Every time I come here to get something from the hot section you at least stand there for like 10 minutes without anybody acknowledging you everyone looks up, but no one say one moment, please or anything me personally because of them speak Spanish then the moment when you get help, they tell you one moment to go get someone who does speak English just aggravating? read more

"I had a very unpleasant experience I'd like to share so it doesn't happen to someone else. On October 08/2025 at 2:05 PM, I was at the Publix at 2950 NE 8th St, Homestead, FL. I went to register 7 with a full cart. The cashier --whose name I believe was something like Brochen or Krochen-- saw me but didn't inform me it was an express lane. I unloaded all my items expecting to be helped, but when it was my turn she said publicly: 'Can't you see this is an express lane? I'm not going to ring you up.' I explained that I have had five lumbar surgeries and cannot handle that weight, that everything was already there, but she refused even though I asked politely. I felt hurt, humiliated, and mistreated. It's not just about rules -- it's how people are treated, especially when they have medical conditions. I hope management investigates this incident -- they can identify who was in register 7 at that time on that date -- and trains staff to respond with empathy toward all customers." read more

Meh... After a weekend, our Key Largo Publix looks like locusts wiped the shelves clean. I decided to head to the mainland in search of Evian and Gold Peak Unsweetened Iced Tea. Not sure if the sales were really good or what, but this Publix was MUCH busier than I have seen it the past 20 years. Maybe I missed something? This Publix doesn't carry the Gold Peak in any form. I am sure they did years ago. Oh well. At least their shelves were full with Evian. For me, the Evian is a luxury splurge. There are worse things I could be drinking! While I was here, I scoped out their Halo Top keto pops. They didn't have any. They had the lower calorie ones, but sadly, not the same thing. Publix use to be a great shopping place till now. Prices are extremely high. Very few organic products. BOGO's are a lot of times random products people don't normally buy and not the healthiest options. Publix also has a bad tendency of letting products expire on their shelves and the consumer like myself won't notice until I get home so now I must check every product I purchase. Also, publix does not give you the option to return products at just any publix without receipt although they use to. Very disappointed with how publix has become very greedy with their consumers. You shop anywhere else to get the same products and you'll see how much cheaper your bill will be! read more

Who gives a customer their groceries in a ripped up bag? She tore the bag up & just hand it to me like as if I should deal with it. I stared at her in disbelief but if it's one thing I learned, don't make a scene. Just make a formal complaint & upload it to yelp. There is absolutely NO excuse for this poor customer service skills. The right thing to do is either rebag it or double bag it. For goodness sake, what if I had bought some materials in glass & she does this? It would've fell out & broke. I didn't bother going back because I had things to do & take care of. Yesterday i ordered two subs. One BLT Sub. It was supposed to be toasted. The bacon was almost raw and disgusting. The roll was soggy. Just a disgusting disappointment. I also ordered an Italian sub, toasted. Nope. Soggy mess. I am going to subway next time. read more

Do better in the deli. You offer an order ahead service. However, my order is never in the pickup area. Always not ready on time or sitting on a counter in the back for no reason. Last time I was given my order with someone else's mixed in. Today I ordered 3/4lb and was only given 1/2lb. This was the deli manager doing the orders!! It's either lack of attention or sheer laziness. Neither of which is acceptable. Again...do better. read more

This Publix store is the closest to my house, so it's super convenient and easy to stop in and just get what I need without getting off my path. It's not the biggest Publix warehouse store in the area, but it's adequate and they provide a great service. Publix ranks really high in customer service, in fact they are a nation-wide leading chain and many other stores follow them. read more

Do NOT come here for ice cream, specifically. Their frozen aisle always has issues with the ice cream and the pints always having freezer burn or being expired. It could also be an issue of the customers not closing the doors correctly. However, I have gone on separate occasions with months or a year in between, and it is never fixed. For everything else, however, it is well stocked and has good customer service. read more

This publix supermarket is the closest publix/supermarket to my home so it is fairly convenient. Regardless of that convenience...this is a really good publix. Firstly, I love their deli/food purchase area. The deli workers are very attentive and friendly. They always make it a point to tell their customer they would be with them as soon as possible. They always smile and they actually begin to remember their customers as they keep coming to the deli. I really like how personable they are. Moreover, their sandwiches are delicious....their hot chicken are incredible. It's so easy to just pass by while shopping and picking up a whole chicken to go. I especially like it whenever they come up with a new temporary flavor...currently they have a siraccha chicken that is to die for. They also make a pretty good roast pork. Beyond that their meat section is also very well stocked. I love steaks and the butchers there are always friendly and willing to give me a specific cut of meat. Great publix supermarket. read more

Cant complain about this store. There is not much to say they have a large pharmacy and it has a drive thru which I haven't seen at any other store. That is a very nice feature that they offer. Came in for a couple items for a quick pickup. The store is clean and well stocked. I prefer another chain over this one as their prices seem higher than most grocery stores. Bought first cake from freezer and returned it because it was stale; so I Ordered another bday cake ,and I gave them the time that I'll be picking it up;nobody was there !! This guy who don't work that department found my cake. And guess what ??! That shit was going stale after day one !! I just moved here and so far the freakin publix , Cvs ,and presidente freakin sucks !!! I really dislike these stores here in Homestead !!! I'm very dissatisfied about this pharmacy. I am suffering from cardiac arrhythmia and I need to take my anti arrhythmic medication. I have been a self payer for the last two months because I new job with a different company and until the new benefits are active (09/01/2021) I have to pay for my medication of course. I took a Cardizem prescription to this pharmacy en Thursday 08/05/2021) and I was aware that this medication has to be ordered. The technician told me that they were expecting new delivery by Saturday afternoon and that I should receive a text message when this medication along with other medication was ready. On Sunday 08/08/2021, i did not receive any text from Publix Pharmacy, and I decide to go because i was out of medication. The manager told me that the medication needed to ordered upon I give my consent (something I already did on Thursday) and started to give all kind of excuses. Finally she ordered and I hope I can have have my medication by tomorrow afternoon. I could take my prescription to another pharmacy but knowing this medication needs to be ordered, that would represent more delay. Conclusion: I have no medication to take due to Publix Pharmacy negligence and I hope I don't have any issues because I am sure that if need to go to ER, Publix Pharmacy will not pay my bill. They should take better care of their patients. read more

The reason this is getting 4 stars is for the verity of health food items that are hard to find in other stores. Like today I found quest bars 2 for $4 you won't find that anywhere. Also all the other bars like cliff and Lara are very cheap. I like that u can buy them in singles so u can try them out first. They also have a verity of milk substitutes like cashew with chocolate and rice milk. I was also happy to see dairy free ice cream which I have trouble finding around my area. Even if it's a very small size it's better than nothing for that late night sweet tooth. Hope they keep it up. It would be 5 stars but it's a little pricey on other regular non sale items. read more

The produce often goes bad within 1 day or is already moldy. The dairy products are often long expired. They often fail to put all of my groceries in my cart. A cashier once fought with me over scanning my grapes twice. I saw her scan it a second time after she stopped to chat with a stock clerk. I then brought to her attention that it was done twice. The easy solution would be to just remove it. She responded to me defensively and was adamant about not scanning it twice. I had to ask again to have it removed. I really don't give a care as to WHY or HOW, but I shouldn't have to ask twice to have an item removed that I'm not purchasing. Arrrgg!! These are things that I've grown to check myself since they happen so often. This is the most aggravating place to grocery shop on the face of the planet. read more

I had the worse experience ever, after leaving the hospital I was provided with a prescription to take to the pharmacy once I arrived I waiting about 15 to 20 minutes on the drop off area no one came to help then I decided to go to the pick up area where everyone was, I was having chills and my fever was sky high, I gave the pharmacy tech the prescription and she said I need to go to the drop off area I explain to her that I was there already and no one came, another tech came who was working in the drop off area and but it stating I need to go there, I sad "why can you just take the paper here, makes no sense" after me getting upset she finally took it and told me it would take 4 hours to get it filled I found that hard to believe due to the type of meds I was giving, she said we will text , four hour came by nd no text at this point the pharmacy closed so I spent all night miserable with chills and fever, today I decided to go back since no one called, when I arrived my prescription was no ready I ask to talk to the pharmacy which it was a different one from yesterday I ask her, how long does this type of prescription takes to get fill? She says about 7 minutes, my was not even filled and literally took them about 7 minutes to get it ready, this is not right to do to any human being just because you are having a bad day or perhaps you don't like what you do, i suffered all night because they had an attitude and didn't want to do what they supposed to, bad business, I am not a happy customer, so if your life depends on this pharmacy run and find another one you will be dead before they give you your meds. read more

Every time I go I get amazing service at the deli when I order my Publix Chicken Tender Sub (Which is always fresh and delicious) the people there are amazing. When I check out, I also get amazing service from the cashiers. One young man who bagged my groceries named Gio was amazing! He offered to take my bags and was super friendly! I am an avis fan of Publix Super Markets. I have never had anything but amazing experiences within them. It really does feel like a proper welcoming when all the staff tell you good morning and they are so eager to help you get through your purchasing faster. I've never had a moment where if I am walking and it even looks like I don't know where I am someone will stop and offer to guide me or if I'm looking for something in particular. The bakery and deli section as long as I get there early in the morning, everything is fresh. Throughout the day they could be a little bit more better about bringing more fresh baked goods out, but I suppose then not everything would sell. The deli selection is amazing and I love how even when I asked once how something tasted they were very quick to let me have a sample to see if I wanted to make a purchase. All in all, my favorite grocery excursions are here. read more

I usually love the staff & how nice they can be, until I ran into,Kenia. Older Spanish lady. Her and a bagger were having a conversation before letting me know I can put my items on the belt, after that she didn't ask if I found everything I needed, she didn't ask how I was, she didn't tell me the total (I know there's a screen to tell me, but I've worked at Publix before. I know the steps but I wasn't important enough for her or she just hates her job) she literally didn't communicate with me once until I paid to leave. I just get really bad anxiety when a worker doesn't communicate with their customers so I'm kinda disappointed with the only rude worker I've encountered in there. BUT, I will point out that I believe the bagger noticed & after a few items were scanned he asked me how I was & that's why I'm not not giving two stars. Give that man a raise & put that lady as a bagger, or even a janitor. read more

This is one of the better Publix in the area. I drive past the Publix on US 1 to get to this one. They have ready made pizza dough in the bakery section that is pretty good. They also have a little better beer selection. They carry Pacifico... good stuff. read more
