The time before this, I told myself I would never go back as there is a heavy set gentleman working who is very rude and nasty. The first time I came (after being redirected from my previous place) everything was fine. The lady working was really really friendly. There were 2 people ahead of me and she worked efficiently. However, I do not live close by and have now drove out of my way here 3 times over the last year and every time they are closed during their own posted business hours (9-5 m-f, 9-4 sat). The first time I don't remember details. I just thought maybe there was an emergency and the employee left and had no one to cover. Life happens. The second time, I showed up at almost 2:00pm. Someone else was in the parking lot waiting. The sign on the door said lunch 1-1:30, and the light was on inside... so we waited. I was thinking maybe they went to lunch late. We waited until 2:15. We saw no people inside, despite the lights, and no other cars around. The third time, I happened to be getting pizza at Joeys up the street so I brought my cans. What do you know - not open again! It was 11:05am this time. Someone else was angry too, as he pulled up and said this happens to him all the time too. There was a goofy sign on the door saying "nature called, brb" but I doubt that. No lights were on. Did you have to drive to Canada to use the bathroom? Please. I imagine this place is just randomly open whenever. They never answer the phone when I try to call and see if they are open. Google reviews show generic responses based on the star rating, not actually addressing any of the feedback. I wouldn't waste my time unless I lived in the neighborhood. Go somewhere else.

Once inside a teller will instruct you on what you have to do. After you leave the office you drive to the weighing scales. There you get your beginning total weight. When your weight is determined, you pull up to the yardman and offload. He/she gives you a ticket, and then you get reweighed. This is when they determine, the difference in the weight of the beginning weigh ticket. I'm not sure how much you get paid per weight. But I figure something is better than nothing. Simple process after all.

So I found this company on Craigslist, and was a little unsure because you hear a lot of horror…read morestories about craigslist companies, but I was looking for more quotes and called. The owner Don, came to my appartment to do the walkthrough and quoted me for 4 guys and eight hours. My move was a little more complicated than most as there were 3 separate places to load up and a real trick and steep stairwell with a lot of big furniture. I was in the Army living in Itay for 7 years so I collected a lot of large and heavy furniture and quite a few fragile trinkets. The crew showed up on time- no complaints there. I took them on a tour of what was needed and they started to work. After about 30 min though, they had to rework their plan after realizing just how trick this appartment was. I can't complain about that, because after they got it figured out, everything went smooth. They had one guy on the back of the truck who really knew how to load a moving truck. It was pretty impressive. Kinda like tetris. So they got the apt loaded up and the stoarge area loaded up (located in a warehouse behind the apt) and Don came out to check out progress. That made me feel good. The crew didn't break anything and showed me any thing that was damaged before they touched it, so I knew it wasn't casued by them. They even took apart some furniture and put it together perfectly later. After all that was loaded, we went to my brother's house to pick up just a few more large items and the crew went to have lunch. I will be honest and say I was a littler worried on time because we were at 5 hours by then (always takes longer to load than download) but once we got to my new house, everything went fast. I walked them through the place and as they got my stuff off the truck, I just told them where to put it and it was done. I did walkthroughs at all locations and there was no damage, I checked out all my furniture and the things I was sure would be most likely to break and no problems what so ever. They even got it done just shy of the 8 hours quoted. I hope I wont ever have to move again, but If I do, I would hire this crew again. The guys were hard workers, they were funny and most importantly- They moved all my belongings without breaking them. As far as price goes, Don even gave me a better quote than the next closest guy by almost $200 and then, He even gave me a discount for being a Veteran. I can't complain about that. Looking on this site, I see someone on this site had a negative experience, but I can't relate at all. Everything went textbook for my move and I had a hard one. I would say call these guys. I was impressed.
