A 60-plus foot hickory snapped in high wind and headed for the house recently. We saw it sway drastically in one direction and back past center in the opposite direction, heard a "bang" and watched it fall. Thankfully, a stand of oaks caught it 15 feet from impact, although the potential for it to twist and still hit the house was very real. R & R brought their crane in early the next morning, and after trimming a boatload of branches lifted it off the back yard hill. They LIFTED it! Removing a massive tree with a crane is an astounding process to watch. The finesse used by the crane operator is amazing. With high winds continuing, he slowly and gently moved the tree down the South wall of the house, often within 12", laid it in the driveway, where the crew made short work of it. 5 stars falls short. This is the third time we have used R&R. Randy and his crew are prompt, professional, skilled.... and darn good at what they do. R&R's equipment is off the charts and they use it exceedingly well, give them 20 stars! read more

R &R tree services go above and beyond they trimmed dead branches and cleaned up as well I would recommend them over anyone!

Our experience with R & R Tree Service was amazing! I need more than 5 stars to accurately rate their performance and expertise! Among the 4 quotes that we got, their quote was very fair and competitive. We chose R & R because of the equipment they use to remove trees. They used a crane to remove 3 HUGE trees (Oak and Pine) in our backyard. Using the crane allowed them to remove the trees without having to take down our fence and damage our mature plants surrounding the trees. Their chipper and log truck easily handled the disposal of these huge trees. We watched their highly skilled crew remove the trees. It was very impressive to watch the crew members safely work together to complete this job in less than 4 hours. The clean up after the job was awesome! They were very respectful and left our yard and the street very neat and clean. We are very pleased and highly recommend R & R Tree Service. Scheduled a free estimate and cleared my morning schedule to meet with Pat Bailey from R & R. Unfortunately, he did not call or show up. He later called to tell me he messed up, but then he got defensive when I explained that I could no longer meet with him that day due to my schedule. read more

I coordinated a removal of (3) trees from my neighbor's yard that had encroached dangerously over my home. My neighbor contacted R&R Tree for the (3) trees and I called R&R and scheduled with their secretary to remove another tree while they were there with their massive equipment. ALL of the equipment were parked in my yard and utilized my property to access the trees. Randy, the owner, was at the jobsite and I pointed out the additional tree that I wanted to have removed...it would have taken approximately 30 minutes. Randy removed the (3) trees then packed up the crew and began to leave. I asked him why he didn't take the 4th and he said he did not have time but would come back to price the 4th. I stated "...that would be silly considering he had (5) guys and (4) massive pieces of equipment there now...". He refused and when he drove off he hit my brick mailbox enclosure(see pics). I filed a police report and he called me without asking any questions, no concern for me as a customer, he got defensive and refused responsibility. Never again shall I use or recommend R&R Tree! R and R Tree Service in Buford, GA took me to a website to put in a free estimate. It asked me to give my phone number, email, etc. for a quote. Three days later at 9 am, the doorbell rings. I had a late night of studying the night before and was sleeping in a bit. Then I hear someone opening our fence to go into our backyard. At this point, I had no idea who would be going into our backyard uninvited, so I got out of bed to go and see if there was a vehicle outside. There was a large, white pick up truck with no logo on it. About that time, the man comes up to my door and I ask who he is. He says that I gave him information and an address about a tree and was "called" by me the day before to come out. I told him that no such call existed. He insisted and gave me the estimate, driving away. I called R and R Tree Services a bit ago to voice my concerns that this man went into my backyard without my permission, trespassing and scaring my whole family. They claimed that it was a "rule of thumb" that if a customer fills out their online estimate form that their employees will come out and go in people's backyards and that they've been in service for over 40 years and have never had a problem. I told her that I was very concerned, since nowhere on their online estimate form does it say that I am giving permission to anyone to come onto my property at any time, much less if I am home to greet them. She was rude and defensive, calling me a liar and saying again that they've never had a problem before. I responded by telling her that I wanted some transparency on their website form for this "rule of thumb" and that I was not planning on using her services. I also said I would contact you all, the people who vouched for them, to let you all know of my problems. I have had many estimates before for various things and none of them included a stranger showing up on my doorstep and inviting himself onto my property when I was not there to greet them. These guys are amazing. Three brothers who've been in the tree business for over 30 years. They've done several removal and pruning jobs for us over the years and do excellent work. We had them look at some large limbs that we thought might be a hazard. Instead of giving a quote and scheduling the job they told us the trees were not a hazard at all, saving us a ton of money.
