After meeting with Henry I felt at ease and trusted he'd do a great job. The project involved a partial tear-down while the house was simultaneously having the siding redone. Unfortunately, the siding project (which was hired by a separate company) turned into a complete fiasco...and that was when Henry stepped in and proved his excellence in service, skill, knowledge and all around great work ethic! As the old siding was removed, it was revealed that there was a substantial amount of rot to the house structure underneath. The siders made no mention of it to me and proceeded to install new siding over the extensive damage. Fortunately, Henry was there to observe what was happening and I put a halt on the siding until the structure was repaired. Henry knew exactly what needed done and he worked all through the cold winter to have the house ready for siding in the spring. There were areas where windows had to be removed and walls rebuilt, including the drywall on the interior. Henry proved to be skilled in performing all of the work with great results! He is an all-around handyman with excellent knowledge and skill in structural & deck framing, drywall installation & finishing, plumbing & electrical and more. I feel so grateful to have been able to rely on Henry when I really needed the help! I've since trusted him to be my go to guy for many other projects and he never disappoints.

He shows up early to work every day and puts in long hours. He is conscientious about doing quality work, its what motivates him. After starting work on my house, he found problems with the bonding of the previous paint to the cedar siding. He spent alot of additional hours scraping and priming to ensure the new paint would adhere properly. He has some previous experience in other tradecrafts and so can replace siding, etc as needed. Matthew's bid was very competitive with other contractors and when his high level of attention to detail and strong work ethic are considered, makes for excellent value.
