The place is a restaurant, deli and a bar which is kind of unusual but it is in a small town in Wi so it probably works well. The place is nothing fancy and very dated with old style wooden tables and chairs to the right in the dining room and the bar on the left. I thought an old fashioned would be just right to end the night and they were just what you would expect from a small town bar, just ok and nothing fancy. The bartender was very friendly and this is the third restaurant in this building and he has been there for over 30 years I think he said. I didn't have the pie my self but it looked ok with whipped cream on top. The Saturday dinner menu was over for us because we already ate but I took some pictures because the place had no pictures on Yelp so you know I'm leaving pictures because thats what I do. The broasted chicken is wack because a 2 piece is $10.75 and the 4 piece is $12.75, a no brainer so get the 4 piece for $2 more. Overall it was a nice place to finish off the evening with after dinner drinks and pie but keep in mind that there isn't a lot of places in the greater area because it's all farm county and small towns miles apart.

This is one of my favorite rock n roll clubs/bars in Iowa! Located right off the Mississippi where…read morethe boats are docked to shore, this is a great place to cast your anchor and hang out for a night and watch some music! When entering the bar you might think you are in a different land, and in a different time! It feels kinda like an Irish pub in a dungeon! But there's a pool table so you know your safe! There are two long bars one on the side room where the music is and one in the main room! I have been here numerous times of the past 10 years and the bar tenders always seem to be the same. And they are great! Prices are great too, you can get your fancy whisky or craft brews, but they also carry cans of PBR, and Old Mil for us on a budget! The music room is great, it has great sound, and Aaron H. who has booked here for years brings in great stuff, a totally curated room of music! The locals just come here cause there is live music and they usually leave satisfied in their choice cause Aaron has great taste! I have been lucky enough to play here a few times and every time I have had a great time! They have a great back patio as well, but like I said they are right off the Mississippi so it might get kinda buggy sometimes! This is a total gem if you find yourself in Dubuque!

It has a lot more room than expected with enough space for live music. As for the drinks and food they're good stuff also. The prices can be high but it's not crazy for the atmosphere and quality. Basically this is one of the first places one encounters when entering town from the east. It's located in the Irish Cottage Inn & Suites. The hotel itself is very nice and has lots of amenities of its own if wanting to stay there. As for the restaurant itself it's one of the highlights. It's about $8 for an Irish coffee, which is a classic in the morning, evening, or whenever. Amazingly they have non dairy options including Bailey's Dairy Free Toffee Cream. It's about $18 or more for an entree which is a lot. We were able to find a few plant based options. I got the Roasted Squash Bowl. This has broccolini, farro, heirloom tomato relish, pickled red cabbage, and white beech mushrooms. An earthy flavor. She had the Vegan Shepherd's Pie. An alternative made with faux beef and mushroom gravy There's also plenty of meaty options like beef medallions. For sure it's one of the nicer restaurants around here. It's closed Mondays. They amazingly have a few things for vegans and vegetarians.
