My account had been hacked, and I had forgotten to update my virtual card. I asked if I could run outside to grab my physical card from my car, which was parked at the gas pump, and she kindly said it was okay. When I came back inside, she had moved on to helping another customer, and we ended up having a few laughs. We were both buying the same item, and, feeling overly helpful, I offered to buy his item for him after he said he didn't have his id. Karen reminded me that she couldn't sell a restricted item without proper identification--even if I was feeling generous and had just met the guy. My mistake, but kudos to Karen for following the rules while still being friendly and professional. She made the whole experience pleasant. Great customer service! read more

Such a wonderful friendly and helpful late night crew... we don't have Wawa at home but have been to a couple other locations on different trips. We landed late, and on the way to the hotel were hungry, so when we saw this Wawa we stopped in to get a snack. We saw so many shake options... thank you to the Thursday evening crew (08/13) for helping us understand black/white vs other flavors! Fantastic shakes - Sharks on the Beach and strawberry! And they have MILKY WAY MIDNIGHT candy bars!!! Three Musketeers - chocolate and nougat Milky Way - chocolate and nougat and caramel Milky Way Midnight is so much more - dark chocolate and marshmallow and caramel - the ultimate candy bar!! And they were all on sale... so we got some of each type... our recommendation to you... do the same... pick up a Three Musketeers, a regular Milky Way and a Milky Midnight and compare them... share with family/friends (bring on a cutting board, each slices with a touch of culture and class) and sample and let your taste buds compare and contrast each candy bar type... and rejoice in the simple joy of it all, made possible thru Wawa. Wawa is a great gas station that has expanded quickly throughout Florida in the last decade or so and this is good news for residents of the Sunshine State. It might even be better news for those of us who came down to Florida from the Northeast, where we are familiar with Wawa. In addition to being a great gas station, Wawa has some pretty good subs inside. Since Wawa started around the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, they use the term hoagie to describe that particular kind of sandwich, but whatever you choose to call it, Wawa makes that good sandwich. This is even more so when you consider that it is a gas station. This particular Wawa does not appear to be in a good neighborhood and I did see a few homeless people about asking for money. I was on the phone while I was here so they did not approach me, but I did witness one going up to other people. However, that is certainly not Wawa's fault. All in all, I would definitely recommend this particular Wawa. read more

First time coming here, needed a place to fuel up from a drive from Orlando. Overall this place is conveniently located off the highway and definitely alot better than the gas station next door that I wanted to avoid visiting. Very friendly staff and great selection of food and drinks. Easy access to the highway, clean restrooms too. Always a fair crowd in the building. read more

I've been going to Wawa to get gas and free air for my tires for a couple of years. I didn't know it was so organized, clean, and pretty darn efficient when it comes to food and beverages. I just happened to go inside a couple of times recently to place an order. You basically use their touch screen ordering system, get a ticket with your number, pay at the cashier, and then walk on over to the pick up area and wait for your number to be called. It's easy and quick. It didn't take long for my order even during the busy morning rush. The service was fantastic. The staff are friendly. Now, I have to tell you about the food. I saw that they have some healthy breakfast sandwiches (some under 300 calories), and they have all kinds of coffee preparations. I got the cortadito with the option of almond milk. I know that sounds gross. My Puerto Rican mom wouldn't have been happy that I chose almond milk, but it was actually very good with the espresso. It was the sweetened almond milk. I didn't even have to put any sugar in it. It was prefect. I'd get it again. The breakfast sandwich was surprisingly good. Yes, it was my first time eating at a Wawa. I loved it! I will return since this is where I get my gas on the way home from the office. I want to try the chicken corn chowder that a friend recommended to me, and other menu items. read more

Stopped here on the way back to Orlando to grab a drink and use the restroom after a Buccaneers game. The place was pretty darn crowded, but it was probably because everyone else leaving the Bucs game had the same idea we did. LOL It is your typical Wawa. It's clean and convenient. Clean bathroom. Tons of snacks and drinks. Gas which is generally cheaper than other places in the area. Would have given another star if they would have had another register open. I hadn't been to this location in a long while and it really has gone down hill. I swung in at 6 pm to grab something quick and easy for supper. The parking lot had trash strewn around everywhere and was full but inside was almost empty. I ordered my food and went to pay. My salad came out right away but the cheese quesadilla wasn't ready for sometime later bc they did all the food out of order. There were 3 men behind the food station and I watched them make 7 orders never changing their gloves. As they attempted to make my cheese quesadilla one of them kept reaching over and grabbing burgers out of the container and grease and juice kept falling right in my food. It was so disgusting and unsanitary I just left before my food was ordered. I will not return. read more

Every single time I order a frozen coffee drink, I pay a whole dollar extra for a double shot of espresso. I watch them make it every time, and they never ever add the extra coffee. I've been too some nice WaWa's and this one has potential, but the day I went, there was trash all over the sidewalk outside, the bathrooms weren't clean, and the area by the registers is congested and it's difficult to tell if you are in line or not. Big redeeming moment though when a worker/possibly the manager, jumped into action to get the registers caught up. read more

When I found out that they are now matching the gasoline prices at Sams Club it helped me to make a decision on if or not sams club is a really important membership for my business and home. Wawa Has almost everything that I need and I can always get something to eat as well as a freshly prepared drink. Needed to stop for gas on my way home from the CYME Event. The WaWa was $0.02 more expensive than the station down the road, but with it being at the cross roads of 301 & MLK that is understandable. The station was neat and clean and well lit, which is important when you're 2 women traveling alone. The pumps worked efficiently and then we went inside to get coffee. They have easy kiosks to order at, and once the order is placed, you wait.. It doesn't take long for your order to come up either. Then you pay at the front check out. I'm no food connoisseur nor do i claim to be one but i do know what my taste buds like and Surprisingly WAWA has the best breakfast sandwich i have had in such a long time! The fact that my favorite breakfast meal comes from a trucker rest stop makes it all the more surprising & shocking! perhaps it is just this location who made my sandwich piping hot and fresh, but it DEF was on point. I don't think i can ever start a morning on a good note now with out one of these in my belly before i step into the office. They must have put some sort of special chemical droplets inside that i don't know about because these sandwiches are like crack, i keep coming back for more ha! I haven't yet dared to venture outside of my Sausage, egg & cheese on a crossant because everything else will fail in comparison and i don't want to start the day on a bad note. SO here i am now for the past week finding myself in WAWA to grab one of these hot treats so that i can officially start my day right. To further confess my love for this treat: the croissant is crispy & buttery, the sausage actually is a decent size, the egg is fluffy and the white cheese in the middle combines with everything to make the sandwich a melting perfection of breakfast goodness. I'm a regular at Wawa gas stations but this location unfortunately didn't meet my expectations. When I exited my car to check the pump number I had to dodge all kinds is liquid and trash that had been discarded on the ground by previous customers. The gas pumps had dust and caked on dirt as if they weren't cleaned in months and every trash can was filled to capacity. Wawa is a major gas station chain I would hope that they have procedures in place to make sure trash is dumped and the ground is power washed. Maybe this location had a bad day I'll give them another try. read more

We were able to get in and out quickly, which is the main criteria for stores like this, and the coffee was good and hot. Store was clean and easy to navigate. In Tampa for the super show RV event. Stopped in for gas and snacks and found this to be the nastiest Wawa I have ever experienced. Bathrooms were flooded no paper towels. The coffee stand was nasty cups, straws all over the counter. Nobody at this wawa gave a damn about cleanliness. When I want to start my day with a good cuppa coffee I head to my local Wawa's. When I pour my cuppa coffee and it comes out looking like tea, that's not a great start to my day.
