OK, enough of the flowery stuff. There are four members in the crew, and each is skilled in a particular aspect of the field of cutting down trees. I've seen a lot of tree crews, and these guys are top notch. They showed up on time, I had to get the utility company to do a power drop, and then the members swiftly got to work, dropping the trees that could be a problem for my power line first. By noon, those trees were gone, and I called up the power company to say they could reconnect the power, which they did at about 1 PM. (Hidden praise for Walton EMC buried in here. Based on past experience, I wouldn't begin to expect the same level of service from the power company that has the word 'Georgia' in their name. YMMV.) I was so pleased I paid them a bit extra and gave the crew some of my stash of hash. No, that's not quite right. Fudge. Yes, that's it! Fudge, that I had purchased the day before in St. Augustine. I had a total of four trees taken down and absolutely everything was to my satisfaction, a thing that is quite rare these days. There are 3 pictures attached below. He doesn't work for the city. He is not endorsed by the city. After thereby tricking my unwell father (and some neighbors who also later regretted it) into hiring him, this Safeco guy showed up with an uncontrollable level of energy and dilated pupils. The guys who came with him that first time kept saying, "Man, you're crazy." They didn't return when he came back. He left tree parts on top of our air conditioning unit for several days in the middle of summer, even after the guys who were with him told him not to do it. He cut down the healthiest trees and cut off the branches of the tallest ones, thereby destabilizing them. He continued cutting healthy trees even after we told him to stop. Our back yard has become swamp-y and overrun by poison sumac. The foundation of our house is compromised. There's a drainage ditch that runs next to our house, so it should be obvious to anyone who knows about trees and soil what would happen. Some of the neighbors who were bamboozled ended up replanting the trees he cut down. Since he left the unhealthiest trees (and did everything he could to destabilize them) one almost crushed our house during the arctic blast. If you want a trustworthy tree service who isn't going to make you fear for your personal safety, I recommend Zamora.

Since my attempt at competitive bids fell flat, I told Ronnie to do the job. They called me a day or two later to schedule a time. They showed up as promised late in the afternoon and dug right in. They had a team of 6-8 guys who seemed to work really well together. One or two were high in the trees; a couple more were at the chipper; one on the bobcat; a chorus of two or three chainsaws accompanied all the activity. The biggest oak tree was leaning the wrong way, so they had to pull it with the bobcat And the chipper truck. The boss man attacked the tree with a saw, pausing to direct the pulling as he went. The tree fell right where he wanted it. Daylight was running out, so they left one of the four trees to cut another day. Two days later it was gone, and the yard cleaned up nicely. I'll definitely call these guys again.

Came back the next day with the crew. Super efficient. Very respectful and kind. I was obviously upset about the tree and Patricio was amazing. Tree removed carefully and he took photos of the roof for me. The yard was cleaned up and you couldn't tell all that had happened. They put the tarps back up to cover every hole in the roof. Overall, amazing service. Got a quote on some other trees that were making me nervous and was very pleased with the amount. They took those trees down and I recommended them to my neighbor and they taking care of some of his trees. I highly recommend them.
