Third Eyeglasses: I bought frames to put the the first eyeglass lenses in and whoever did the work put a screw in that was totally different in style and color from the other screws. I made an appointment at Americas Best in Springfield, and this was the best experience I have ever. The store was clean, well kept, and everyone was super nice. Roberta and Tammy were so kind with helping me, and accommodated me with my wheelchair. The Optometrist was also great. He doubled checked my vision, and made sure my eye were healthy. He was very thorough, but also quick! There was a pair of glasses I wanted that I had bought years ago, and Roberta called a store in Arizona to get me the last pair in the country! She went above and beyond for me. Tammy could relate to what to what I was going through, and treated me like family. Thank you all for being so kind, and understanding my situation. Being in customer service myself and being treated this way is very Frustrating. My eye appt was on Aug .17 of 2024 and here we are into November and still haven't received my new glasses. Have phoned the office multiple times and get different answers each time. Funny how you receive 50 emails about making appt to get your eye check up and then after they have your money$$$ NOTHING BUT CRICKETS.. I will be changing eye doctors ASAP... Long wait in the ER, nurses didn't get my vein but still put saliene and morphine into my arm,…read morenobody knew it wasnt in til I went for a contrast CT scan, arm was so sore for days following since everything they injected into me was in soft tissue. Had to call the nurse 3x to see if I could use the bathroom I was in extreme abdominal pain and was told nothing was wrong. Only plus side was that most of the staff was very nice.
