The bartender was very friendly and this is the third restaurant in this building and he has been there for over 30 years I think he said. I didn't have the pie my self but it looked ok with whipped cream on top. The Saturday dinner menu was over for us because we already ate but I took some pictures because the place had no pictures on Yelp so you know I'm leaving pictures because thats what I do. The broasted chicken is wack because a 2 piece is $10.75 and the 4 piece is $12.75, a no brainer so get the 4 piece for $2 more. The hotel itself is very nice and has lots of amenities of its own if wanting to stay there. As for the restaurant itself it's one of the highlights. It's about $8 for an Irish coffee, which is a classic in the morning, evening, or whenever. Amazingly they have non dairy options including Bailey's Dairy Free Toffee Cream. It's about $18 or more for an entree which is a lot. We were able to find a few plant based options. I got the Roasted Squash Bowl. This has broccolini, farro, heirloom tomato relish, pickled red cabbage, and white beech mushrooms. An earthy flavor. She had the Vegan Shepherd's Pie. He said that he no longer offered food as he was leasing his kitchen out to the restaurant. The Mexican restaurant recently opened and had a long wait list, so this was a perfect option. I think that Dukes is more than just your typical local corner tap with a lot of potential for a good time and interesting conversations. We really enjoyed our time there!
