This place is honestly the best gas station on my side of Coweta county! Swirl world has a lot of flavors! The pizza is very good!

This RaceTrac has been a staple in Newnan for years! It sits at the corner of Bullsboro and Amlajack, just about a block off of Exit 47 on 85. Given this location and it's popularity, be prepared as this place is always insanely busy! Post renovation, this RaceTrac has been excellent for the most part! They got all the great additions of a new/upgrade RaceTrac including the yogurt bar, updated kitchen menu, larger selection and great coffee station! Additionally, they added to the parking lot, which is needed considering the amount of traffic this place gets...so those extra spaces really make a difference in the flow of the parking lot. Service is always decent. It is never phenomenal, but the staff is always helpful and courteous in all interactions, so no complaints. The only downside of this location is the bathrooms. Even though the rest of the inside and even the parking lot and gas pumps are all kept clean and in good condition, the bathrooms are always forgotten it seems. Overall, I have been coming to this RaceTrac for years and years, and will continue to do so when I visit the family! Plus, out of all the gas stations in Newnan, this spot usually has one of the best prices for gas! read more

Stay away. This Racetrac currently is making the strange choice of staying upon during remodeling, consisting of very loud construction and plastic wrap blocking off a large portion of the store. The kitchen is still open and is right by the remodeling... I hope you enjoy wood dust and fumes in your pizza. The restrooms are also disgusting and super small. They are also implementing these weird new self checkout machines. They are not social distanced whatsoever and the employees force you to come uncomfortably close to others. The machines are very faulty and the employees have to stand right by you and help you use them, so why not just have a normal checkout experience? read more

This RaceTrac has really gone down hill. The employees are irritable and aloof. The food options are hard for them to keep up with. Today they had no nacho cheese and the employee who filled a new bag kept hitting it but the cheese wouldn't come out. They walked away after saying, well, it's too thick right now. The iced tea is no longer brewed, it's like they poured it out of Lipton bottles, it's flat. The pizza was burned. The new lids for the large beverages don't affix to the cup and keep pulling off and cracking. What the hell RaceTrac? You used to be an awesome place for a pitstop. Did you give up? The RaceTrac at 2901 Newnan Crossing no longer supplies the individual coffee creamers. when you buy coffee you have to use the full size quarts of creamer that dozens of strangers have touched. Stopped in to use the bathroom. Clean stalls and fully stocked. Swirl world had 10 different flavors and the toppings bar was neat. Cashier was nice and the empanadas were fresh and hot. This is one of the cleanest gas stations/convenience stores I've ever been to. I went at 6am in a Monday morning and it was busy with people heading to work, though the lines were very short and there was ample staff- you can tell this is a regular go-to for people in the area whether heading to a construction site or office. - There is a huge array of protein bars - Freshly made sandwiches, wraps, yogurt/fruit/granola parfaits, fruits, veggies (like the chilled section you'd see in QuikTrip) - They have a large warmed cabinet of hot breakfast items like breakfast burritos, chicken biscuits, sausage biscuits, etc. - There is a large cabinet of Krispy Kreme doughnuts, apple fritters, etc. Assortment of prob around 10 varieties. - Large area with hot and fresh taquitos, vegetable egg rolls, meat egg rolls - Large selection for fountain drinks (bottled too) - Frozen yogurt/ice cream section (soft-serve, self-serve) with maybe like 8 diff flavors and 50 different toppings. This place is nasty. We stopped because I had to use the restroom, and wanted to try Swirlworld. Tissue everywhere in the bathroom, and a toilet brush cleaner with feces on the end. Needless to say I didn't get us anything because if you not cleaning the bathroom I know you aren't cleaning the food area. read more

The pumps were open but the doors were locked and a worker was walking around on the inside?! Gave me the feeling it was understaffed however should not have had the doors locked! Sad, Racetrac is always our go to because of the cleanliness, very disappointed. My toddler also needed to use the restroom! read more

2nd shift manager and staff are just unpleasant people. I understand policies and procedures you have to follow but having to completely shut down a bathroom I don't understand. The bathroom wasn't flooded or broken it was just mopped and drying. I don't think that is a reason to close down a bathroom completely. It's a large gas station with nice clean bathrooms. They sell the usual gas station fare but also frozen yogurt with toppings and fresh salads. A very good place to stop on your road trip. I would have given them 5 stars, but there were only 2 employees working on a Sunday afternoon during peak travel time. Supposed to be 24hrs, but it had a sign that stated that it was "closed until 2:30 am". It is now 2:42, and they still haven't opened.

Fresh ground coffee but stale donuts... The coffee was great because it grinds the whole beans for each cup. However, they were completely out of small and medium cups. The espresso machine only had 3 out of 5 spots labeled (one of which was hand written on receipt paper). My daughter and I each got a donut and threw them out- the long john (which was filled with apple instead of cream ) and a sugared cake donut were both stale. It was only 8:30 am... how could the donuts already be stale? We stopped by yesterday morning at 5:45am, and they didn't have any donuts out yet. read more

The new store in Newnan has been open for three days. There isn't a caucasian, asian, or Latin employee to be found, just blacks. I have friends who applied to this store that weren't even granted an interview. Discrimination at its purest. Also after 3 days the bathroom is already filthy. It clearly hasn't been swept or mopped. The cashier only rang up half of our stuff and my husband had to insist that she missed half of our items, she just wanted to get us out of her way. I give this store three months max before it looks like a toilet. read more

This is a great Racetrac, staff were extremely helpful and friendly when we stopped in here during our trip. These stores are always clean and well-lit and have a great selection of merchandise. As I have mentioned in other Racetrac reviews, I think my favorite thing about Racetrac is that they carry Krispy Kreme donuts, LOL. You can usually pick-up something relatively healthy to eat here (like a piece of fruit) if you are trying to avoid some of the usual convenience store fare. read more

I've been stopping by this Racetrac for many years. The staff have always been very friendly. Just before the new store opened, they changed daytime store managers. I have to say, I am not a fan. This manager is not friendly at all. Also, I've been in a few times since they've opened and this manager is yelling for everyone to break-up the single line and to get into three lines. I don't see the reason for his unfriendly and yelling manor. For a minute, I thought I was at the airport, being directed by a TSA agent. This guy is a terrible representation of this store and I don't appreciated being yelled at first thing in the morning, on my way to work. read more
