The cost was comparable to trex…read more While this should have been a simple build upon taking off the old deck board Pavel discovered a lot of rot. He is so meticulous we decided to replace studs and all the rim board. Then he was very concerned about the source of the water that caused the rot, he went to great lengths to protect the new studs from water. You can see he added crushed stone and also decided replacing the siding with a better install. Being handicapped in a wheelchair, he was nice enough raise the deck and install railing and deeper steps to facilitate my ingress and egress. I have nothing but praises as he really took the time to make the build correct and precise. The photos show beginning to end (follow the numbers as they are out of order. We are SO happy.
