That happened on 7/25/18 and I was contacted that I needed surgery so scheduled for 8/3/18. Dr Williams is the most caring and kind doctor I've ever had and I'm 74 years old. He performed the surgery and it was a complete success and my follow up visits with him and his assistant Heath, were all very favorable. He's very busy due bring such a great surgeon and if you are able to have him as your surgeon you would be very lucky. My husband needs a shoulder replacement and we scheduled an appointment and saw Heath, but due to his popularity we couldn't get scheduled for surgery for 5 months, so they suggested we see another ortho dr so he could get surgery sooner. I went to the ER after a several weeks of discomfort and was found to have a torn rotator cuff (a large tear). Once my case was referred to Dr. Lichtman, things happened pretty quick. After surgery, I spent 6 weeks in a sling and then started physical therapy. Since June, 5 months after surgery, I've returned to full range of motion, my strength is back enough to reengage in maintaining my 3 acres (carefully)... and I'm pain free. In my surgery, Dr. Lichtman did multiple repairs for the tear, bone spurs and early-stage arthritis. I had four follow-up visits with him (not his staff) where he assessed my progress and answered questions. Cancelling my surgery scheduled for the next day as my EKG they had done TWO WEEKS PRIOR (and apparently nobody had even looked at it) said I'd had a heart attack?? FYI and not surprisingly, I had it redone at Sutter and they found NOTHING...And gave me the results on the spot! Me having to stop him over and over to translate the medical terminology he was using so I had the slightest idea what he was talking about? Lousy experience start to finish. I was seriously apprehensive about having him do the surgery, but the EKG was the last straw. I asked about the time it took to read my EKG and why they canceled my surgery scheduled the next day; they apologized and told me they were short staffed, which had now become my problem. When my husband went into surgery, TODD took my husband hand, my hand and prayed...saying "I hope this goes well"...when we went into his office to tell the Dr., after surgery, that my husband was in pain, Todd would not even roll the chair he was sitting on, to push it across the room to feel my husbands knee....I kept asking him to do so, he ignored us. NEVER one time did he us asking how the surgery went, then he moved his practice back East...NO and HELL NO, you use this Dr. you have been warned!!!!!!!

While on vacation, my daughter has high altitude sickness…read more It is suppressing her desire to eat or drink making her nauseous. Our location it is very over populated currently (we are in Mammoth Lakes) to get in to see urgent care as it is July 4th weekend will be very difficult. It is very disappointing that we are not able to get help from her primary care doctor. Simple anti nausea for high altitude sickness. Why? So she can get fluids / food in her so she won't need an IV. Suggestion was: 1. Take her to a lower altitude (which we may just do but have paid a pretty penny VRBO to be here) 2. Urgent care (spend a day going through this experience when the town is overwhelmed with quantity of people).
