Where do I begin first of all not at all licensed,unprofessional,rude ,ignorant,and violent towards my dad who is a senior by the way Adam was hired to do a walk way and a new lawn he came and installed the lawn first then came back ripped up some of the newly installed lawn to do the walk way it was installed unlevel and was nat packed down now it will need to be redone he was also hired at the same time to remove an outdoor kitchen and build a paver patio he and his so called crew dismantled the outdoor kitchen and later found most of the debris left in the lot next door the patio was installed un even and pitched wrong and wasn't even at the right height at the end of the job he didn't have the tools needed to make cuts to the paver stone and was left un finished we spoke to Adam and was told he wanted his money or else and watch your back I'm coming for you we have had multiple threats by phone and text to the pount we had to get law enforcement involved DO NOT HIRE THIS HACK HE IS UNHINGED read more

Appalling!...this so called "business" will leave you with nothing but wasted time & money. What you get for your buck: cheap low quality soil (probably his pet's manure), barely any seed for growth, stones/pebbles to ruin your lawn mower (if by some miracle grass actually grows from this messy job.) The company has no business number, only the owner's cell, a colorful character who does not answer the phone. Instead provides customer service in the form of text messages...messages that leave you thinking you are communicating w/ a teenage varsity cheerleader. After guaranteeing his work you will inevitably have to reach out about the mess this landscaper made in which you'll realize the liar your dealing with. I was in desperate need of some yard cleanup. I called Adam and he answered right away. Within a few days I had a very reasonable quote and a few days later the job was completed! They did an amazing job and I have found myself a great landscaper going forward! I would recommend them to anyone who asks! Horrible no business skills what so ever !! gave me a extremely high price that was written down on a ripped piece of paper , and screen shot it and text it to me . I told him it was too high and never responded back to him . He showed up the week after to irriete and seed after not confirming that I even still wanted the service . Then tried to charge me 500$$$ !!! This service should only be no more than 150 for my size yard. I ended up giving him 200 .00 for his time because I felt bad. What a crook !! A.P. of Above & Beyond Landscaping (Pawtucket, RI area) agreed to landscape a wooden-framed garden for my parents (they are in their mid-70's) in front of their addition to their house. A.P. of A&BL also promised that they would install 2 drainage pipes from the gutter spout that would run under the garden at an incline to the sidewalk so that rain would not flood the garden area but instead flow from the roof gutter through the drainage system to the sidewalk. After the work was complete, the garden landscaping looked OK but soon after we discovered problems with the quality of the their work and their customer service. With regards to workmanship, they did a very poor job with the drainage system. A.P. of A&BL attached 2 cheap PVC tubes to the gutter spout with DUCT TAPE (YES, DUCT TAPE) and buried the whole joint in the ground. See the picture below. There is huge chance that this will not survive the season. Next, they MISALIGNED the end of the tube with the holes that they drilled in the wooden frame of the garden to let the rain water flow out to the sidewalk. Again, see the picture below. It would not be difficult to align a 6" OD tube with 1/2" drilled holes. Therefore, THIS DRAIN DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. As for customer service, A.P. of A&BL agreed to lay a bed of small rocks all along the foundation, but they did not. This is clear example of them not fulfilling promises made to paying customers. Lastly, after the work was done, my parents called A.P. of A&BL to tell him the drain was not working, and even though A.P. said he would come by to fix it, A.P. of A&BL NEVER CALLED BACK OR CAME BACK! Now I have to help my dad dig it all up and re-do the piping system. In summary, at best, they do a decent job at simple landscaping but maybe not doing everything as promised (example - not laying rocks as they promised they would do). However, they clearly do a low-quality job with anything more complicated than simple landscaping (example - using duct tape on tubing used to drain water and sloppiness with constructing a simple design (misaligned tube with the drilled holes)). The worst part of their service is that they did not even try and resolve the problems once they were told about it. I can't help but think that because my parents are elderly that A.P. of A&BL thinks he (or they) can get a way with poor workmanship and ignoring requests by paying customers to correct mistakes they have made. I would have given them 2 stars based on their landscaping of the garden, but because they did not even come back to fix the problem, I demoted them to 1 star. read more
