In the little unassuming town of Geismar located inside a Chevron you'll find TNT Express Deli and the best damn jambalaya that you've ever had. It was chock full of chicken, pork and sausage and spiced just right. It wasn't at all dry, even after I heated up some of the leftovers and it was affordable as well! On average, from what I have seen, this is about $0.05 cheaper than the Shell by the entrance to the outlet mall. There are 12 gas pumps, and is very brightly lit. The convenience store is well stocked with wide aisles. They do sell propane tanks outside (which would make Hank Hill happy) and bags of ice. All of the clerks I have encountered inside have been friendly in a small town kind of way, which is probably to be expected. I like stopping here for gas on my way between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, as I often find myself doing from time to time. Quick, easy, convenient.
