woman took the piece and opened a binder, trying to find the price. I said to her "It was $12." (When I originally picked it up I said to my boyfriend "can you believe this is only $12?!" So I was 100% positive that was the listed price.) The woman says to me "No, I'm sure it was at least $15." Okay...she spends 10 minutes looking and can't find it, and suggests no alternative. Obviously I could have bought it for $3 more but I was so irritated that I was being asked to pay a higher and wrong price because they didn't have a proper catalog or way to attach tags. And I wanted that darn Santa :( read more

This antique store is like so many of the others in the immediate area, selling antique and semi-antique items. I didn't see much upstairs that immediately caught my eye as being different or worth noting... they did have a large selection of vintage clothing, and two years ago I bought a vintage leather briefcase from that section for $50. There was also a section that had some really cool meat grinders and other antique grinders- for nutmeg, etc. In fact, the antique tool section was pretty cool all the way around... and was reasonably priced. I will say that the basement, though dusty as hell, had a large selection of asian items. They didn't look to be very old, but several were high quality, including several kimonos (I think) and wallhangings. read more

Pretty good selection, prices are a little high compared to shops in Martinsburg, Hagerstown, and Strasburg. One thing to note is that this and all of the Antique shops in the area (there are several within a block in Old Town Fredericksburg) post signs in their window stating "No Public Restroom". As a customer that drove over an hour to get there, this is off putting and less than customer-friendly. The nearest public restroom is at the visitor center, literally a 1/4 mile walk. read more

Excellent customer service. I went to R&R just to look and ended up finding something I liked. Mario was very attentive. He took his time showing me how each rim would look by propping it up in front of my tire. The whole process from beginning to end took less than 2 hours and my car looks great! They also swap out your tires free 2x per year. All in all, my experience was wonderful! Friendly service, quick turnaround, and great deals! read more

I had a terrible experience here. I came to VA on a vintage clothes buying trip, and stumbled upon this place during my search.The freeway had been almost shut down due to a serious car accident, so we got there about half an hour before they closed (at 5 p.m. on a Saturday.) So come about 4:50 p.m., I found a shop in the back that had a lot of vintage clothes. I had about $700 worth of clothes I was ready to buy. someone in the shop turned the lights out, and I had to not only leave the HUGE amount I was going to buy, but I left a magazine I had purchased else where in the dark. To make a long story short, I didn't realize it was missing until I stepped out of the shop. I went back minutes after they were closed but everyone was gone. My friend and I came back the next day to look for it, but we could not find it. I did buy a couple things after all, and spent almost $100 at the same shop, but could not find the magazine. Someone called me back and said minutes after we left, some one found my package. As I had left my address, I asked them to mail it to me. They said no prob. About two days later, when I was on the airplane heading home, I got a call from this store saying I had to pay $10 to get my magazine mailed. I tried to explain to the lady that I mail items on a daily basis, and it would in no way cost that much. I started to, or was going to say that since it was "media" it would cost maybe $2.00 at the very most, but she started YELLING at me on the phone so I hung up. I was seething for a while, thinking that I spent GOOD money at that store, to be treated so badly, and for them to try to overcharge to send ONE vintage magazine back, was all together, unprofessional, rude, and just plain bad business. And last but not least, the majority of clothing in the store was not vintage. Most antique stores do this, and it makes no sense. read more

The staff was super friendly but... a lot of the stuff was replicas instead of antique. some vintage. Downstairs we found a couple of plastic containers from the 1990s that would hardly be considered collectible with a price tag of 5 dollar or more (small glasses, knicknacks, etc) I was especially appalled at the plastic Hershey powder container with the label about 1 tug from being pulled off. the section downstairs looks like someone just cleaned out their home and was hoping to make buck off it (more like 5 bucks off it) read more

I've browsed this store several times. There doesn't seem to be any sort of direction or assignment for sections, which isn't a big deal it just feels unorganized. I've noticed things old, fake looking and practically spanking brand new. Some of the older farm items have caught my eye in the past, but I'll never purchase anything with the way they have items priced. Way too high. Customer service is lacking, and they come off as unfriendly and grumpy. Basement is dusty and you won't find any hidden treasures there. read more

My daughter needed a high school play costume from the 1920's and we found exactly what her drama teacher approved at this store. We found a top with a matching skirt with an evening bag all for $20. The hat was pricey at $24, but perfect for her role in the play. Wish they had dressings rooms. read more

I cannot recommend this antique shop! I am an antique dealer and while visiting Fredericksburg yesterday I decided to check out some of the local antique shops. While browsing through R&R Antiques, I noticed many fake items. Most notably fake Limoges items that were not marked as such. I found a small staircase tucked away in the back that led to a dingy looking basement area filled with cheap merchandise that looked like it was fresh from the shelves of the local Salvation Army. I was able to find a small figurine that interested me that still had the bar code and the made in China label attached. It was marked a reasonable $2. Note that this was the only thing in the entire store that caught my attention as being worth the price charged after browsing for over 45 minutes. I took my small purchase to the counter to check out. There I was greeted by an old lady who was extremely rude. She complained that the item was priced too low and refused to sell it to me at the marked price. I emphasized that it was a cheap Chinese import that still had the bar code attached. It didn't matter to her. I guess she wanted the item for herself. I asked her to call the vendor whose number was #125. She told me that this vendor was the owner of the store and she was in a meeting and couldn't be disturbed. I insisted that she sell me the item at the price marked but she refused. I finally left the store after wasting 45 minutes perusing this dump empty handed. The employees are rude and the vendors sell fakes! Don't waste your time when there are so many other nice antique shops in the same area. They obviously don't appreciate your business at this store! read more
