We viewed her website and fell in love with her style of photography. So natural and so beautiful. The first time we met with Rachel we instantly clicked. She has such a wonderful easy-going and bubbly personality that I just adore about her. We knew she was "the one!" We recently had our engagement session with her in Boston (in the middle of the city, SURROUNDED by people) and we were so nervous that it would be awkward and uncomfortable. But after a few shots were taken we felt totally relaxed. Rachel has this incredible gift that seems to make herself and everyone else around become completely invisable! My fiance and I felt like it was just us, hanging out, enjoying the day in town. And of course Rachel would help us with poses and found some beautiful spots for the pictures. My fiance and I recently did our engagement shots with Casey and she was so great in accommodating our unusual requests, such as shooting in a movie theater during a movie; inside a busy coffee shop; and inside a library. Also, we shot on a weekday evening, and had to reschedule a bunch of times due to weather and the library's odd hours--Casey was a saint and rolled with it. The result was well worth it, we were over the moon with the photos she took! They were exactly what we were looking for--vintagey and cool, with great use of lighting and angles. Our friends and family also had nothing but great things to say about them. I might mention that we are on a tight budget, and Casey's rates are more than reasonable. Casey is immensely talented and a complete joy to work with…read more When my husband and I looked for a wedding photographer, we felt like a lot of the photographers we interviewed involved some sort of compromise--they took great candids but their details shots were so-so, or they were great at detail shots but took cheesy posed photos, etc. Casey is fantastic at everything, so you don't have to compromise. She is particularly exceptional at couples portraits. She is has a very romantic, natural style. We ended up with dozens of beautiful, frame-able portraits of us that look totally unique (i.e. not like every other wedding photo where the couple is jumping in the air, or staggered ten feet apart and both looking off in the distance or any other cheesy poses--although I am sure if you want those things, Casey will do them). She is also a pleasure to work with. She was super easy to get in touch and very flexible and low-maintenance. During the wedding, she always seemed to be around when I wanted to grab her for a particular photo, but her presence was never intrusive. Casey is awesome. Hire her!
