Overall, the food felt more comparable to a basic hotel breakfast buffet than a $65-per-person Mother's Day event. Service was also lacking. Our waiter rarely checked on our table, and we repeatedly had to get up and seek assistance ourselves. Several aspects of the event felt misleading. There was no clear indication during booking that the event would primarily be outdoors. We were seated in one of the elevated booths in the back where the fans provided very little airflow, making it uncomfortable. The advertised "live music" consisted of a single performer who was barely audible from our table. To add to the disappointment, the waterfall walkway was closed, which was one of the features we were most looking forward to enjoying while visiting the property. The only bright spots were the woman working at the front, who was kind and professional, and the employee at the omelet station, who was friendly and attentive. We chose Schnebly's for a special Mother's Day celebration because we had high expectations for both the venue and the experience. Unfortunately, we left feeling that the event did not deliver the quality, service, or value that was advertised. I also reached out directly to management regarding these concerns and, as of the time of this review, have not received a response.

You pharmacy in this store is the best that I have used in many years. I spent many years with Walgreens, then tried CVS and other Walgreens locations after I moved further away from that first Walgreens. But, I discovered that service at both of these pharmacies has changed significantly, and has become plain terrible, all due to their staff. Yes, poor customer service is part of life now, because there are very few "old school" employees everywhere. The employees of nowadays are distracted, careless, inconsiderate, unprofessional, incompetent, detached from work, impatient, arrogant, rude, and sometimes even ruthless. I'm very happy with your pharmacy at Publix Oasis Plaza in Homestead, FL, because every employee there has been the total opposite from all of the negative aspects I described above, and which I had been encountering practically everywhere. In this pharmacy they always answer the phone, are professional, attentive, courteous, caring, and address the customer's individual needs.. Basically, they act like good human beings, rather than like cold machines. While standing at the counter the other day, another customer joined me in expressing our admiration and appreciation for the staff's work there. As a matter of fact, my admiration and appreciation also goes for Publix supermarket employees in general. Thanks to Publix, I can still have a pleasant and tranquil experience while shopping and filling my prescriptions, in an environment with civil, reliable, helpful and well-mannered people. I've been shopping at this store for about a month now, but I've consistently found that paper bags are never available. While I appreciate Publix's commitment to health standards, I can't help but feel disappointed by their lack of sustainability efforts. Despite their claims, their use of plastic bags, excessive refrigeration, and inadequate inventory management fall short of what I expect from such a reputable company. As a longtime customer, and with my grandmother having shopped here since the early 2000s, I hope Publix can address these concerns to maintain its reputation. read more

One of the best groceries shopping experiences, you find at Publix. I like that they are clean and organized. Sometimes you go to other groceries when out of time and you can't go to your usual grocery store, they have items upside down, wrong places and veggie section isn't always the freshest. Dearest Charlie Uz,…read more I am writing to formally express my concern regarding an experience I recently had at the Publix located at 1220 E Palm Drive, particularly regarding the conduct of Store Manager Elias Gonzalez and the level of customer service I received. At approximately 3:20pm, I went to the store to order two salads. There were two ladies ahead of me being assisted by a gentleman. I waited until I was called by a female employee whose ID badge was not visible, so unfortunately I was unable to get her name. I proceeded to the salad station because that was where I wanted to place my order. The employee stopped at the sub station, and I politely asked her to come over to the salad station because I was not ordering anything from the sub station. She continued asking me what type of meat I wanted. I explained that I understood her question, but that I was asking her to come to the salad station because I wanted a specific cut of meat rather than the pre-cut meat. When she did not come over, I asked to speak with a manager. Mr. Elias Gonzalez came out to speak with me. I explained what had happened, including my concern that the employee's ID badge was not visible. I did not feel that Mr. Gonzalez handled my concern in a professional or helpful manner. When I mentioned the employee's badge, he stated that she was wearing a sweater. I questioned whether Publix employees are required to have their identification badges visibly displayed. I was later informed that employees are expected to have their identification badges visible. Unfortunately not for Mr. Gonzalez. I then asked to speak with another manager, Kristina S, who had assisted me with a previous issue. Kristina recognized me immediately and asked where I had been because she had not seen me in months. I explained that I was still upset about a previous experience at this same location. On that prior occasion, I had gone to pay for my purchase and was told by the cashier that she was closing her register and that I needed to go to another cashier. While I understand that employees may need to close registers, I felt the way the situation was handled was discourteous and contributed to my overall dissatisfaction with this location. Ms. Kristina was present when this occurred, she did address the employee. I also previously had an issue with the bakery department at this same store when the bakery manager spelled "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" incorrectly on my cake. I had taken a picture of the cake, and Kristina S saw the picture and apologized to me. What concerns me most is the repeated pattern of customer-service issues I have experienced at this location. I have been a regular customer of this Publix, and it is literally across the street from my home. Despite that convenience, I have reached the point where I no longer feel comfortable shopping at this location. I believe the leadership of a store sets the standard for how customers are treated. As the Store Manager, I expected Mr. Gonzalez to listen to my concerns, address them professionally, and make an effort to resolve the situation. Instead, I left feeling dismissed and disappointed. I am asking Publix to please review this situation, including the conduct of Mr. Gonzalez and the customer service practices at this location. I would also appreciate clarification regarding Publix's expectations for employees displaying their identification badges while working. I have been a loyal customer, and it is disappointing that I now feel compelled to take my business elsewhere even though this store is so conveniently located to my home. I always shop at this store, and the customer service has always been very good. However, today, 08/09/2025, at approximately 3:30 PM, I was assisted by a cashier named Karen, and the experience was very different. It all began when I asked her about the 40% discount promotion applicable to a single item. While assisting me, she was handing me my purchases without any bags, so I asked her to put my items in bags. Once she finished and I paid, I reminded her again about the bags, as all my purchases were still in the cart unpacked. Her response was extremely rude--she left me alone at the register and told me to go get them myself. This is the first time I have seen purchases handed over in this store without being bagged and with so little care. Fortunately, a gentleman who was there helped me with the bags. However, I believe the cashier's attitude was very unprofessional and does not reflect the good service I have always received at CVS.

However... After we joined I started to SLOWLY warm up to the idea. We've come in along with the hordes and had an actual healthy smoothie or not so healthy pizza & ice cream at the easy price food area before or after indulging in the warehouse that IS Costco. Are the prices worth it? Yes, IF you really need that 10 ton feedbag and will use it. Electronics are well played here, lawn furniture, comfy Thomasville couches, electronics, pots & pans, kitchen, bathroom, all manner of meats, wines, cheeses, produce, seafood, salads, boxed everything foods, beauty, jewelry, health, etc AMAZING inventory. It's a never-ending rows upon rows ala the Backrooms horror movie! If you come with list in hand, can control yourself from impulse buying and genuinely use large quantities specs or special big ticket items, this is IT. It's crazy, tho. One can definitely become overwhelmed quickly! Try it out with a Groupon special, or similar. Don't expect to get in & out quickly, but it is reasonable. Come at off peak hours. I've always loved Costco but I love it even more now after getting new tires. I've been needing new…read moretires and visited the tire center to get a quote. The guy, who I recall is named Angel, helped me. He told me which tires the car needed and the best time to purchase them to get a better deal. As suggested, I waited. When the sale began, I returned to the tire center to make the purchase but Angel informed me that they are sold out. However, he provided the item number of the tires so I can either check online or call him to find out if they are in stock. For the next week, I checked daily online. I finally found the tires in stock and made the purchase. The tires arrived to the center earlier than anticipated and I had the opportunity to change my appointment to get them installed earlier. When I went, the tires were installed right away. Within an hour, my car was ready. Overall, I absolutely loved the guidance I received from Angel through this process and how fast and easy it was to make the purchase and have the tires installed. Receiving texts from Costco providing updates truly made the process easier. And lastly, the best thing is the price. Nobody beats Costco prices.
