FOR PROPERTY OWNERS CONSIDERING PMI WEST PALM: PMI West Palm actively mismanages properties and exposes property owners to severe legal liability. Upon move-in on July 1, 2026, our unit had active structural water leaks, ceiling damage, and unmitigated mold. City of West Palm Beach Code Enforcement inspected the property and cited active municipal code violations. Rather than fixing the property, PMI West Palm admitted in writing that the property owner lacked the funds to perform required repairs. PMI handles properties they cannot maintain, leading directly to tenant lease terminations and code enforcement cases. FOR TENANTS CONSIDERING LEASING FROM PMI WEST PALM: Interference with Inspections: When we scheduled an independent environmental specialist for an assessment of the active moisture and mold, PMI West Palm directly contacted the certified inspector and turned them away from evaluating the unit. Withholding Veteran & Tenant Funds: Following lease termination due to habitability failures under Florida Statute § 83.51, management explicitly stated in writing that "no refund will be issued." PMI West Palm is actively withholding $9,755.90 in cleared funds--which includes $9,150.00 in federal veteran housing assistance grant funds provided by Faith, Hope, Love Charity, Inc. CURRENT STATUS: City Code Enforcement: Active municipal violation notices logged. State Regulatory Action: Sworn administrative complaints submitted to the Florida DBPR (Division of Real Estate) against the Qualifying Broker for escrow and licensing violations, along with formal reports to the Florida Dept of Health and the VA Office of Inspector General (OIG).
