Located right before you enter the two lane road that takes you to the Keys. This is your last chance for reasonable gas prices snacks and drinks for your long drive ahead. It is also right before the Last Chance Saloon. I have stopped here many times over the years. Why not it is clean and reasonably priced. Yesterday's visit was unplanned it was raining like crazy and our road trip with a full car of colleagues resulted two unplanned stops at the bathrooms. Since i am there and the pumps are covered I might as well fill up better be safe than sorry it is a long way home with numerous stops to make before I get there. read more

This is location has been a divinely planned plot to make life easier for all mankind. Well, maybe not all mankind, but at least all the residents of Isle of Oasis, Waterstone, and Lennar. Depending on which way you are going, the convenience of this location is nothing short of amazing. It is practically 2 blocks away from my house. So when I need gas for the lawn mower (or my car) it is a 2 to 3 minute drive to filler-up! What can we do about the price of gas? Mayne not much, except to buy it. Lol. But they also have a pretty nice interior with many food offering. Of course the usual junk food fair of chip, candy, sodas, and beer. But they also have FROZEN YOGURT! Pre-pandemic it was off and poppin'. Choose the size cup you want, then top it off with your toppings of choice and the cashier weighs and then you pay. [I have a collection of their plastic spoons in my kitchen right now!] NOTE: As of this review (FEB 2021, it is still not OPEN). Definitely sign-up for their membership reward program. Every time you pump gas and make purchases, punch in your digits, and rack up those points, for discount purchases. DO it every time! They keep the interior clean and maintained, very inviting. I love that I can find almost anything at this gas station before continuing on my journey to the keys. At the very minimum I stop here to grab a cold cup of Coca Cola. On very early mornings I grab a cup of delicious Colombian coffee and a ham/egg/cheese croissant. It's my go-to. In the afternoons I stop and grab a hot-dog. read more

Alright, so I guess I'll admit I haven't really reviewed a gas station before but this one warrants its recognition. Consider it the last spot before you hit the Card Sound Road, you wanna stop here for whatever last minute fuel, snacks, beverages, or items you might need. Very well equipped and nicely lit, you'll find yourself here needing ice or just a bathroom break before the stretch. The cashiers are quick and the gas is cheap. It's also a great time to wipe those bugs off your windshield to keep your view nice and clear during the dark road (I usually drive at night) so even if you don't need some petro- it's worth a quick stop. The restrooms are actually clean and since you won't find anything else for the next 30-40 minutes, it's almost necessary to pull over. Next Stop is Key Largo so make sure you're fueled up. read more

2970 N. Military in West Palm Beach. This place is recently opened. My crew of 12 guys and I have stopped in every morning for coffee and breakfast and most afternoons we have stopped in for something to eat on the way home, however not anymore! I only live two minutes away from this store in The Palms! Tonight I stopped in and I got something to drink and some ice cream on the way home. When I stepped up to the register she told me how I had to use the self checkout register, when I went to the first self-register nearest the window she asked me if it was cash or card, I said I was using card. The woman overseeing the self registers told me I had to step aside. So I stepped away while some another person came up and used the register. They let multiple people go ahead of me before telling me I could use a self-register. Again they asked me cash or card and directed me towards the original register I was going to use. When I pointed out that was the register that I was originally going to use my card on the girl snapped at me and threateningly said they have video. I let them know they could play the video to prove my point, she refused to do so. Your company can do one of two things, you can prove to me I was wrong on the video which I know I was not or I can take my business down to Cumberlands and I can continue to let everyone know not to stop there based on how they treat their customers. read more

I fueled the boat at this gas station on 6/17/2019 and there is a tremendous amount of water in my fuel system. Breaking us down at sea during a thunderstorm and causing damage to my boat. Fellow boaters and fisherman don't buy racetrac gas!!! read more

RaceTrac. I have to admit, this is my first gas station review. Normally, I concentrate my review efforts on restaurants, but I felt RaceTrac was deserving of a shout out. Normally when I am in the need of fuel, I drop in, get my gas, maybe a snack for the road or a lotto ticket and I'm out without a second thought. Gas stations are NOT all created equal. RaceTrac is the cream of the crop when it comes the hangouts that involve petroleum and exhaust fumes. Lately I find myself down in the Keys a lot. My Harley Super Glide begs me to ride down Card Sound Road - just for the hell of it and because it's so damn nice. RaceTrac is the perfect stop before the 20-something mile stretch and excitement that is the Keys. Dare I say, the coffee is actually GOOD here - with lots of creamer and sweetener options. I can stand here all day trying to pick a beverage - they have every soda, water, beer and energy drink that one could ever want. The snack options will bring a tear to the eye of any hardcore, budget-minded traveler. Let's not forget about the island of rotating taquitos, dogs and sausages - tantalizing those with the worst hangovers or road munchies. I'll take a pass on those, but if you want a cheap lunch - can't beat 2 for 2:50 (which I think includes a drink). Let's not forget something very important - restrooms. Clean restrooms. RaceTrac has never let me down in the cleanliness department. There's always a crew of workers busy mopping up messes, greeting customers and taking care of the never ending line. There's nothing like pulling into the parking lot on my Harley and watching all the other mudders, bikers, truckers and roadtrippers turn their head to see what's up. I was extremely disappointing on staff and to whoever is in charge of the hiring process. According to receipt "TRAN" was extremely rude to me on my first time ever going to this gas station. As i was quietly and patiently waited in line (one guy in front of me) to pay for gas and orange juice for my morning route, Mr Tran got the next cashier and abruptly said "C'Mon Girl, Girl, Girl, yeah you girl" I was in SHOCKED! What happened to the "May i help the next costumer", or "Excuse ma'm may i help you?". I was astonished how rude he was. I couldn't believe what i was hearing. I am glad i chose not to embarrass him. There are a few things he needs to know that will help him in the long run. One- BE RESPECTFUL. Two CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS Three WORK IS NOT A PLAYGROUND.
