This gas station-turned-pizza place is a local favorite, if you're from Castle Dale or nearby. I am not, but as I was driving through, I stopped to grab some lunch and learned firsthand what the appeal is about. Everything is made to order so you're guaranteed a fresh meal. I love this little spot for takeout pizza when we are camping at a nearby state park. The pizza is hot and fresh and they use yummy cheese. Recently we came and decided to dine in for the first time and I was happy we did. The service was impeccable and we discovered they had a cute little outdoor seating area in addition to several booths inside. I also had no idea they have ice cream and other treats. Yum! I am from Phoenix, where everyone competes for business. Especially the pizza places. I was nothing but impressed with the service amd attentiveness of the staff and owner. Our food was phenomenal! I can usually find things to complain about. But not this place. I will be going back next time I am in the area. The salads were fresh, no corners cut on the pizza. Pricing was very fair for what you got. I am a restaurant welder that fixes equipment for a living amd have eaten lots of free pizza. From the Scottsdale area. I love their chicken bacon ranch pizza and their Sandra salad. The service is pretty good and they are usually pretty fast.

I need to start off by saying I have not been to this location, but I did visit the Soda Springs location that just opened up. The pizza was great. Cooked really well, very little flop, great taste. The owner, Ralene, is very personable and nice. The Soda Springs Idaho location just barely opened so they were having some issues with their point of sale machines, but the people are great, the food is great, probably the best place in that town. read more

While camping in the San Rafael Swell we drove to Castle Dale to celebrate my son's birthday. Pizza at R Pizza was just the thing! Their giant pizza was a huge hit with our 9 kids, half cheese half pep. The Malibu chicken pizza was really good, and the crust was fresh and yummy. We also got bbq chicken wings, they were sweet and not too saucy. The staff was really friendly and service was great. read more

In small town Caste Dale, UT. there are only two restaurants; R Pizza & Fatty's, my family visited each once on Friday night and the other on Saturday night during what I supposed was a busy time and the food and service at both locations was fantastic. The pizza was amazing and they had vegan options (Daiya, Soyrizo)! Super generous with toppings as well. The owner was so sweet and stopped at our table to talk with us a little bit. Great place for climbers to eat and hang out - the Miguels's of Joe's. read more

The nicest people. As climber, it was a perfect place to hang out. She was willing to let us stay past closing, while they cleaned up for the night. There were good sized tables for playing board games as well. Pizza was mediocre, best in town though. Price was good as well. We'll definitely be back again! read more
