We recently rented a tent for about 100pp for my son's engagement party.If they had a easy buttons for renting tents...this would have been a no brainer.. From the minute we started talking Jim gave us all the options.. and was so easy going.., but always making sure that we got what we wanted. Met him the day the we got the tent put up and he and his team were efficient, professional and easy to work with. the tent was in perfect condition, all set up with great lighting.. and while we didn't order the side flaps.. as we were hoping for a great weather.. he left them just in case. The guests raved about how it looked and my future daughter in law said that we could have had the wedding there that evening.. it looked so nice ! With the pending storm and high winds.. Jim sent out an email Friday evening to all tent renters over that weekend and explained some safety tips should it get windy or rain hard.. and also mentioned to let him know that when the party was over to let him know and he would make arrangements to get it taken down and out of the way asap. I sent him a note at 9 am on a Sunday morning and by 11:30 am the backyard looked like nothing ever happened.. From the start, Jim at Backyard Tent has been awesome to work with! We booked an initial 40 chairs for our outdoor wedding in a park and Jim was awesome when I neurotically emailed him just a couple weeks before our ceremony, asking for another 20 chairs and a table with a table linen. Jim and Backyard Tent were excellent and a perfect match for us because they both put my mind at ease that everything would get set up smoothly AND they made us feel like we were a priority for them. They were able to deliver, set up, and take everything down for a perfectly reasonable rate -- when the time of our ceremony rolled around, everything was taken care of! I was planning a surprise retirement party for my husband in January of 2020. I contacted Jim and we set the date for June. The the pandemic hit. We had to reschedule the party. Then I had to reschedule it again . Then Jim said how about we wait until things get more reasonable to have large gatherings. Two years later. Jim and his team came and set up. They are quick, quiet and funny. It looks like they are having fun setting up. No arguing And it was raining. This is the third time that I have used Backyard Tent rental. If there were a sixth star I would give it. That is how happy we were about working with these guys. We had a grad party for my brother and didn't even think about getting a tent. 3 days out and the forecast says it is going to rain cats and dogs. I got on the horn with Jim from Backyard Tent rental and he said he could make it happen. He told me the tent size that would fit best in my yard, which was also based on the number of people we were hosting. The package we got included tables, chairs, and lights. Jim and Backyard Tent Rental were fantastic and I highly recommend them for any services you need! My wedding venue had tables and a tent already on site, but had brick flooring and no dance floor. After a lot of searching, I was happy to find that their company rented just the dance floor without need of renting the tent as well. Jim was very easy to talk with, made the whole process very simple - he coordinated delivery/setup and pickup with my venue directly, with no added stresses (which was very nice since we certainly had enough else to arrange!). We called Jim looking for chairs and an arch for our small, beach wedding. The beautiful Maine birch arch that he provided, along with his outstanding response time and service, was outstanding! Against the backdrop of the beach sunset, the arch provided the perfect frame for our ceremony, and was just the touch we needed. Jim also provided lovely white garden chairs. Given that the ceremony was small and an hour from home, we were not able to meet Jim at the site before the ceremony. He was so accommodating, and followed our directions to the T! We recently worked with Jim and Backyard Tent Rental. We were in a bind and needed a tent within 24 hours of me calling him. My grandfather had just passed away and we were not able to have a brunch in a restaurant due to Covid restrictions. I called Backyard Tent Rentals to see if we could get a tent to host an small gathering after the burial. There were currently no tents available but Jim somehow figured it out, and was able to get us a tent. Best prices, best service!!! I planned a party from CT, for my son's graduation, that we held in Newton, MA. Jim was great communicating the prices, availability, and delivery schedule. I was so happy when the tent arrived and he actually maneuverued it at a perfect angle to fit the 20x30 canopy in the back yard. We were supposed to have light rain for an hour but turns out it poured for several. The tent saved the day! The package with tent, tables and chairs was by far the best and could not be touched by any other tent company that I contacted, and there were a lot. Fantastic, reliable service, great product at great prices! We called Jim about two weeks before an 80-person event and he could not have made the whole process easier with their packages of tents, tables, and chairs for 60, 80, and 100 people. I shot him a picture of our yard, and after a few emails back and forth, Jim took it from there. His team delivered and installed the tent and set up all the tables on site. All we had to do was unfold the chairs! The tent held through a thunderstorm the night before. This is a must book if you are looking for a tent for a backyard gathering! The tent was perfect. The owner Jim is a genuinely great person. He responds quickly and personally makes sure the tent is in the EXACT location you want it. Also when they were setting up I was headed home from the grocery store, he saw I was carrying multiple bags and dropped everything to help me carry them all into the house. I used Backyard Tent Rental for my daughter's graduation party for 60 and was very impressed with the quality of the tent, the excellent customer service and the best price around! The tent looked new - very clean and bright white. They took care of the tables, chairs and a dance floor, so I didn't need to do that separately. They set up on Friday and came back on Monday to take everything back. For a nominal fee, they set up lights on the tent which cast a festive light on the party. The high-canopied tent package was beautiful, the perfect size for the 80 people attending, and the perimeter lighting illuminated the space nicely. Jim was very responsive and easy to work with. I ordered a birch chuppah for my wedding on 8/4/18, and Jim delivered a beautiful chuppah. It comes unadorned, but Jim tells you that up front, and we liked being able to personalize it with our own coverings. Delivery and pick up were so smooth - I never even realized that Jim and his crew were there!
