The credit card processor is outside the cashier window inside a container box great during COVID! Just remember the box handle was not cleaned or sanitized frequently. As I witnessed while getting gas, no one sprayed down the container box lid before or after use credit card transactions. So, sanitize your hands afterwards.

The store was closed for several days for the re-branding to take place, and to replace all of the inventory (I was told by the manager that when Valero closed, they removed all of the inventory). They carry most of the same items that Valero carried. Employees are generally friendly, and prices on products sold inside are about what you expect to pay at most convenience stores. My only gripe is their fuel prices tend to lag a bit - sometimes it works out in your favor (it took them several days to raise their prices after everyone else jumped back up to the ~$2/gal mark), sometimes it doesn't (they never dropped below $1.85, when other nearby stations were as low as $1.70). Exxonmobile's website lists incorrect hours - they actually close at 10pm from Sunday to Thursday, they're only open until midnight on Friday and Saturday. Fuel pumps are on 24/7 though.

I like to come here because what you can rely on is a well-lit station that has clean pump handles and a good selection in their convenience store. You can also rely on very good customer service. They also have a pretty good selection of beer if that is your thing. Their selection of line is somewhat Limited but I think that is to be expected for any convenience store gas station. My only complaint about this particular gas station is that it does not have a car wash.

Because this Texaco-not-a-Mobil Gas Station is a hidden source of ETHIOPIAN FOOD! I am not kidding. Walk into the store, past the chips which face the outside windows and turn on aisle 2. That's where you'll find shelf upon shelf of fresh injera. You'll find plastic containers of various spices, flaxseed and the like. Head back to the register and turn towards the drink machine. There you'll find a little mini-fridge full of other goodies, including barbere seasoning (a wonderful savory use-too-much-and-your-world-will-light-up spice mix). Tons of the labels are in Amharic, so unless you know how to read Amharic or have cooked Ethiopian food before and know what you're looking for, feel free to ask the staff. This by no means is a new Chevron it's been here for years I have just always tuned it out because I usually purchased my gas at Sam's. So I crossed the road to the southeast corner of the highway and Midway to get my gasoline. Throw this station is a little old it is really not that bad. It's pretty well maintained. I do wonder how they keep in business with their prices being so much higher then Sam's right across the street from them. I guess they are relying on the people that do not have memberships to Sam's.

The Manager is really cool and so is the attendant that works at night that has a the crazy hair. The reason for the review is because, once they started selling beer/liquor. The manager knew me and my wife and we always asked him when...when...when are they going to start selling. When the time came and the vote went through, he asked us what we wanted him to sell. I told him Fat Tire and my wife rattled off a few names of wines that she drinks. Sure enough once they got their first shipment in, both of our request were stocked. Its not too often a gas station will ask you what you like to drink so they can sell it.
