One can go anywhere for gas and coffee, but when I'm down in the Tampa area, I always go to 7 eleven for a cup of coffee, some gas, and a hot dog. The hotdogs are usually 2 for $5 or some variation. I'm heading back to Duval as I type. By the way, interstate I 75 highway takes a little longer but is not congested like Interstate 4 can become!@#$%

I noticed they also had other essentials available too. An additional pro of this store is that it's extremely clean and welcoming. It is a rarity to see. The only negative is that all Circle Ks still use Styrofoam coffee cups. After not drinking hot coffee from Styrofoam cups for awhile, you can really taste the unappealing chemical taste of it when you do use them. If they switch to paper, it would be great not only for the consumer, but for the environment as well.

I paid cash so that might have made the difference as the money due back is due right then not on a later statement. Give it a go

I have gotten gas here a…read morecouple times because of convenience, but I know that I wouldn't stop here willingly, and I try to avoid it if I can. The gas comes out of the pump extremely slow and it took me more than 5 minutes to pump only 10 gallons of gas. I couldn't pay at the pump because it kept saying it was already in use, and once I got inside, they told me that the gas had to go on my card as credit and I couldn't use debit - strange. Inside of this Hess there is also a Godfather's Pizza/Quiznos counter as well as a Dunkin Donuts counter with donuts and coffee. The coffee is usually pretty typical gas station coffee, which was kind of sad that Dunkin Donuts put their name on it. Honestly, it's nothing special. I haven't tried the Godfathers/Quiznos counter as it didn't seem super appealing to me. The one thing that I do return for is the convenience, and the nice staff. I usually end up picking up beer on my way home from work, and enjoy seeing the same people there on and off. Generally it's pretty clean with a small selection of snacks and drinks.

My account had been hacked, and I had forgotten to update my virtual card. I asked if I could run outside to grab my physical card from my car, which was parked at the gas pump, and she kindly said it was okay. When I came back inside, she had moved on to helping another customer, and we ended up having a few laughs. We were both buying the same item, and, feeling overly helpful, I offered to buy his item for him after he said he didn't have his id. Karen reminded me that she couldn't sell a restricted item without proper identification--even if I was feeling generous and had just met the guy. My mistake, but kudos to Karen for following the rules while still being friendly and professional. She made the whole experience pleasant. Great customer service!
