I zoom on the grass and quickly get off at South Oyster Bay rd and see S&S Auto center. It's 7:30 at night, I'm cold and the gas station attendant says to leave the car. The mechanics will look over the car tomorrow. The next day I get a call, the main engine belt broke. It needs a pulley as well, we'll have it ready today and you can pick it up any time. The price seems a little high for what I was charged. However, they did a great job and got my Jeep operational in one day. Thanks S&S!

I live down the street so I walked up. The guy at the front desk moved beyond slow and couldn't even recommend anyone locally for a tow truck. He didn't even know what a tow truck was and he seemed lost. I know, Night Shift guys pumping gas may not know who to recommend. I got a tow after hitting google and had the car dropped off. Spoke to the owner the following day at 7. Explain the situation with my car with the ABS lights. He told me he'll look at it at some point during the day. That I just gotta give him time cause he's jammed up and to call in the afternoon to see if they had a chance to check it out. I called at 1 o'clock and a lady answer the phone told me they were just about to put the car into the bay to work on and call back in about an hour. I call back in an hour. The owner picks up and start screaming at me like a lunatic. I've never been spoken to such a way in all my years working customer service and dealing with the public; he was screaming at me so much my boss could hear him over the phone and we were looking at each other horrified. Like I told him I understand you jammed up I was just told by the young lady you were bringing into the bay in an hour ago and call and see if you figure out what the issue was. I can't get off the phone. He would not let me get off the phone screaming at me for over a five minutes and how they still did it look at the issue on the car yet. I called him back later in the day as I'm about to leave work at 4 and I told him I just need to know if you have an idea what the issue is and if I have to make arrangements for the following day for a ride; and again screaming at me like a wild lunatic to only call me a half an hour later and they fixed the car quoted me 300 when I got there it went up to 500 and change. And again he kept yelling at me that I wasn't giving them time and how dare I call. I refuse to do business with them again and I do not recommend them to anyone there is no reason to speak to a human being that way to carry on like a psychopath and as it is, I gotta take the car now to another mechanic this morning cause the brakes aren't working after what they did. Very poor customer service attitude, and I am incredibly angry and disappointed in the way I was treated and spoken to and that the amount of money I spent I gotta still take my car to another Mechanic. If I could get this place a negative star I absolutely would. I would never do business with him again. I won't even get gas with them again. I've never dealt with such horrible customer service.

Took my car here for an inspection last year and was passed without incident. Went again this year…read moreand was told that I needed $800 of work, primarily to replace the front passenger side ball joint along with a few other repairs. I had received a similar estimate from another location where I had taken my car for an oil change a few weeks earlier. I got the work done, and within days, the car began pulling hard to the right, so much so that I needed to drive with the wheel at a 45 degree angle to the left just to keep the car driving straight. In a matter of days, the tread on the tire where I had the ball joint replaced was completely gone where it felt like driving on glass. As it turns out, they didn't not provide an alignment after installing the new ball joint which caused the problem (that I was quoted on and told was necessary with a new ball joint by the second location in their estimate only 10 days earlier). I brought the car back to the shop with bill in hand that indicates their work is guaranteed for 90 days. Their mechanic looks at the car, renders it undrivable and tells me that it will be another $2000+ to repair the damage. I asked how this was possible since they literally just passed me for an inspection and inquired about the guarantee, but was told the damage is completely unrelated to the work that was done at the time of inspection and that I would have to pay full price. So I am supposed to believe that after $800 worth of repairs to the front passenger side tire/ball joint, that completely coincidentally I've incurred another two grand in damages that are entirely unrelated to what was allegedly "fixed" only days earlier which has left my car undrivable? What a bunch of con artists. I'm currently looking into taking them to small claims court. Avoid at all costs unless you want to be scammed.

I pull in this gas station because I can see it's full service with the guy ready at the pump. As he's fueling my tank, I ask if they do oil changes. He said yes but they close at 3pm and you should go now. I pull around and jump out. After telling the mechanic inside what I needed, he jumps in my car and gets started. 15 minutes top and I'm done. I ask about what oil he used. Your car needs synthetic, which is true. Then he comes outside and pops my hood to show me where it say my oil type just so I would know. 0/30W (or 5/30W after1000k) he replies. Gas + oil change + answer questions = jackpot,
