The last time my fiance and I went to egon we were given flimsy one sheet menus with everything in Norwegian. Which is fine because I like to practice my Norwegian. This last month when we went back the Menu had been updated to include many different types of entrees. Lunch menu and Dinner menu were different and they updated their burgers. I have a feeling Egon is trying to present itself as an upscale classy restaurant but having an all you can eat pizza and salad lunch buffet wont help you get there. The menu seems to have gone from cheap to chic and it looks like the ingredients used have also been upgraded. The food isn't terrible but it isn't something that blew my mind. It is good enough but not the first place I think of when I think of a great restaurant. If you need a place to have a cheap lunch then I would check Egon out. Very kid friendly and many different types of alcohol to choose from.

Kebab pizza is something that you know you just want to try just by hearing the name of it. Is it a kebab or a pizza? WHat is the shape? What will it have? It has the best of both worlds and flavors that are sure to please. My fiance first introduced me to Kebab Pizza my first time in Norway and ever since the my mouth starts watering just at the sound of it. It is kebab (Lamb) sliced of a rotisserie that is topped over a freshly baked pizza with cheese and sauce, that is then topped with their special kebab sauce. The sauce is incredible and reminds me of mayo, sour cream, chili powders and seasonings with some ranch and tang thrown in. It is wonderful and fatty full of flavor. You don't want to stop eating it because you know you will regret it later. The third time we were here we ordered the kebab lamb on top of fries and cheese. It was also fatty and wonderful. If I could, I think i could just eat the kebab lamb on its one with sauce for dipping.

He was going to take me to a steak house but his mom mentioned an Indian restaurant that is suppose to be good so we decided to check it out. I love indian food myself. I am not a fan of the fake indian food where there are hundreds of thousands of curry this and that. I want indian food the right way. So as you can see I was already a skeptic. We arrived and there was only one other patron in the restaurant. We looked over the menu and keeping in Norwegian prices, it was expensive but as my fiance says, it should matter, its Norway. We ordered samosas as our appetizer. I ordered the Lamb Tikka and my fiance ordered the India Gate special which was a mixture of all different cuts of meat that had been grilled in a tandoori oven. We ordered a few different types of Naan bread and were set for a feast. It was amazing especially the tandoori grilled meats. I was very happy and satisfied. The only problem I had was the Lamb I ordered was very salty. Almost too salty however the rice did balance it out. My fiance's dish didn't come with rice but mine did, so we ended up sharing the food. All in all, we had a ton of food for a fair price in Norway and left happy and satisfied. I will be back next time I am in Norway.
