Normally, I would've been upset, but I figured something was better than nothing, and this was our only shot at getting something. We were both really glad we went there because dining indoors was lovely, and we still had a great view of the bay. The food was delicious, we walked around outside after our meal, so we didn't feel like we lost out on any aspect of our lunch. It was just rearranged. We both ordered lobster rolls, which came with French fries. The lobster roll was incredibly overstuffed with lots of beautiful lobster meat. It was impressive to see and even better to bite into. The lobster was sweet and succulent and loads of it, surrounded by a buttery brioche bun. Fabulous !! It was a wonderful first meal of our vacation, so we were off to a great start. We decided to split dessert and ordered their lemon meringue tart. It was so pretty, and it tasted even better. It was a beautiful day when we went there... not too hot nor humid. This place is known for a whole slew of adirondack chairs laid out on the inn's "hill." It was quite crowded when we were there. Very popular spot. Previously over the decades they thanked us profusely for paying our bill so promptly. On the owner's recommendation I had parts of my lawn reseeded-twice. I requested that he bring in loom to reseed. He did not. The grass failed-he didn't re do it. When he mentioned reseeding again (at my expense), I said sure, but you can't do it the same way-it's going to die. we need deeper top soil to propagate roots. I guess he didn't want to get his hands dirty with loom. But last Fall they didn't show up for clean up and didn't return calls. I thought they had Covid. So, in the Spring I waited...they didn't show up. No explanation. They did not return 3 phone voice mails. I had to go find them on a site to hear from the owner that they didn't want to do my lawn any more. No explanation. This is beyond rude. My yard has been neglected for 5 weeks now because, he didn't tell me last Fall he was quitting the job instead of bringing in loom in the spring. Now I am in the lurch trying to locate a service on short notice. I am allergic to grass and recovering from hand surgery. There is no way I can go do this myself. This is weasel behavior on Mr Bob from Hawkeyes part.

Every time we called to check in and see when someone would be out. We were told they would be out later that week. We recently reached out to let them know we needed a for sure service date or we would need to arrange to clean up ourselves or find another more reliable company. That was over three days ago and no one has gotten back to us. Not a very professional or reliable way to conduct business.

They had the food truck called The Grove which I think has a very limiting menu - in terms of healthy and tasty - which is my requirement. I got the grove salad with chicken and it was just ok - nothing to write home about. The hubs had the BLT sandwich which he liked but also found it quite greasy. There are restrooms which are these portable ones in these trailers and they're very nice and clean but the individual ones on the opposite end of the stage was very smelly. The ones behind the stage were better. Running water, flush everything- like a proper restroom. So that is good. We got parking through SpotHero at a nearby parking lot - it was $26 but we didn't want to take chance looking around for parking that is why. But our friends said they found street parking so it's possible to find free parking too. Overall we had a great time, the weather was perfect beautiful summer evening - and great music!
